Doggy Day Care in Whitewater

“Like many others, I am an anxious dog mom and can be a bit nervous trusting new people to take care of my girl, Jagger. She’s a sensitive soul, and I’ve had a few bad experiences in the past. However, I’m so happy to say that Dan exceeded expectations with my pup! I took her to his home for a day of daycare, and she had the best time. Dan has a nice home and spacious backyard, which is great for my dog since she’s a big girl and enjoys sniffing, running around and basking in sun like a lizard. He has two dogs of his own, which was a huge bonus for her since she loves making new friends. She loved Dan from the moment they met and loved him just as much (maybe even more!) when I picked her up. Seeing how she acts around caretakers is a huge indicator for me about how comfortable she is and how well she’s being taken care of while I’m away. Dan gets 10/10 stars for this. Even when I came to pick her up, she was still running over the Dan for pets and lovins! She was happy to see me and ready to go home but not in a “please get me out of here” way that I’ve experienced before with other daycares and caretakers. What’s more, whenever I reached out to check on how things were going, Dan responded to me in a timely manner. It was also extremely comforting to know that Dan has such an extensive background in animal care/welfare. It reassured me that he knows what to do if something is wrong with my pup. Overall, I’m really happy with Dan and how he cared for my sweet girl! I’m so excited to have found a good fit for my dog!”

“Suzanne is simply awesome! I had been quite apprehensive because this was Pixie’s first stay away from home and she gets nervous around strangers. I need not have worried. Both Suzanne and her husband Dan knew exactly how to approach Pixie and make her comfortable. Suzanne kept me updated and sent me plenty of pictures. She contacted me when Pixie initially refused to eat and figured out ways to entice Pixie out of her shell. Suzanne and Dan took Pixie out for walks ; had her sleep on their bed and thoroughly spoilt her !They genuinely understand and care for dogs. If you think your dog deserves the absolute best, then look no further.”

She’s had some other small dogs that Olive played with throughout the day, and she was delivered back happy and exhausted. We have a nervous dog, so new places and people can make her hesitant. She immediately took to the sitter and the house. If she is uncomfortable it becomes obvious quickly, once we received a pic of her napping and comfortable we knew we made the right decision. About: I was raised on a ranch in Southern Colorado and have been caring for animals on a daily basis for most of my life! I have turned my passion for animals into my profession and I currently work at a pet store caring for animals day in and day out. I am currently in the process of obtaining my dog training CDPT-KA certification and have a ton of experience with puppies and dogs that need some work! I am trained in safe use of training tools such as e-collars and prong collars, and always use positive reinforcement in addition to any tools. I have experience with everything from farm animals to exotic fish, and everything in between. I will happily care for reptiles (including snakes!), birds, fish and livestock and of course I adore cats and dogs! I am trained in medication administration and have experience in identifying conditions that potentially need to be seen by a vet. Everything I do is for the good of the animals and I will always treat each and every one as if it was my own. I work part-time in the mornings and am available every day after 12pm, and available all day on my days off! I will always do my best to fit appropriate visits into my schedule. While I don't care for animals in my home, I will always treat your home as if it were my own. I am respectable and will always clean up after myself and the animals in my care - even the grossest of animal messes are not an obstacle for me. I am comfortable crating dogs, or making sure there are no potential dangers for a free roam dog to get into trouble with. Fresh water and food will always be provided during my drop-in visits (in alignment with feeding schedules, of course) and I will always make sure they potty on walks and during drop-ins, even if I have to stay a little extra to make sure 😊

About: Since I was a teenager I have worked with animals and loved every minute of it. From working in rescues, doggy daycares, and even as a vet tech in animal hospitals I truly love all animals and have lots of experience caring for numerous species. I’m currently staying at home working on building my own business so I have plenty of free time on my hands to care for your loved fur babies. I have previous experience with the medical side of pets needs whatever it may be from special cases to patching up small wounds. At my home I also have a fenced in yard and a very friendly dogs for company.

We often take walks in the neighborhood and play fetch in the backyard. I'd be happy to have your dog join us! There is a good amount of lounging on the couch as well! My schedule is flexible and I can accommodate your pups needs. My kids are in middle and high school so we work around the school district schedule. I have a fenced yard in a great neighborhood. My pup will keep your pup entertained. I can crate your dog if needed during the day or at night.
