Kenneth was great! He was so accommodating and welcoming and his family is so sweet. He even had a dog bed and a few toys prepared with a "Welcome Molly" sign on it! haha He sent an update during Molly's stay with him and it reassured me that she was doing well. I highly recommend Kenneth! Will definitely book again if I ever need a dog sitter in the future.

Megan and Matt are great! Maeve had such a great time. She got so much exercise which is important to me and her, as she is a high energy breed! I love all the photos they sent of her on hikes and walks. 10/10 would book again.

Emma was absolutely amazing with Jasper! She took him on a good hike everyday and sent lots of beautiful pictures. He and Brody looked to be great friends and I felt bad breaking them up to take Jasper home. I loved that she was able to be with him so much her having a teleworking job. I would totally use her again!

Our host was wonderful with koda bear, my German Shepherd. They took him on walks and even on a hike, which he absolutely loved. It was clear that koda bear was well cared for and had a great time during his stay. I appreciated the updates and the attention they gave him. He came home happy and tired from all the fun. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

Kerry and her family are amazing! They watched our dogs for a long weekend and both dogs were so relaxed and chill when they came home. It was clear that their needs were well taken care of and that they got a lot of love while they were at Kerry's place. Can't ask for anything more than that. Kerry also kept us highly entertained with a bunch of sweet and goofy pics. Which also meant we had no worries.

We have never had a anything but great experiences with Rover but Teresa was the absolute BEST! Gracie, who is pretty high strung and doesn’t take to just anyone, immediately felt comfortable with her. Teresa’s easy manner and obvious love of dogs made leaving Gracie with her so comforting! She took her swimming (not once but twice!) and sent photos throughout her stay. I highly recommend Teresa. I’d give her six stars if I could.

I appreciated that Nicole made herself readily available for me and my pup to meet her and her dogs before dog sitting for extra peace of mind. Her home is dog friendly with a doggy door to her yard and a plus that she didn’t mind my dog going on the bed.

Memo was WONDERFUL! I have a two year old border collie who is extremely high energy. Memo really took the time, and went the extra mile to WEAR. HIM. OUT. She was very sweet with our dog, and took care of him as if he were her own. Memo seemed very intuitive to our dogs needs, and adjusted things so he would be more comfortable. Memo was very commutative, and gave wonderful pupdates! Our dog had a freaking blast, and I'm extremely grateful we booked with Memo. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! I would definitely use Leah again and felt super comfortable about her taking care of my buddy. Highly recommended. Thank you Leah-from both of us! You're awesome!

About: I have previously owned Labradoodles so I have 18 years of experience with high energy dogs. I also have experience in taking care of dogs who require extra medical care. I love to walk, hike and go for runs with dogs but most importantly, I can give them love and attention while you are away. I am retired and looking for the opportunity to assist you in the care of your furry friends while you are working and or traveling. I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your needs. I have a large fences back yard, with no pets of my own. At night I have a mud room for your dog to comfortably sleep in or if needed a pad to lay in a bedroom.

About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family. My current dog Ron has some special care needs which has taught me to be patient and sensitive to pups who need a little extra care and attention. I would love to welcome your furry buddy into our home and would treat them like another member of the family. I currently work from home so am able to give your pup lots of attention and exercise. I also am a very active person and love to frequent the local trails if that is something you would like for your pup. I have a fenced front and back yard and a dog door that can be locked if need be. I have multiple dog beds and also allow dogs on the furniture (I of course will not allow it if it’s a behavior you don’t want your dog to learn). Like I said, I consider them to be part of the family.

Annika is the most kind and compassionate Rover we’ve interacted with. We were in a pinch with a previous sitter falling through and she willingly helped us out last minute. She was also an amazing communicator, shared regular updates, and made us feel at ease living our pup with her. Annika has a very calming presence and our firework-anxious pup did very well with her over July 4th weekend. Highly recommend and am already looking for another time to book her.

Gabrielle took such good care of our dog and new puppy! She went on walks down by the river, played with the dogs, and sent us pictures throughout the day so we could see how they were doing. We definitely trust Gabrielle and highly recommend her. She is just wonderful. Thank you for everything you did to make our dogs happy. Our oldest dog, Tucker, didn't want to leave Gabrielle's house when we came to pick up the dogs after our trip. A true testament to how well they were treated. Thank you!

Will was a great sitter! He took our dog on a hikes and down to the water. And even taught him to swim (or gave him more confidence in the water). Our dog can be a little shy but he was patient and was able to get him comfortable. Rip came home happy and tired from all the play!

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Bonner home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
