About: I have been taking care of pets for many years, starting at a young age watching neighbor dogs. I have cared for a variety of types of animals, but have to admit I am dog crazy! Senior dogs are especially dear to my heart. I have a senior chihuahua who gets along with other dogs. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as I used to own a highly reactive pit mix. My schedule is very flexible. I work part time and know my schedule about a week or so in advance. When I’m not working as a nanny, I’m at home working on my art! Pets who stay with me will likely be spoiled rotten. Dogs allowed on the furniture in this home! I have a small alley home and a partially fenced yard. Walks or trail hikes through out the day are a favorite around here!
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I raised my Lab, Oakley, for 14 years and recently raised and trained my puppy, Gus, who is now one. My goal is to make you feel completely comfortable leaving your pup with me, knowing they’ll be loved, well cared for, and treated just like I’d want someone to care for my own dog. Our days already include morning fetch and playtime at the park, midday tug-of-war or indoor play, and evening walks. I’m occasionally out running errands or getting a workout in, but I’m typically not gone for long. Between my flexible schedule, fenced yard, and dog door, pups have plenty of opportunities for fresh air, play, and downtime throughout the day. For park visits, I prefer to keep dogs leashed unless they have reliable recall and are safe to have off leash in an appropriate area. At home, dogs are welcome on the couch, but we don’t allow them on our bed, and our dogs sleep in their own beds. I prefer dogs who are comfortable being left alone for short periods without a crate, but I can accommodate crate-trained dogs when needed. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable home where your dog feels welcome and cared for, while keeping you informed and respecting the routines you have established.
