About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I’ve been providing personal pet care for the past two years. I get along with dogs of all ages and breeds. I can keep up with any energy level your fur baby has. I currently only have my schedule on Rover filling my time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs and give them the playtime and/or walks they need daily. I will follow and maintain daily medication and feeding schedules of any complexity. I will follow all instructions given to ensure your furry friend gets the care they need. I just need to know what they can and can’t do and will make sure they are on their best behavior while I care for them.

About: I’ve grown up with multiple pets (dogs, cats, fish) since I was a kid. As an adult, I’ve lived with various pets and regularly pet sit for friends and family. I currently nanny part-time during the weem, so my schedule is flexible. This provides the ability to do multiple pet check-ins throughout the day and overnight stays if requested. My preference is to take care of your pets at your home, as this environment is familiar and safe for your pets. If that is not an option, I am more than happy to board your pets at my home.

About: I would be home with them 24/7; my mom is a dog groomer so I know a lot about dogs! I think it would be super fun to look after your pup! We'll sit and watch movies together or go outside and play fetch or tug-o-war! I would love to look after your pet today and be the best dog sitter you could ever wish for. Whatever it takes to make your pet happy I will do! Just give me proper instructions and I will make their dreams come true ! I would be home all the time… frequent potty breaks and playtime on a very large outdoor property located in Palisade/East Orchard Mesa! Remote area away from busy streets. There is plenty of space here for my dog and your dog to play together! I have toys I throw for my dog and she loves to run on the hillsides. Completely private and blocked off from any traffic or neighbors.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life, it's not just something I do, it's who I am. I grew up with three dogs and currently share my home with four cats and a bearded dragon, so I'm completely comfortable with a wide variety of pets, including reptiles. If your pet is a little unconventional, don't worry, I've got you covered. I have hands-on experience caring for multiple pets at once and know how to manage different personalities, energy levels, and needs under one roof. I'm especially great with puppies and young animals, I understand they need extra patience, attention, and consistency, and I genuinely enjoy that part of the job. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, a cozy place to stay, or just a caring face to check in on them, I treat every animal like my own. I haven't met a pet I didn't love, and I look forward to proving that to you and yours. Pet care is always at the top of my priority list! I am currently available any day of the week at any time, so your pet's routine never has to be disrupted. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and are given a calm, loving environment to settle into. I already live with four cats, so your kitty will be welcomed into a space that is fully pet-friendly and set up with their needs in mind. For visits at your home, I follow your instructions carefully: feeding schedules, medications, preferred routines, and any quirks that make your pet feel at ease. I believe consistency is key to keeping pets calm when their owners are away, so I stick to whatever routine works best for them. I treat every home I enter with the utmost respect, and every pet in my care like my own.

About: I've been caring for animals for my whole life, I've always had pets, and have been a walker on apps for 6+ years. I'm always willing to sit, board or walk. I volunteer with a small nonprofit that provides service dogs to disabled veterans and hope I can positively impact you and your pets. I currently volunteer, and work part-time with flexibility, so I can frequently pick-up/drop-off or check-in on your pets. My home is pet friendly with two cats. I do currently serve in the Navy reserves, so I travel to Denver once a month for a couple days, but I always know my schedule ahead of time. I have two cats who are comfortable around dogs, live in a two bedroom apartment, with close access to a grassy area and some local parks.

FAQs for Dog Walking - Whitewater

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 259 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Whitewater. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Whitewater. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Whitewater.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whitewater. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 90% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
