About: I love walking dogs- I get almost as excited as they do. I am a patient and attentive care-giver, ready to listen to every need of yours and your pet. I'll give your pet all the attention they want and deserve! I have had cats and dogs of my own for my whole life and I have taken care of friends' and neighbors' pets occasionally. I would really like to make dog walking and sitting a more regular part of my life by making my services more widely available. I love taking my dog on long hikes or walks and would love to do the same for yours! If your dog likes a hiking companion like mine does, that would be ideal, but I can also accommodate solo walks to fit your dog's needs. I am in school and have openings in my daily schedule for morning, mid-day, afternoon, or evening walks and check-ins. I'm available weekdays and weekends. I am happy to care for your pet in your home and follow instructions that will keep your pet safe and comfortable (i.e. supervise them in a fenced yard, keep them leashed, keep them separate from other dogs if necessary). I live in a rental that does not permit other dogs at the moment so I will be happy to take care of pets in their own homes.

About: In the past year Ive started volunteering at the Humane Society outside Missoula working with dogs and working on my dog handling skills. Along with basic training skills. Growing up with pet dogs all my life Ive had small and large dogs so Im familiar with both. And understand they they both require different approaches to things as big dogs might like long runs in the feild whereas smaller dogs might like a slower walk around the block. I've also picked up the new hobby of making homemade dog treats for the dogs in my family all the treats are made with organic ingredients like apple sauce, carrots and cinnamon, and sometimes mint to help fight bad breath. In my family we have a dog with a allergy to chicken so I'm pretty familiar with dog allergies and some special needs.

Hello, my name is Elena and to put it quite simply, animals are my life! I’ve had animals for as long as I can remember, mainly cats and dogs. If you know me, you know I will stop and say hi (and hopefully pet) any cat or dog I meet! I currently work from Wednesday-Saturday, 7/8h a day, and since I cannot take long breaks at work, if your pet needs a shorter potty break then I might not be the right fit for you! On my free time I enjoy biking, walking around town, going on hikes and cooking. I cannot take in pets at my home, but I can dog/cat sit and go on walks! It goes without saying that I will treat your home as if it were mine :)

About: 20+ years of animal care experience including multiple rounds of tending to litters of stray kittens while growing up - much to my Dad's chagrin at the time ;) I had the honor of rehabilitating my old rescue dog to help him resolve some of his behavior issues from his prior life so I love lending a patient heart and mind to more sensitive pets or those who need a little more affection. I love to dog walk, hang with cats, and I love to meet their people! I have a fairly flexible work schedule typically between 7:00am-3:30pm and am available to do earlier walks, lunchtime walks, afternoon/evening walks and pet-sit at your house on a fairly flexible basis. While caring for your pets, I keep in my mind that they are family first and am happy to follow your guidance with respect to instructions, their/your preferences, and meet them where they are in terms of the amount of affection they like to receive. I want them and you to feel as comfortable as possible when you cannot be together!

About: I've had dogs and cats in my family my whole life and have been pet sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors, as well as my own, since I was a kid! I’m comfortable giving medications and have experience with pets of all ages, including seniors. I have a pug of my own, so I totally understand how much our pets mean to us—they’re family. About: I have cared for pets my whole life, often living with 2-3 dogs as well as cats and rodents. I’ve walked, washed, brushed and administered medication to many dogs over my life. In 2021 I underwent a dog obedience course to understand how to better communicate with my own dogs and those skills still help me to this day. I am often house sitting and pet watching for friends and family. Every pet is an important part of our families and home life and it’s vital to have people we can trust looking after our loved ones while we are out and about. I promise to treat your pet friend with the same love and care I would give my own and look forward to meeting your dogs in the future. The winter is my off season so I have a lot of flexibility in watching your animals. My days are open so I can structure them around your pets needs. Every dog is different and I always will do my best to make sure your pet friend is comfortable when I come to check on them at your home or when taking them out on a walk.
