I am currently open for any type if dog sitting. I watched a dog for the whole month of November 2022 at my house and that was loads of fun. I aim for a 30 minute walk a day for every dog if they don't have walks as a routine. Some pet owners request more and that's perfectly fine if that's a part of their routine. I prefer to spend all night at your house, then 2-4 hours the morning and 2-4 in the evening before bedtime at your house if I'm house sitting.

(I don’t know why rover says I have a fenced yard, I don’t :(, but I have plenty of space around my home for great walks and a park down the street for scenic walks :)) I had-HAD- (she passed away) a one-eyed, toothless black kitty who is the lmol right now! Her will being depends on food, cuddles, and play time. She has an anxious character, since living me it's became important to me let her know she's safe with me and protected by me so she feels confident to greet my friends. It's important to me to prioritize her well being and I'm committed to that everyday. I feel the same way when I'm pet sitting. I feel it's important to prioritize their well being through cuddles, play time, food, and whatever they made need as well. Growing up I learned how to clean up after dogs. Additionally, as an adult I have house keeping/cleaning experience from working as a house keeper. I find the experience really useful when house sitting. I try to send pictures and videos every single day. If you have a schedule I will take pictures and videos during the schedule so you know I'm following it.

Information Erin J. would like to know about your pet

Does your dog have bad habits? Do they develop any anxious dog habits while your gone and introduced to someone new that you know of? What are their schedules? What are the biggest problems I have to watch for? When you’re away how many times a day would you like me to check in? Are they allowed on furniture? Do they have bad habits when you're away that you know of?

A typical day

I love high energy dogs! I think of them as a challenge. Playing ball, playing water, going for long walks to challenge and tire them out is lots of fun. If we go for walks I'll probably and prefer stay in your neighborhood. However, I have taken dogs to parks 5 minute drives from their home. I have also taken some dogs on hikes and on car rides with me with owner's consent or request.

Erin is a sweet and caring person. She loved on my moms dog, Jet, like he was her own. She took our dog at a moments notice during my moms medical emergency. She was also concerned about where Jet was going to be next while moms medical emergency was going on and noticed little personality quirks about Jet.

Erin did great. She is very punctual and reliable. She provided updates and my cats seemed to like her. Would recommend!

Erin agreed to housesit for us and our 3 dogs starting 5/8 and ending on 5/11. We told her that we were choosing housesitting vs. drop-in visits because our furbabies are not used to being alone for long periods of time and that they have never been alone overnight and we weren’t sure how they would do. We made it perfectly clear to Erin we did not want our dogs being alone for more than a couple hours at a time with the exception of the time she needed to go to school on Friday and Monday. She told us she had a “very part time job” but it wouldn’t be an issue. On 5/7/26 (the day before we were scheduled to leave), she met with me to review instructions / expectations during our time away. At this meeting, I let her know that I would be taking one of our dogs with me and so she would only have the two dogs to take care of. She asked if I wanted her to change the booking, and I told her that she didn’t need to do that since she had probably already been paid. At this meeting, she told me that she also feeds a cat 2x a day and would need to be gone for that. She never mentioned this before. I agreed that that would be ok for this time. What was I supposed to say? It was the day before I was scheduled to leave and would not have had time to make any other arrangements. I am very disappointed at the amount of time she spent at our house interacting with our dogs. We have a security system and have documentation of times she was here vs. not here. Out of 72 hours (3 days – which is what we paid for), she was at our home a total of 34 hours (which included sleeping hours). She only had 7 ½ hours actual interaction with our dogs – one time, only 48 minutes before she was gone again!! Quite often, our dogs were left alone for 4 ½ hours to 6 hours at a time. She arrived here at 11:29 pm one night, and 10:35pm another night. She was gone each morning between 6:30am and 6:56am. Thank goodness I took one of my dogs with me. He requires daily meds at certain times. What a nightmare that would have been!! Because I didn’t hear from her very much, I started asking if the dogs ate, if she was at the house, etc. She responded with, “I promise if they don’t eat or if anything is wrong I’ll tell you :)”. I felt I couldn’t even ask her any questions after that. At 9:31 Sunday evening, I told her that our neighbors had told us the dogs had been barking quite a bit for the last little bit and I asked her if everything was ok. She didn’t respond until 6:47am the next morning stating, “I’m sorry for the barking, they were all okay”. She asked about what I expected from her for cleaning. I told her she didn’t need to do anything but clean up after herself. When I arrived home, there was a dirty dish on my headboard, several dirty utensils in the sink, full bathroom garbage (which had been empty upon her arrival), the door to the hot tub room was open and lights left on overnight, there was an empty pudding container and silverware and other garbage in the screen room, there was some kind of reddish/brownish spots on the bathroom floor (don’t even want to know what they were). She was asked to bring in the mail and any packages and leave them on the kitchen table. She did not do this until Monday morning at 10:11am. She knew I would be home at 11:00 so really...why even bother other than me knowing she didn't do what was asked of her. We were expecting a few checks and if they had arrived, they would have been left in the mailbox for 3 days. While I wasn’t specific in saying to bring in the mail every day, I thought this would be common sense. Overall, I am very disappointed in the care my pups received.

What a great time Toby had with Erin. Erin kept in touch with us daily with up dates of walks how he was doing and pictures while we were out of town. We were very happy with the care and attention given to Tobey. If and when we go out of town again we will call Erin first and see if she is available. Thank you Erin.
