About: I am an avid animal lover with 13 years of experience under my belt! I’ve take care of dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and rabbits and loved every second of it and I would love to take care of your pets too. I make sure to treat every single animal like my own and as if they were a human baby which essentially they are! I have taken care of animals for family and friends as well as my own and I wish to become a sitter on rover to continue this while helping others out in this crazy world! As it’s summer I am available Monday-Wednesday for the entire day! I do work the rest of the week but I can fit sitting/walks in when needed/requested. I care for pets like they are my own and they are beautiful animals with emotions just like us and I treat them as such. With care, compassion, love, respect and I make sure to engage with them so they get their daily mental stimulation either through playing or puzzles!
“Debra did a fabulous job of taking care of Ranger! I knew he was in good hands and appreciate the proof of life photos (she took a bunch) made my day while I was away”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have always had a deep love for caring for them. Over the years, I’ve helped take care of dogs, fish, and farm animals, which has given me a lot of hands on experience with daily routines like feeding, walking, cleaning, and making sure they feel safe and happy. I’ve also cared for many different dogs, each with their own personality, and I genuinely enjoy building trust with them and giving them attention, comfort and playing with them. I’m a student at CMU, so I’ll be gone during parts of the day for classes and occasionally work on weekends, but that also means I’ll have plenty of time to give your pets lots of attention, care, and love when I’m home. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved by sticking to their routine, giving them lots of attention, and creating a calm, clean space. I treat every pet like they’re my own!
About: I have personal experience with administering topical, injection, and pill medication to cats. As well as i’ve pet sit for families with mixed breeds and animal types. I’ve watched dogs from Pitbull and Pitbull Mastiffs to Huskys to Chihuahuas to new born puppies. I love animals and don’t think I could live without them, while i’m in Grand Junction for school, I’d love to show other animals the love I hold for my own since I cannot see them while I’m here. 😭😭😭 Right now i am working 2 jobs to hold myself up in college here at CMU. I have plenty of afternoon time to help out for date nights or even weekend visits while you’re away. My classes are after 11 right now as well, so I can come early in the morning for food and walks 🩷 I unfortunately live on campus so I can’t bring them home with me, but I would be more than happy to help out at your home and take the pets on walks and feed them regularly. I do have my car and it is big enough for rides too. ❤️
“Christine is absolutely wonderful! We are so lucky to have found her to take care of our fur babies while we went on vacation. We would highly recommend her to anyone! We feel so confident in her taking care of our kitties.”

“Hope has been great with communication and attention to detail. I have many specific requests with my elderly dog and Hope has confirmed every one while also being patient when I was out of cell/wifi range. I plan to continue to work with her 😊”
About: Hello, my name is Lara and I am a pet enthusiast! I love spending as much time with dogs and cats as possible, and I'm so eager to meet new furry friends. I recently moved to the area from Michigan where I worked for a dog sitting company for 2 years, privately nannied for a few dogs, and fostered 12 different adult dogs and puppies through different rescues. I've lived with and cared for a variety of breeds and temperaments, and I'm always excited to expand my knowledge with a new breed :) I love to take pictures of your pet and update you with how your baby is doing while you're away. Let's set up a meet and greet to see if I am a good fit for your fur babies! Can’t wait to meet you :) I have a fairly flexible lunch hour and am typically around on weekends. I can take a midday lunch to drop in on your pet, or swing by at dinner time, whatever you prefer. I make sure to be present often if I am pet sitting so your dog won’t feel anxiety over you being away! I like to follow their routine so the can feel as normal as possible while you’re gone.

About: I’ve taken care of my pets since I was young, so about 12 years old. I’ve had dogs and cats, and currently have two cats and one dog, she’s a chocolate lab-pit mix that we rescued off the street. I’ve also pet-sitted for my friends and family whenever they needed and was able to take them on regular walks and check ins. I’m currently a college student so I’ll have plenty of time to take your pets on walks or just simply check in if needed! I live in a dorm, so I am unable to keep pets with me but I would be more than happy to swing by or stay if needed! At my home back in Arkansas, we had a fence with a natural backyard so our dogs were able to play outside whenever they wanted.
“Asylan checked in on my cat over the course of almost 2 weeks. She sent daily updates and pictures and I knew my cat was well taken care of. Would definitely book again. Thank you, Asylan!”

About: All-Around Animal Lover! From cats and dogs to fluffy rabbits, I’ve cared for them all. I’m happy to help with long walks, nail trims, tidy bathroom cleanups, and even medication routines. Your sweet pets will get tons of love, care, and quality attention every single visit! I'm currently available during the weekdays and love taking new furry friends on walks, runs and play days in the park. Willing to do weekly walks as will as random requests day to day. When it comes to walking, I always like to pick safe trails and paths. Days at the park are always dog and furry friends' friendly areas.
“We love having Erin watch our little Momo when we have to leave him behind. We can tell from his demeanor on our return and all the pictures when we are gone, that he was very well cared for and loved. Thank you!”

“Andrea did an amazing job caring for my 2 y/o Bengal cat while I was out of town. She had great communication, sent pictures, was on time to scheduled visits, and played with him each visit. I came home to a very happy cat! I would highly recommend Andrea!”

“Camryn was great with our older cat, who seemed to love her. Our cat rarely comes out to visit new folks, but warmed up to Camryn right away! We really appreciated her updates and that she look such good care of our kitty! We will definitely reach out to Camryn again!”
About: I trained my own dog, I also take care of other friends animals. When your baby is with me it’s a spa day for them. They call me the animal whisper. I love being around them, giving them love and treats❤️ I work Monday through Thursday, but I make pet care a priority every day. I always plan around the animals’ needs, and I use my lunch break at 1 PM to check in, give walks, or just spend quality time with them. In the evenings and on weekends, I’m fully available for longer visits, playtime, or overnight stays. Caring for pets is more than a routine for me. It’s something I truly enjoy and look forward to. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I create a secure and loving environment tailored to each pet’s needs. I always use leashes during walks and keep a close eye on surroundings to ensure pets stay safe and relaxed. I follow any specific instructions you provide, whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, or preferred routines, so your pet can feel right at home, even when you’re away.

Ariana was Amazing with our dog Cheeto! It can be weird to ask for someone to go to a camp resort and enter your travel trailer, but Ariana didn’t mind. She was great with our Cheeto, on time, and followed directions! When in Moab Ariana is a great choice for your dog!

Thank you for your amazing care of Louisee again! I am sorry she was a scaredy cat and didn't come out to play with you but I appreciate your attempts and also the pics - at least she ate and pooped and didn't rip out my plant entirely! :) Really appreciate you, Lacie, and highly recommend you for any other pet lovers in GJ!

On Rover, sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets, and your pet’s specific needs. You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
