About: I can't imagine a life without animals around. I have been taking care of people's horses, dogs, cats, goats, and birds my whole life. I just sold my business and am in a great space to hang with your pup(s) while you hike or bike or raft in Moab. I have traveled a lot with our pups and know how nice it is to recreate without stressing about dogs in cars or not being able to enjoy the area because it is too hot to leave them unattended. Your fuzzy child is welcome in my air conditioned house and I love taking them on hikes with my pup Louie if they enjoy that kind of thing. Or, my lap is always free too! I just sold my business and I am very flexible. I am available for early drops so you can enjoy the area before the heat of the day. I enjoy hiking with my dog and love it when I can take others with me, which is dependent on the temps when we meet. I have a fenced in back yard but will keep them on leashes at all times when we leave the premises and on hikes unless you instruct otherwise. I have an air-conditioned house and your dog will chill with us inside when not out playing. I love, love my dog and will take care of yours like I do mine.

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life! I love them, from puppies to seniors, and have taken care of them in all phases of life. I am detail oriented and will keep your dog safe! I have a flexible schedule and work close to home, as well as my partner works in the home full time. Weekdays and weekends are available when we are in town. I have a fenced yard, three dogs, three cats, and chickens in a run. A separate housing area with heating, air conditioning, and a kennel. All outdoor times will be monitored.

About: My name is Val and I reside in Moab, UT. I have been sitting through Rover for many years, took a long break and now that my 15 year spaniel has passed on, I am back and loving on pups as if they were my own and as often as I am available! I am a respectful and responsible pet, house and plant sitter and I can't wait to meet and play with your cherished fur friends! I love being outside as much as possible and having your high energy pet with me is a huge bonus. I also have experience taking care of puppies and senior animals. I have no issues with pets that may need more attention and training - including puppies or animals that have medical requirements. Know that your pets will be very well loved by me, while you are away. Please see my 'sitting style' for more info! I work from home and part time, so your pet will rarely be left alone unless I need to go to the store or the gym. I live in a studio in a quiet neighborhood and I have a secure yard. I prefer to be outside with yourr pet as I get to know them. I usually leave my door open to the outside while I am home so your pet can come and go. I will always have your pet on a leash on walks unless their recall on trail is impeccable.

I have a flexible schedule which allows me time for house/pet sitting in your home, hotel, RV or Air B & B in Moab and the surrounding area. Lots and lots of snuggles with very long drawn out conversations about life while makings sure that play is our number one priority! I also have full awareness that they become stressed with strangers and make sure to take the time to make them feel at ease as I feel going the extra mile to ensure their comfort makes all the difference. About: Dogs that come visit usually have a blast being part of the pack and end up learning some desirable behaviors with my 2 service animals Bellie and Lola. I am a retired veteran so i am free to work with dogs all day everyday, its very rewarding and works great with my schedule. I have a couple of runners set up and shade structures. When it is hot I let the dogs inside. I take the dogs out to play with my pack often. We will go on walks, throw frizbee, play tag, practice tricks, etc. I like to take the dogs swimming too if thats permitted by the owners before hand ( I have doggy life jackets).

About: I have cared for a variety of pets throughout my life including dogs, cats, and fish. When I am at home, I have two wonderful Florida Brown dogs (mutts!) and in the past have fostered kittens, puppies, and dogs. When I am on the road for months at a time and my dogs are back at home, I try to get my pet fix by caring for others. I am happy to go on long walks with plenty of time to sniff, or just sit around and snuggle, whatever is needed. My routine is varied and flexible and can be customized to fit your needs. While sitting I’ll make sure to go on walks with your pup if needed. I’m always down for a long walk or jog with active dogs, playing with toys, or simply cuddling. I do not offer sits in my own home at this time. When sitting at your home, I will make sure to follow all of your requests, listen to what your pet needs, give them lots of attention and cuddles, and maintain good communication with you so that you know your pet(s) is/are in good hands!

In the afternoons and on my days off, you’ll often find us outside enjoying all the adventures Moab has to offer: hiking, running, biking, climbing, paddleboarding—you name it! When we’re not outside exploring, we’re just as happy relaxing with a feel-good movie and cozy couch cuddles. Tyler & Strawberry are high-energy girls who are always ready for playtime, though afternoon naps are some of their favorite moments too. They love making new friends—both four-legged and two-legged—and have big personalities to match. To make sure every stay is safe, happy, and enriching, I like to learn about each dog beforehand. We’ll chat about temperament, leash manners, socialization, and any unique behaviors so I can ensure it’s a great fit for everyone—including our girls Tyler & Strawberry. While we don’t have a fully fenced yard, your dog will still get plenty of outdoor time. We provide potty breaks every 1–4 hours (or more if needed), along with walks or afternoon runs to burn off energy. With your approval, I’d also LOVE to take your dog on adventures with our pack, exploring the beautiful mesas, mountains, and creeks around Moab. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to maintain that routine. If they’re potty-trained and comfortable having access to the home, they’re welcome to relax and roam freely. I will always follow your guidance regarding treats and feeding routines. You’re welcome to bring anything that helps your dog feel at home—favorite toys, blankets, or bedding. I also have three large dog beds and plenty of toys available. If your dog has any resource-guarding tendencies, I’m happy to remove toys during their stay to keep things calm and comfortable. All pets are fed separately and will always have access to fresh, clean water. I’m more than happy to accommodate any special care needs to ensure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement and gentle guidance, and you can trust that your pet will be treated with the same love, patience, and devotion as my own cherished family members. SCHEDULE: My partner Connor and I both work full-time from home, which allows us to give the dogs in our care plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. Dogs truly become part of our daily rhythm here, and your pup will be treated like one of our own while they stay with us. Our mornings typically begin with a potty break followed by breakfast. Afterward, the dogs enjoy some playtime to burn off any extra energy before settling in for a relaxing morning nap. Many mornings we like to start the day with an early hike or run, taking advantage of the beautiful trails around Moab. If we don’t get out first thing, we always make sure everyone gets outside later in the day for a walk or adventure. Afternoons are usually a calm time for lounging, relaxing, and midday potty breaks. In the evenings, the dogs enjoy dinner, some light playtime, and plenty of cozy couch snuggles before bedtime. Because we’re home throughout the day, we’re able to maintain consistent potty breaks, exercise, and companionship so your dog feels comfortable, safe, and part of the family during their stay. SAFETY: Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide attentive, personalized care and make sure every dog feels relaxed, secure, and truly at home during their stay. Because we work from home, your pup will receive plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day.
