About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, I have even helped rescue a few dogs! I have experience in dog and house sitting. I am working part time currently so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. I am trying to get 10k steps everyday so being able to walk dogs will make it 100x more enjoyable. I make sure dogs are comfortable with my presence and are able to relax as if they were with their owners still. I make sure to follow instructions that are provided for the best experience possible.

About: My family has always had animals and I’ve always enjoyed taking care of them. From dogs to rabbits, I’ve learned how each animal communicates its needs and how to fulfill those needs. I’m currently on summer break from law school so I have plenty of time to fulfill any pet owner’s needs at any time that’s convenient for them. I live in an apartment surrounded by walkways and a trail that runs along the bitterroot river, great for dogs or animals that enjoy walks.

About: Ive been fortunate enough to grow up with dogs and cats in the house my whole life! Friends and family have reached out to me for the bulk of my life for house sitting and pet sitting needs. I love the outdoors and find a lot of dogs are the perfect companion to have by your side in the wilderness! Currently only working part time leaving me plenty of time to hangout with your furry friends! I have a lot of spots in town I like to hike at and love bringing dogs along with me. I love spending time just playing and hanging out with animals to keep me busy throughout the day as well! I really try to match the routine of the owners for the pets so they don’t get too stressed out being gone from you! I have animals of my own and know how important it is to want your animals to be in good hands and not having to stress about them not enjoying their time away from you.

About: I am a responsible individual who will take wonderful care of your pets. I have experience pet sitting for individuals with large and small pets, including dogs and cats. I enjoy spending time outside, so taking your pets on walks and playing with them will help them burn their energy, settle their nerves, and enjoy their time with me. I am home for the summer from college, and I am looking for a job where I can take care of pets and spend time with them. I enjoy pet sitting and being able to take care of animals to hopefully allow them to be more comfortable while the owners are away. From my work over the summer, I am hoping to put my earnings back into my education when I move back to college in the fall. I will care for your pets by being engaged while exercising and playing with them, and keeping them on a leash if/when the pets are outside of the yard. In addition, I will always make sure the animals get their medications if necessary and have ample and suitable water and food for any time they are alone.

I currently am a full time law school student and teach dance, but I am almost always home or out and about for short stints to be with your fury friend throughout their entire stay to take them out, refill their water, and play with them. I have a gated yard, a nice walking neighborhood, and I am very flexible, just ask! I will always give your babies all the same love as our own dogs! You babies will never be alone for more than 3 hours at a time. I a very flexible and can do anything just need to ask and confirm. I am organized and even though I a busy, we can plan and fit things in that work for you! I love taking my doggies on walks. I don’t care about animals being on any furniture and are allowed anywhere in the house! Your dog(s) will never be left alone more than 3 hours at a time. I am home frequently between my schedule to walk, take the dogs out, and feed them. I let your doggies play with ours and cuddle whenever. About: Thought I'd try this app out to make an extra buck. I am a lover of all pets, well maybe not spiders. I grew up in the remote country of Wisconsin, with a bunch of farm animals, as well as cats and dogs. Growing up with pets, and farm animals is crucial for knowing animals. I'm always taking my roommates dog for walks, and to the dog park. We have a big fenced in yard in the heart of Missoula. Meru (my roommates female dog) is really friendly and loves all other cats and dogs. I would focus my energy on your dogs and cats of course, but if Meru and your dogs cross paths they'll be best friends for the day. Hope to hear from you, and lend a helping hand with your best friends. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I make sure pets get plenty of attention throughout the day — not just quick check-ins. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, walks, and companionship while keeping a calm, clean environment. I also make time for photo/video updates so owners always know how their pets are doing. I enjoy building routines around each pet’s individual needs and personality. I care for every pet like they’re my own and focus heavily on safety, comfort, cleanliness, and communication. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special needs so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, clean environment with plenty of supervision, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and space to relax. I always introduce pets carefully and prioritize safety at all times. In clients’ homes, I respect their routines and instructions closely to help pets stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I keep feeding schedules, walks, litter boxes, medications, and daily care consistent while also providing regular photo and video updates for peace of mind. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Oh my word, did I luck out picking Elizabeth (Betsy) to check in on and walk my 2 crazy pups. I just moved here from Virginia and my dogs are far from perfectly behaved, but she had such patience and understanding for them and such a gentle, loving and happy vibe. I was never concerned and she left such detailed reports that I knew they were in the right hands. I can't wait for the next time my babies have the pleasure of her company. Thank you! Would hire again without a second thought!

About: My family has rescued different kinds of dogs ever since I was born and am a big dog lover. I am allergic to cats, I can be within the facility just no petting. I would prefer to find some dog families that I can form a connection with! My schedule consists of working 7am till 3pm Monday through Friday every week. I do have fixable time during my lunch hours. I am flexible on weekends or when needed, hopefully we can make something work! I grew up training my dogs to do the basics. I grew up as dogs bro no an extension of the family and love all types of dogs!

Merissa was wonderful. When we met for our interview, she was very organized, intuitive and friendly. I got the impression of competence - and after our puppy's first day of walks, I was not disappointed - I was updated with photos and a walk map - when my wife got home, the puppy was happy and there were no accidents in the house. I would definitely call her again and I highly recommend her.

About: I’ve had a lot of experience caring for animals of all kinds- but mostly dogs! I’ve been dog sitting and dog walking for over 10 years, and have worked through dog walking companies such as Rover for 3 years as I’ve been moving around for university. I have three dogs myself and really have a heart for these animals! I’m excited to meet your pet (: I am available full time for the next 3 1/2 weeks before I move away again for my school semester to start. Available anytime of day week or weekend! I live outside of town, on a large grassy mountain! We do not have a fence, so dog must be leash trained well. There are few cars that drive the road where I live so jogs/ walks along the road/mountain trails out my backdoor are generally how visitors get their activity in.

About: Hello! I am currently spending my summer in Moose working for Dornan's ranch. I would love to watch your pets in my free time! I have completed a Veterinary Technician course in which I administered medication and learned the proper care for smaller animals. I am more than happy to travel to your home to watch it/your pet as well. My schedule does vary, but for the most part I am working mornings and would be home around 5pm. I can work around my schedule to fit your needs, so just let me know what is most convenient for you. I am able to create or follow a consistent schedule just like you already have, making sure they have regular meals, play sessions, and quiet time to rest.

About: I work at an elementary school monday-friday with students. I love dogs, the outdoors, and looking to make extra money for travels. My parents have a dog, but they live 1500 miles away and I miss walking, running, and taking the pup to the park. I grew up always having a dog at home, they are the best souls! I am responsible, patient, and very friendly! Besides dogs, I love music, sports, and hiking. I would love to help you out and take great care of your best friend! I work mon-fri during school hours. I am available on weekends and nights! I have time to take care of the dogs during the night and weekends as well as mornings if I am in-home sitting. I am very attentive to dogs and love being in their company whether that's on a trail or the couch! Each dog has a different personality and I am very adaptable as they all have a little bit of different need.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
