“Annika was great! We had to reach out last minute and she was quick to respond and help out. She had great communication throughout the entire stay as well. Our pup came back a happy girl :)”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for a beloved elderly dog! Carmen sent us lots of updates and we could tell that Maddy was having a great time. Can’t wait to use Carmen again!”
About: With a lifelong background in animal husbandry, I possess extensive experience providing dedicated care for many ages and breeds of dogs and cats. I have taken care of pets of all ages and am comfortable with both new puppies and senior animals. I currently have a full time job as a mechanical engineer and travel frequently for work. As such, I don't own any pets (aside from fish), but would like to have them around during the weekends. With over 20 acres of open property and direct access to the Bitterroot River, your dog will enjoy abundant outdoor exercise strictly on a leash for maximum safety. When indoors, I utilize secure dog crates for pets that require them to ensure a structured, peaceful environment during downtime or feeding. By combining expansive, supervised outdoor leashed walks with a structured indoor routine, I create a trustworthy and secure sanctuary for your pet.
“Aderley was the perfect fit for my puppy. She was patient, loving, caring, and updated us. Im so grateful we found her on this program. It was so comforting to know my dog was being taken care of while we were away. Thank you so much.”

“Lauren and Jeff were great! They were friendly and took good care of our dogs and we will definitely use them again. The dogs basically had a dog party vacation! Thank you!”

“Lucy was a phenomenal sitter! She watched my dog for a week while I was out of town. She is very kind a competent. I had complete trust in her while I was away. I would not hesitate to leave my girl with her again in the future!”

“Our Bobo is a rescue dog who had never been apart from us. Kayla was concerned about every detail of his care and kept us updated as he adjusted to new surroundings.”

About: Hello! A bit about me: my name is Elena and I’ve had animals for as long as I can remember, mainly cats and dogs. If you know me, you know I will stop and say hi (and hopefully pet) any cat or dog I meet! Both my partner and I have grown up with animals and would love to welcome your pets in our home. My partner and I can coordinate our schedules so potty breaks can be every 4 hours or less when we both are home during our days off! We don’t have any pets at home, so rest assured that all our energy will go towards taking care of your pet! We have a lovely fenced backyard and live in a very quiet neighborhood, close to many amenities and parks!

“Fernie had such a good time, and the property is perfect for a high energy dog like Fernie to romp around and enjoy the views. Good communication and updates the entire time :)”

“Jessica was very nice and caring with my sweet girl Stella 🎀 I didn't think my dog was ready to go home with me after having so much fun! lol, I will definitely book her services again. Thank you! Jess again, for taking care of my little friend.”

“We are first time puppy owners so we were a bit nervous leaving our dog with a sitter for the first time, but Mabel’s kind energy instantly put our nerves at ease. She gave us regular updates, sent us lot of pictures and videos, and even took her on hikes and fun adventures! Highly recommend her!!!”

About: I have trained one dog since she was 6 weeks old and is now 7. I also have a rescued abused dog that I trained that is 2.5 now. I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I work full-time but can frequently stop by to take care of your pet. I love walks as well and playing fetch (or whatever your pet prefers). I would stop by at least 3 times a day and walk at least twice. For now, I will not house pets more than 2 pets in my home due to limited space. When you book me, I would love detailed information on what you expect from me!
“I've known Eva for a few years now and can vouch for her completely. She's the person who stops to say hi to every dog on the trail, and she spends her free time at the humane society with the dogs who need the attention most. This past weekend, I had her watch my pup, Logan (11), at her house while I was out of town, and he had the best time! He went on multiple hikes and walks, got to go out to Blue Mountain, and even got in the river. He was so happy when I picked him up and slept hard that whole evening. Logan is a senior, so I'm always a little nervous leaving him with someone new. Eva paid attention to what he actually needed and never pushed him past what he could handle. She checked in with photos and updates while I was gone, which was a huge relief. He also got along great with her own dog, Pete. Outside of the animal stuff, she's reliable and super easy to communicate with. Your pet will be in very good hands. I've already booked her for my next trip!”

“Naomi was pleasant as always, This is the second time she has been able to watch my dog while I was out of town for nearly a week and she did a wonderful job. Naomi would always send photos and updates of how Aspen was doing while I'm away. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job Naomi, we all really appreciate it. Until next time...”

“Jillian was amazing and truly went above and beyond for me when it came to taking care of Muffin. So thankful for them and will absolutely use them again for future needs”

About: * 2 night min boarding * In my family, we always had a dog around. Then, as an adult, I got my very own .. a Yorkie! The only thing keeping me from getting another dog was how hard it was to say goodbye to my lil guy after 14 years. Instead, I get regular doses of love and connection from my guests' dogs (I run a glamping cabins resort called "The Hohnstead" -- plenty of reviews showing my genuine character and love for dogs there), and now, Rover. * 2 night/day minimum * My glamping cabin resort called The Hohnstead season is winding down so I have plenty of time to hike and play with your doggo. As an active and fit person, a day without 10k steps isn't a proper day at all so I'd love to take your dog along for the walk. It's just my wife and I at our home. No kids, no other dogs. I have a fenced area that includes our garden. That said, we also have 100 acres and only my parents as neighbors thus the daily walking/hiking.
“Can’t say enough about what a positive experience our pup had with Bre and her dog Maggie. Great communication, flexible on schedule, and attentive care. Thank you!”

About: I've never pet sit professionally but have helped friends out a lot for many years. I've had my own pet throughout my whole life, including a cat currently. All animals seem to love me as much as I love them. I've been told by many people that their dog usually don't like people, when they come right to me. I'm currently unemployed which gives me plenty of time for your fur babies! I'm able to board, visit or stay with your babies. I have a fenced yard with a dog door into the office. I also have a crate if needed. I love to play fetch and go on walks with the puppers!
The median cost per night for pet boarding in Lolo is $50
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lolo
Gabrielle took such good care of our dog and new puppy! She went on walks down by the river, played with the dogs, and sent us pictures throughout the day so we could see how they were doing. We definitely trust Gabrielle and highly recommend her. She is just wonderful. Thank you for everything you did to make our dogs happy. Our oldest dog, Tucker, didn't want to leave Gabrielle's house when we came to pick up the dogs after our trip. A true testament to how well they were treated. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
