“Megan and Matt took amazing care of my two dogs! They took them on a hike everyday and made them feel comfortable in their home. Marley is 15 so it’s always hard for me to leave him but they were so patient with him and even hiked with him in his backpack! They also sent pictures every day and I really enjoyed that. About: I've been taking care of dogs (and cats) ever since I can remember. Starting with my family who always had dogs, I was often responsible for taking them on walks, feeding/caring for them, etc.. Later, I became the go to pet sitter in my hometown neighborhood and got a dog of my own. I genuinely enjoy this type of work and do my best to make sure the dogs I'm with remain well taken care of. They deserve only the best.--As I know from personal experience, they are family too. I am only working part time for the summer/fall season, and therefore, have ample time for pet sitting. My job is quite flexible and I can be available most days for walking and evenings for house sitting. I am happy to follow whatever guidelines suit your needs for house sitting-- whether you keep them out, crate them, or only allow them to wander certain areas of your living space, I'll be sure to follow suit. --Whatever is helpful for both your dog and yourself to feel most comfortable.

About: I have been taking care of pets for many years, starting at a young age watching neighbor dogs. I have cared for a variety of types of animals, but have to admit I am dog crazy! Senior dogs are especially dear to my heart. I have a senior chihuahua who gets along with other dogs. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as I used to own a highly reactive pit mix. My schedule is very flexible. I work part time and know my schedule about a week or so in advance. When I’m not working as a nanny, I’m at home working on my art! Pets who stay with me will likely be spoiled rotten. Dogs allowed on the furniture in this home! I have a small alley home and a partially fenced yard. Walks or trail hikes through out the day are a favorite around here!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I raised my Lab, Oakley, for 14 years and recently raised and trained my puppy, Gus, who is now one. I’ve also spent years house-sitting for families with pets and regularly boarding a friend’s dog multiple times a year. For years, I had two full-grown Labs at home, so I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. I know how important it is to find someone who will follow your instructions, respect your dog’s routine, and provide the same level of care and attention you would at home. My goal is to make you feel completely comfortable leaving your pup with me, knowing they’ll be loved, well cared for, and treated just like I’d want someone to care for my own dog. I understand how much trust goes into choosing a sitter, and I take that responsibility seriously! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. Our days already include morning fetch and playtime at the park, midday tug-of-war or indoor play, and evening walks. I’m occasionally out running errands or getting a workout in, but I’m typically not gone for long. Between my flexible schedule, fenced yard, and dog door, pups have plenty of opportunities for fresh air, play, and downtime throughout the day. I love incorporating dogs into my routine and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need! I have a fenced yard, a dog door for easy outdoor access, and a park right across the street, so there are plenty of opportunities for fresh air, exercise, and play. My dog, Gus, is very friendly and loves having other dogs around, and I’ll always prioritize safe introductions and making sure everyone gets along. I tailor care to each dog’s personality, needs, and your preferences. I’m happy to follow your routines and instructions, whether that means specific feeding times, walks, or other care requirements. For park visits, I prefer to keep dogs leashed unless they have reliable recall and are safe to have off leash in an appropriate area. At home, dogs are welcome on the couch, but we don’t allow them on our bed, and our dogs sleep in their own beds. I prefer dogs who are comfortable being left alone for short periods without a crate, but I can accommodate crate-trained dogs when needed. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable home where your dog feels welcome and cared for, while keeping you informed and respecting the routines you have established.
