About: Animals have been a constant in my life since childhood. I've loved and cared for many pets of my own - dogs, cats, ferrets, small animals, reptiles, birds, and fish - which has given me hands-on experience with everything from syringe feeding to crate, house, and litter box training to medical and senior care. I've fostered rescues, volunteered at the Humane Society, worked in pet stores, and looked after friends' and neighbors' pets many times over the years. About: I have been working at a dog kennel for the past 2 years now, and I absolutely love it! My responsibilities include walking dogs, feeding, cleaning, and administering medication. I feel very comfortable around all kinds of dogs, and I know how to properly work with dogs with different personalities and needs. I work at the dog kennel 3-4 days a week but I am available in the morning, evenings, and overnight if needed. On the days I do not work I am available all day to walk and socialize with pets. I have a trip planned in August, so July and September are more open for me. In my home I have two dogs who are friendly and love company, we also have a big yard and lots of cozy dog beds. My Rigby does accompany me on any overnight sits, but I am happy to provide one on one attention for walks or drop in visits! I walked dogs for a few months in college and regularly dog sat for a cane corso back on the east coast, helped raise a lab from 4 months to 2 years, and enjoyed many Rover pups last summer! My schedule is flexible and I’d love to fill it with furry friends! My dog and I walk daily in greenough park and also enjoy Sgt. Bozo dog park in the early afternoon or evenings now that the weather has gotten hotter. We love to hike when we can and enjoy time on the river or my paddle board! We’d love to include your pup on our adventures! I am happy to dedicate time solely to your fur baby on walks and drop ins, but my dog Rigby would have to be able to tag along for any house sits. He is extremely well mannered and socialized and has helped train a few young dogs! Since I will either be walking or staying with your dog in your space, I am happy to accommodate any of their needs! If they prefer to be crated at any time, if they need to walk on a certain leash, require any medication or treats, whatever your pup needs to be the most comfortable and safely cared for!

About: Animals have been a constant in my life since childhood. I've loved and cared for many pets of my own - dogs, cats, ferrets, small animals, reptiles, birds, and fish - which has given me hands-on experience with everything from syringe feeding to crate, house, and litter box training to medical and senior care. I've fostered rescues, volunteered at the Humane Society, worked in pet stores, and looked after friends' and neighbors' pets many times over the years. I'm attentive, calm, and protective, with a deep respect for all living beings. When you trust me with your pet, you can count on them being safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I'm home throughout the week so pets in my care are never left unsupervised and get plenty of attention, interaction, and companionship. If there are any daytime hours where I may need to be away from home, that will always be communicated clearly with owners ahead of time during scheduling. I have two small dogs and a cat of my own, so I'm very mindful about maintaining a calm environment, always paying close attention to the comfort, boundaries, and safety of each animal. My one-level home has a fully fenced backyard where pets enjoy supervised outdoor time for play, exercise, and potty breaks. Pets in my care are treated like members of the family, and because I prioritize consistent supervision and safety, I do not offer off-property pack walks during boarding stays.
