About: I recently lost our 12 year old dog, Kona. I am not quite ready for a full time dog of our own, but would love to care for yours! Kona gave me experience from young dogs full of energy, to seniors needing more quiet and rest. Dogs will be given much attention and love! I live close to trails/open space and are able to provide your dog daily walks. I have two children that also love to help! Potty trained is preferable. I currently work two days a week, home by 3 PM. I live next to lots of trails and open space and enjoy walking daily. I have a fenced backyard to keep your dog safe. I have plenty of space inside and outside of our house for your dog to feel comfortable.

Ben told me about some of his regulars that he watches, and that they would be coming when Steel wad there. From the moment we drove up for the Meet and Greet we knew we hit the jackpot! They had a dog friendly house (2 dogs of their own), a dog door, a fenced yard that backed up to a golf course, and 2 daughters who love dogs. Ginger was walked every day away from homes and roads and seemed to make herself at home right away. We appreciated the daily photos and captions that made us completely at ease leaving her. We would choose them again in a heartbeat.
I've known Eva for a few years now and can vouch for her completely. She's the person who stops to say hi to every dog on the trail, and she spends her free time at the humane society with the dogs who need the attention most. This past weekend, I had her watch my pup, Logan (11), at her house while I was out of town, and he had the best time! He went on multiple hikes and walks, got to go out to Blue Mountain, and even got in the river. He was so happy when I picked him up and slept hard that whole evening. Logan is a senior, so I'm always a little nervous leaving him with someone new. Eva paid attention to what he actually needed and never pushed him past what he could handle. She checked in with photos and updates while I was gone, which was a huge relief. He also got along great with her own dog, Pete. Outside of the animal stuff, she's reliable and super easy to communicate with. Your pet will be in very good hands. I've already booked her for my next trip!
Mila clearly enjoys her time with Nicole. Our dog is very active and Nicole makes sure she gets out on the trails and uses up her energy. This is our second time bringing Mila to Nicole and we are so happy we have someone in Missoula to bring her to when we are in town/passing through.
