About: I do not remember a time where my family did not have dogs. I have been taking care of dogs since I can remember and currently have a dog of my own. She has been one of the best things that has happened to me and I wouldn't trade her for the world. I love dogs and would enjoy being around them all of the time. It sounds like the best job ever! It makes my day so much better when I come home to my dogs and I definitely understand how important dogs are and how much of a difference they can have in a persons life. Since I got a dog who I called my own I wouldn't trade her for the world. I have moved to a different state for school and unfortunately could not bring my dog with me. I would love to spend time with your fur babies and treat them as my own! I am currently going to school full time, therefore I have a pretty flexible schedule that will allow me to spend quality time with your pups! I am in an apartment with a balcony, but my apartment does have a “dog park on site” with some room to run and get some energy out.

Pet care is a consistent and intentional part of my daily and weekly routine. I schedule my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, and any required medication to ensure pets receive reliable, timely care. I build in time for cleaning, monitoring behavior and health, and providing attention and enrichment so pets feel comfortable and secure. My priority is to create a calm, comfortable, and stress-free environment so pets feel secure and well cared for at all times. I also closely monitor pets for any changes in behavior, appetite, or health and communicate updates to owners promptly.

About: I am a recently retired correctional officer. I have been a lifelong dog and cat owner as well as being fortunate enough to work with animals most of my life. As a current dog owner, I understand how hard it is to find someone you can trust to take care of your beloved family member. We have been in the same situation with our dogs. Now that I am retired, I am fortunate enough to be able to do what I Iove and offer a dependable, safe and pleasing experience to others. Though we are unable to board, I am happy to walk, feed and provide company for your loved ones. Overnight stays on a limited basis are also available. Older animals as well as medical conditions are no problem. I look forward to providing your pet with lots of love and care. I am retired. My schedule is very flexible including last minute appointments, if available, for walking and visits to your house. Available for overnight stays on a limited basis. I will meet with you and your family member to discuss your expectations and needs, as well as any medication, feeding/potty schedules, habits, likes/dislikes, triggers, what to watch our for (birds, squirrels,etc.), etc.

“This was our first time using Roover and Carmelo was amazing. He even came over before our trip to meet us and Lana and get to know her. She instantly wanted to play with him and we knew it was going to be a great fit! He sent us photos multiple times a day and you could see she was having the best time and how happy she was with him there. We even joked that she might miss him more than us when we got home! We are rebooking him for our next trip as well and would recommend him to anyone needing their pets watched.”
