About: As a career animal welfare professional, I'm ready to bring my decades of experience in animal care, veterinary care and animal handling to you and your home to ensure you have total peace of mind and your pets are cared for and safe while you're away. My entire professional career has been in the animal welfare field. I've worked as a cruelty investigator in both major metropolitan as well as rural agricultural regions. I've worked on farm animal sanctuaries as well as in city shelters. I'm still very involved in animal rescue through disaster response as well as large scale animal cruelty case deployments. Currently, I work for/co-founded an organization which provides low-cost veterinary care services to underserved areas in the region. As someone who utilizes Rover heavily for pet sitting services while traveling for work, I know just how important it is to have a service like this available as well as what a trusting, reliable sitter can do for peace of mind while out of town and away from you pets. I currently work from home (when not traveling for work) which allows me to devote full days to pet care while sitting nearby in my home office. I have a large, fully fenced yard. Your dogs will be able to spend as much, or as little, time outside as they desire. I have two resident dogs who are very welcoming of all four-legged (and two-legged) visitors and will be more than happy to share all their favorite toys and most comfortable spots on the couch.

About: My lifelong experience with dogs sets me apart as a dedicated and knowledgeable pet caretaker. Growing up with a reactive dog who was both aggressive and fiercely loyal taught me how to manage reactive dogs with patience and skill. By comparison, handling other dogs has been much easier. In my 20s, I expanded my care by offering both in-home dog sitting and regular check-ins for clients, as well as dog walking services multiple times a week. I’ve handled everything from energetic puppies to older pets, and I'm experienced in administering medications with creative solutions like hiding pills in cheese. This background gives me the confidence and skills to provide the best care for any dog. As someone currently pursuing education remotely, I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care. Since I set my own study hours, I’m able to dedicate quality time to playing with and caring for pets. I particularly enjoy afternoons and evenings, which are my preferred times for walking, feeding, and playing with pets. While mornings are not my favorite, I’m still available on certain days if early pet care is needed. Additionally, I’m free most weekends, which provides ample opportunity for extra attention and longer outings. One of the benefits of my routine is that I rarely travel, which means I’m available for overnight stays if needed. Whether it’s providing day-to-day care or ensuring pets are well looked after overnight, I’m able to integrate pet care seamlessly into my life. I believe that every pet has its own unique personality and needs, so I approach each one individually. My goal is to maintain the pet's routine as closely as possible, ensuring they feel secure and comfortable in their own home environment. When I stay with pets in their home, I treat them as if they are my own beloved companions, providing extra love and attention while their family is away. Whether it’s sharing bed space for overnight snuggles—if that’s allowed—or ensuring they are crated if needed, I prioritize their comfort. I’m also happy to take dogs for short walks or longer outings depending on their energy levels. If the client suggests or requests it, I’m more than willing to take them to a dog park for some extra exercise and socialization. If a pet requires multiple bathroom breaks or specific accommodations, I’m more than happy to adjust to their schedule. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure every pet feels loved, safe, and well cared for in the comfort of their own home while their family is away.

About: My entire life, I've never lived in a house that wasn't filled with cats and dogs! I love spending time with animals - even as a kid I was volunteering at animal shelters. For several years now I've been regularly pet sitting for friends and neighbors, checking on their cats, walking dogs, making sure everyone is healthy, fed, and safe (I even cared for a snake once!) I can't wait to meet your fur babies! New to Grand Junction and just getting settled in! I'm able to be there at whatever time best suits your needs (and your pet's needs!) I think it's important to keep pets on their normal schedules as much as possible! I strive to keep your pets walk/potty/food routines as close to their regular times as I can. About: I have been around animals my entire life! I took an interest in animal care when our family dog was a senior, and was diagnosed with kidney failure. A little while after she was diagnosed, we got a puppy. She was supposed to be another family dog, she just liked me better. Taking care of a puppy and a senior dog was tough at times, but there was never a dull moment! A while after our senior dog passed away my puppy was diagnosed with a thyroid issue. So giving medication to your pups is not an issue! Feeling accomplished, knowing your dogs are very happy and healthy. With you putting the time and energy into helping them grow.
