About: Grew up on a farm and so I was exposed to all animals. My biggest love is for dogs and cats. I am currently the dog mom to a loud and stubborn Blood Hound so I am use to walking 95lb+ dogs. I currently work as a nurse on night shift leaving me flexible during the day to check in on your pets. If you need me to check in at night, being a night shifter that is no problem. I have a fenced in yard so if there is a situation you need me to have your furry pet in my home, it is an option. I do tend to have treats for the furry friends (as long as they do not have allergies) during the walks and tend to ask if the furry friends are scared of children or other dogs so I can be mindful when walking them.

About: Hiya! Thanks for stopping by! I’m Abbie and I bring 37 years of pet sitting experience to your home and loved fur family. I am mostly here for drop-in care and walkies because I have my own Fur Squad at home, but if we are a good fit I can do short duration overnight stays here and there. I work from home so I have tons of flexibility to provide reliable, loving care for your fur babies with excellent communication and plenty of pics! At 14 I started overnight pet-sitting for family friends and continued through my teens, college and adult years. I grew up caring for all the family pets—dogs, cats, turtles, snakes and the occasional o’possum rescue. My personal and pet sitting experience includes kitties, puppies, active dogs, high energy dogs, senior and special needs dogs (I have a tender soft spot for the Old Bones), giving oral meds, subcutaneous injections, saline drips. I have rehabbed 3 ACL (knee) surgeries and have other post-op, wound care experience. I have found, fostered and re-homed several (including my own) Mexican street rescue dogs and cats including 2000 miles of car travel and transport across the border for 2 different doggos to their furever homes. And with years raising chickens and rabbits I can make sure yours are well cared for too! If your doggie needs some extra adventure, we can make additional arrangements for a cool splash adventure in the river or a hike in a local canyon. General rates will be adjusted as per you and your pet's needs. I am highly flexible since I work from home and make my own schedule. I have plenty of time for daily check-ins, walkies, feeding, belly rubs, snuggles and play. Field trips are available with additional arrangements. I have always been known for my excellent communication and attention to detail. I adhere to your rules and your pets will be cared for and your home respected exactly as you wish. A meet and greet will help establish clear understanding of your expectations and initial bonding with your pet.

About: I've always had a family dog I've helped take care of, but 7 years ago I got a dog of my own. I really learned the amount of effort it takes to care for a dog, and I learmed that quality time is the most important aspect of caring for a dog. I always made a priority to play with her or pet her or walk her to ensure we spent plenty of quality time together. In addition for caring for my own dog, I've dog sat for a few friends and acquaintances overnight. I love that each dog has it's own unique personality! As of right now I have open availability! I'm currently a college student, so I still have about another month until school starts back up. I can sit anytime except August 4th -7th until school starts! Like many dogs, I'm an active individual. If your dog requires a lot of exercise, I'm more than happy to take them for as many walks as they need or play with them! If your dog is more mellow, I can just relax with them. Whatever needs your dog has, I am more than happy to care for them. In terms of safety, I always make sure to walk dogs at an appropriate leash length and make sure that doors in the house aren't open or dangerous objects are within their reach.

About: My family has had several pets through out the years and I have recently become a cat mom. I enjoy being around animals. I am also recently retired so I have all the time in the world to take care of your wonderful fur-babies. I am recently retired and just moved into the Grand Junction area so sitting someone else’s pet will be nice and my days are open My cats don’t require allot of care but I am constantly showing them affection. I will make sure my clients pets are also showed affection

About: Mom and daughter dog-loving team! We have years of experience caring for dogs-large and small. We will give your pets all the love and care they need while you are away. Working from home means we can care for your pet throughout the day. My 14 year old daughter and 12 year old son love to help care for animals and will give your pet extra attention, walks, and playtime. We can provide playtime, walks, medical care, food and water refills, or just potty breaks while you are away! We will gladly follow all guidelines you give and provide consistent training/commands that you request.

About: All my life I have been surrounded by all different kinds of animals, from the fluffy to the scaly. I am familiar with taking care of any four legged friend and even the ones that slither. Ever since I got my license in high school I was the designated family pet sitter, any time a relative had a vacation planned they would ask me if I could watch their pets overnight and make sure that their furry friends were both happy and most importantly healthy. I am even familiar with interacting with more aggressive pets and have no problem getting to know them and building trust with them. I am attending college at CMU and I am currently on summer vacation so my schedule is incredibly flexible. If you need someone to just drop in for a bathroom break and hang out with your furry friends or if you need somebody to stay overnight and take care of any other pets I’m your guy. I currently own two cats that I have loved and been taking care of for the past four years. Since we live in an apartment complex they can’t really go outside so it is incredibly important that I provide them with a wide variety of toys and entertainment. I make sure that they constantly have access to their toys and I even have a few toys that I can use to play with them too. While these are the only pets that I personally own they are not the only animals I interact with constantly. My brother has two pit bulls that I watch on a regular basis, and for them I have to use a completely different method. Since these dogs are more aggressive than other dogs I have to be creative when it comes to taking care of their needs. For exercise in the day I will play fetch with them in the back yard and then when it gets dark and less people are out that is when I will take them for a walk. I am also familiar with taking care of reptiles and making sure that the heat lamp is working correctly and making sure they have plenty of water.

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a kid. I grew up in a home where we always had 4+ animals at once and I was the caregiver. I don't have time to get a dog of my own but this is the next best option. I am home during the day's as I am remote and can work from anywhere. I am happy to go on walks as many times as you request and whatever other activity they might enjoy. I am totally cool with the dogs sleeping in the bed with me, but can also abide by the rules of whatever they are taught at home. I just moved to this area and I so look forward to meeting your fur babies. My schedule is flexible, so I can work with you on your needs. I’m totally happy staying at your place for overnight visits and extended trips. I’m able to care for your pet in whatever fashion is required. I have dealt with dogs that need a lot of extra attention and care. Just tell me what you need and I will do my best to accommodate

About: I have volunteered for a couple of years now with predominantly dogs. Taking them on walks and giving them lots of love and attention. Supporting them when they need it most. If there’s an animal around, chances are I’m petting it! I have both dogs and cats at my house and enjoy hanging out with them every chance I get. I love going on walks with my dogs on a nice day and can spend hours throwing a cat toy around! For me my cats do not go outside and if I walk my dog they stay on leashes. I check that they’re fed and that they have water and don’t mind taking my dogs outside regularly to make sure they can potty. In a clients house their animals safety and comfortability is most important to me.

“Sharon seems like a very conscientious dog walker. She was attentive to my schedule and to the dogs. Also was good at communicating with me. Will definitely use again.”

About: I worked at Bark & Meow for 3 years and was also the kennel Tech manager there for almost a year. I then worked at Wag Resort as a kennel tech, and moved to Casa De Pets as the grooming shop manager. I am certified in pet CPR and first aide and have learned about pack mentality and dog behaviors. I have a black lab and a border collie myself. I hope to meet you and your pets and spend some quality time with them. I work full time Monday-Friday so I am available Friday afternoons and all weekend. I can do drop in visits to your home and also come over on the weekend to walk your pets. I ensure to follow your pets normal schedule and stick to their normal routine that they are used to. I can administer medication at their normal time, and come to your home to check on them multiple times a day.

About: I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're actually really lovely!) I come from a long line of animal lovers. My great grandparents had a 'farm' when they retired and this was truly a haven for unwanted animals. Many animals they cared for were abandoned hunting dogs. When visiting as a kid, the lovely mutts became my best pals, and some of my fondest memories are piling in the back of a pickup truck with the dogs, exploring the woods and creek beds, and watching thunderstorms with them. I now have a one year old lab mix and 3 cats in my home. Many photos are of my late dog, Quinn, who made it impossible to live without a dog in the home. I have a flexible job that allows me to work from home, so I am flexible with pick-up and drop-off times unless otherwise communicated. I am in RVA most weekends as well. I have a fenced backyard and a dog and 2 cats. The cats have been around other dogs, and Eddy the dog loves other dogs- he has lots of energy to share!

About: I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, and even goats and cows at different times. I have always "had a way" with animals and even have an associate's degree in equine management. I am retired with a flexible schedule, and care for my 87-year-old mom, my husband (as needed, ha!), and a friendly, spoiled beagle. I love to hike in the local area and would be glad to take your dog on walks in the desert or on the many paved trails nearby. We have a fenced yard and a dog door that can accommodate up to a medium-sized dog. Our dog (Tucker) is part of our family, and your dog would be treated the same way. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I have a garden and care for my elderly mom, but your pet can tag along for those activities, or stay crated in our house, depending on the pet parent preferences. I have a fenced yard and a friendly beagle to keep your fur baby company. I am home all day, so will be here to let them in and out for potty breaks. If pet-sitting in someone's home, I would not bring my dog along (unless requested).

About: I can't remember ever being without a dog or cat! Caring for, running, walking, hiking and sitting for all pets has always been my passion. I'm available anytime after 7 am to visit with, walk, hike or run your pet. I'm also available to just sit with and snuggle your pet anytime. I will come to your home and pick up your pet and exercise them, or visit in your home respecting your desires and pet's limitations.

She is a caring and kind human and any animal would be lucky to get to spend time with her.”
