“Maddisyn was great with our dogs, we would (and will) book her again! We could tell she’s spent a lot of time with pets, which really made leaving our pups alone so much easier. One of our dogs is aging and needs some more care; she was very attentive to our sweet old man. Great sitter!”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have had cats as well, so I'm comfortable with both. Most recently I've been the go-to sitter for my neighbor's cat during her extended trips away — sometimes up to a month at a time. Animals tend to be at ease around me, and I bring the same calm, unhurried attention to pet care that I do to everything else. Your pet will be well looked after and genuinely enjoyed, not just managed. I’m reliable, quiet, respectful of your home, and happy to follow detailed instructions for your pet’s care. I work from home on a flexible, part-time basis, which means I'm around most of the day and can give pets consistent attention and company. I'm available for drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week with good advance notice. I'm attentive, calm, and take pet care seriously. For in-home sitting I treat your space with care and keep everything exactly as you'd want it. I'm comfortable with a range of pets and temperaments, and I'll communicate with you regularly so you always know how your pet is doing.
“Daisy loved her trip out with Laurie, she loved how responsive Laurie was to her needs (letting her stop and sniff the roses.) I loved how thorough she was in wanting to get to know Daisy before heading out and how comfortable I feel booking her again.”

About: Hi, my name is a Nevaeh and I am a nineteen year old who hasn't had one moment in my life where I wasn't surrounded by animals. From being five years old with my grandma's grouchy old cat, to my cousin's place with two dogs and four cats, to being nine and getting my own cat and dog. I am no stranger to big dogs wanting to play like puppies, little dogs with attitudes twice their size and cats being, well, cats. Every time I meet a new animal, I make it a point to introduce myself to them directly. Even sitting down on the ground to be on their level and let them come to me. I want to take care of them, why wouldn't I let them decide they like me? Currently, I work part time Friday through Monday (With Sundays open) and then have Tuesday through Thursdays open. This might change, it might not. I am looking for a full time job. But if I can fit a pet in, I will. As I said, I grew up with several dogs and cats. So I am aware every one is different and requires different care. And much like my banner alludes to, I am a pre-vet student. I'd love to take all the animal experience I can gain. If you have certain requirements for your pet, I can absolutely abide to them.

About: I’ve always grown up in a household with pets. From dogs and cats, to rodents and reptiles. For small animals or reptile requests, please message me to discuss pricing! I’ve created special bonds with each and every animal, and always love meeting new little friends while i’m out and about. I’ve dealt with special needs from pets such as medications for allergies, anxiety and fear, reactivity, and more. I also spent about a year working in a local pet store where I learned in depth about pet nutrition and supplements, as well as just the basic reasons as to why animals do what they do. I now work at a local animal shelter, so I am experienced working alongside a variety of temperaments, social ability, and sizes! I work full time, but am happy to take on any additional duties outside or around my working schedule. I currently work a set schedule, so I can reliably be available at the same times of day for your pets. I’m available before and after work most days, so if your animal is used to a typical 9-5 lifestyle, we will be a good match. While I’m traveling to your home to meet your fur babies, I’m happy to accommodate whatever you request! One of my pups at home has many special needs and requirements, so I am used to the more hands-on style of pet parenting. Both of my dogs are 50+ lbs, so I am used to large dogs, though I work alongside many small pets in my line of work as well. At my job I routinely work with veterinarians, so I am comfortable administering medications of many kinds. I also have two crested geckos at home that I care for! 🦎 My little lizards have taught me patience, as earning a gecko’s trust is not easy! I vow to be patient and kind working with whatever your pet’s needs may be.
“Kayla was great hiking my dogs! She went above and beyond, and they had such a great time. She communicated so well and asked great questions so they had the best experience possible.”
“August took care of Rex so well! He listened to my concerns about his health and gave Rex all the love he could get while I was working! I definitely recommend him to everyone!”

“Molly was patient and kind with my little Winston, who is a bit cautious about meeting new people. I appreciate Molly’s calm demeanor and her confidence in dealing with a nervous pup.”

“Brianna was friendly and helped me out in a pinch! She was responsive, caring and communicated excellently. The girls fell in love and warmed up to her. I would recommend and will reach out again if/when I need. Thank you!”

For house pet-sitting I’m flexible to when I am free so reach out and ask about my availability! I respect the home I care for the dogs in and respect the rules set for their pets. I also have experience working with many types of animals I have worked at zoos and animal care facilities providing daily diet, care, and enrichment for a number of animals. “Lucy is wonderful! She did two walks a day for my Golden Retriever while I was out of town! He loves her and would wait by the front door for her each time! She is so sweet and accommodating!”

“This was my first time using Rover.com. My dog Marco and I had a great experience! We met Casey for a meet and greet prior to the dog walk. I was very impressed with Casey's professionalism. Casey helped answer all my questions about the service and tips for using the app. Love the Rover card. Even received a picture of my dog on the walk. Marco said he likes Casey and would definitely enjoy another walk or visit. Will plan on scheduling soon!”

Oh my word, did I luck out picking Elizabeth (Betsy) to check in on and walk my 2 crazy pups. I just moved here from Virginia and my dogs are far from perfectly behaved, but she had such patience and understanding for them and such a gentle, loving and happy vibe. I was never concerned and she left such detailed reports that I knew they were in the right hands. I can't wait for the next time my babies have the pleasure of her company. Thank you! Would hire again without a second thought!

Brian was a lifesaver as we were visiting family in Missoula! He came for a meet and greet and our dogs took to him immediately, we have one who is a little skittish and she laid down at his feet within a few minutes. Brian was dependable, on time, very communicative, sent lots of pictures. Our two pups were very happy! Thanks Brian!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
