As a career animal welfare professional, I'm ready to bring my decades of experience in animal care, veterinary care and animal handling to you and your home to ensure you have total peace of mind and your pets are cared for and safe while you're away. My entire professional career has been in the animal welfare field. I've worked as a cruelty investigator in both major metropolitan as well as rural agricultural regions. I've worked on farm animal sanctuaries as well as in city shelters. I'm still very involved in animal rescue through disaster response as well as large scale animal cruelty case deployments. Currently, I work for/co-founded an organization which provides low-cost veterinary care services to underserved areas in the region. As someone who utilizes Rover heavily for pet sitting services while traveling for work, I know just how important it is to have a service like this available as well as what a trusting, reliable sitter can do for peace of mind while out of town and away from you pets.

Daniel was great! He was very communicative, professional and sent pictures throughout the day which we love! Our dog is pretty anxious and we felt very comfortable leaving her with Daniel. He had 2 adorable and super friendly dogs and a nice home. Thank you!
Mesa had a fun day at Daniels home and she came home happy and relaxed. I'm so glad my pup has a fun place to stay!
Daniel was friendly, helpful, flexible, and communicated with us promptly & sent lots of pics. Our dog had a great stay & must have felt safe, happy, and loved because he ate well. (Our pup will go off his feed when feeling out of sorts). Plenty of room for fun play inside the house and in the fenced backyard. We will definitely use Daniel for our Rover next time we are in the area.
Daniel and Jessica were wonderful with my pup Mesa and she came home happy and relaxed. I also appreciate the updates I go throughout the day, I'm happy to see Mesa had so much fun!

We were so happy to have Clover stay with Daniel last minute. He did a great job communicating and had an organized process for letting the dogs meet and get used to each other. I can tell she's had fun. We'll definitely call him next time we're in town.

Schedule
I currently work from home (when not traveling for work) which allows me to devote full days to pet care while sitting nearby in my home office.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large, fully fenced yard. Your dogs will be able to spend as much, or as little, time outside as they desire. I have two resident dogs who are very welcoming of all four-legged (and two-legged) visitors and will be more than happy to share all their favorite toys and most comfortable spots on the couch.

A typical day
I can accommodate any level of activity that your pet needs... naps on the couch, hikes in the desert, or even just a little bit of fetch in the yard. Whatever their routine is can remain their routine with me!
