Safety, trust & environment

I try to limit accepting clients into my home, as I run a busy household, not suitable for all. Therefore, I prefer to care for your pets in the comfort and safety of their (your) home. I prefer to set up a meet and greet with you, to meet your fur baby(s) and discuss their daily routine, feeding and/or medication schedules. This will ensure they are stress-free and comfortable in their home environment. *I understand travelers may have limited flexibility here. *please see more in my details/experience section.

Information Aubrey A. would like to know about your pet

Health concerns, allergies and behavior, prior to any meet and greet/booking is very important. Petsitters MUST know important details, prior to bookings, to ensure the safety of your pets, their own pets and themselves. Temperament and play type are good to know if you have a social dog who would like to engage in social activities, hiking, etc. Being a mom of Rescue, I fully appreciate the alteration of animals. This means your dog or cat is spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines. I completely understand some animals are in the young stages of life or have health conditions that do not allow this. -unaltered animals do not deter me, just something I appreciate! :)

A typical day

We love exploring our scenic areas, but also enjoy being homebodies with training exercises and playtime. Activities depend on your pet’s lifestyle and daily needs. I love my couch potato pups, up all night kitties and hiking dogs! *please see more in my details/experience section.

Pet care experience

Updated June 2026 Please Note: Rover is not the only source of my clientele, therefore I do book in advance! Thank you for your understanding. _______________________ Hello & thank you for being here. My name is Aubrey and I have been in the animal care profession and rescue world, for 19+ years. I work and volunteer very heavily, in animal rescue- sometimes we have a foster! I do everything I can to be accommodating to you and your pets, last-minute requests and schedule changes. Timelines and communication is extremely important, so we can all be set up for success. Full disclosure on your pets medical and behavioral needs, is a must. I’m very particular on my meet & greets and dog to dog introductions. Therefore, proper planning, communication and timeliness is important. I strive for a fun, laid-back, safe and comfortable experience for your pet(s). _________________________ My background consists of feline care at a rural Humane Society, doggy daycare in a major city, minor ranch (farm) work, caring for neonatal kittens, veterinary medicine in general practice for 7.5+ years and all the while, I have been involved with a number of rescue groups and served as a foster home, for many. I also have founded and operate a small non-profit, focussing on at-risk animals in the four corners region. I had a wonderful petsitting business in Ohio, for 11+ years, and made a cross-country move, only 3+ yrs ago. I do travel from UT - OH for clients, whose animals I have watched for generations. I offer exceptional care in terms of behavioral, medical and other special needs care. I have performed everything from drop-in visits at hotels, destination wedding animal care, to 3+ week long stays for full-coverage house, farm & petsitting needs. I have enjoyed developing relationships with veterinary hospital patients, pet sitting clients, rescue groups and other animal lovers. Every animal under my care, becomes a part of my family. Therefore, if building a relationship with your furbaby caretaker is a must, I'm your gal. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes, cats, ferrets, rabbits, horses, rats, and the cold-blooded. I showed Golden retrievers & Netherland dwarf rabbits as a youth, and grew up with horses. I have experience with medication administration of all kinds, including compounds, pills, insulin and allergy injections. Compresses and wound cleaning, are also comfortable treatments for me. I can administer SubQ fluids to ill or elderly patients, and have experience with tube feeding as well, with my regular neonatal kitten care. *Due to rural living, I must ensure my time is valued, as longer distance driving has become more relevant, client's travel/vacation plans change often, etc. *I am happy to discuss pricing, availability, care details, etc. Please feel free to reach out, as I am happy to work with you and your pet's needs. A Little About My Family: Our home consists of A 9 year old Australian Cattle Dog Mix, foster-fail A 7 year old goofball of energy bully mix, whom we found in the trash Our newest addition, a 2.5 year old cattle dog mix, who was an owner surrender & a cat that came with our previous house. I lost a 16 year old mixed breed and 11 year old kitty, in the last four years, who were the light of our life. Myself, my partner, three dogs and a cat enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle. We love exploring and traveling, whenever we can! I volunteer a high percentage of my time, performing TNR (cats), at spay & neuter clinics in Navajo Nation, in the four corners area and foster when I can. Please Note* I am very insistent on vaccinations, spay/neuter, flea/tick preventatives and scheduled meet & greets (via phone or in-person), prior to any booking. Please feel free to ask any questions! What you can expect, when booking with me: If you are seeking in-your-home animal care, I am 100% at your disposal of what your pet(s) need. Walk schedule, driven to grooming or vet appointments, medication administration, etc. I spend the night with them & it is truly 24/7 care. If you choose for your pet(s) to stay with me, in my home: Our schedule varies from a low-energy day indoors (as I work from home) with a fenced in yard, pups who like to play, etc., to camping (in a temperature controlled camper) off-grid with daily hikes and the great outdoors. What your pet's needs are and what you're open to, as an owner, is how I proceed with bookings. Aubrey is absolutely amazing! My partner and I are from Denver, Colorado headed out of town to Moab for some mountain biking and off-roading classes for the Bronco, and leaving Jagger and Kili with her gave us complete peace of mind. She was so fantastic with our two golden retrievers, and it was incredibly nice receiving all the wonderful photos and videos she sent us. Her big, grassy yard is a total dream, and the dogs absolutely loved running around in it. Aubrey is so kind, and you can instantly tell how much she genuinely loves taking care of dogs. We highly recommend her and will absolutely be coming back again. Thank you so much, Aubrey!

Aubrey was great! She watched my dog and my friend’s dog while we were in town to check out Canyonlands. She was super communicative and our dogs loved playing in her yard all day. They also had a great time with her resident pups. We will definitely rebook next time we come into town to check out the national parks!

Aubrey was excellent. She gave frequent updates and has a great understanding of different dog behaviors. We appreciated how quickly she was to communicate with, especially with not that many options in the Moab area. Aubrey was way too accommodating for our dog Charlie. She truly cares about the animals she takes in to her home. We will definitely use her again!
