“This is an excellent property if you’re leaving your pooch for a few days. Lots of space with an excellent care provider. Sarah kept us updated with activity reports and (fantastic) photos. We will absolutely bring Duke back here again!”

“I could not be more pleased with Kerry and her family’s care for Maggie Mae. Kerry sent me pictures and messages every day. She took Maggie on outings and allowed her to play with her little girls. I highly recommend Kerry and her family to care for your dog.”

“Brianne did great with our pup! She took him on walks and sent us lots of updates. He seemed happy and was well taken care of. We would use her again!”

“The experience with Jennifer was great! She watched my 17 year old dog for 2 weeks while I was out of town. She sent regular check-ins and was able to handle the "old dog" care he needed including daily medication, extra-frequent bathroom breaks, and help with stairs/general mobility. I highly recommend Jennifer to watch your pet and will definitely use her in the future if the need arises. PS Not only was she great with my dog, she was amazing to my 2.5 year old when we dropped him off and picked up. Thanks Jennifer!”

“Emma is extraordinary, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Cleo got tons of snuggles, comfortable lounging time, and plenty of exercise. She got long walks on her favorite trails and playtime with Emma’s dog, Brody. Emma is very experienced and confidently handled Cleo’s personality quirks and occasional reactivity. She also sent detailed updates and absolutely gorgeous photos. I would trust her with Cleo again in a heartbeat.”

“Kenny and Michelle and family were such a pleasure to connect with. From the minute we dropped Hank off to pickup I could tell he was in excellent hands. Their two kids were so kind to Hank and I loved getting photos of him on walks. Hank is an older dog who takes medication for arthritis and I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and gentle environment for him. I will definitely check their availability next time in Missoula.”

“Lauren is fantastic - you can tell she handles everything with ease and genuinely loves dogs. They have a great yard for Ace to run and play, and he always comes home happy. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands!”

“Barbara took good care of my Aussie doodles! She sent me lots of pictures that helped set my mind at ease that the pups were doing well. We would book with her again.”

“Wonderful dog sitters who took great care of my rescue dog Aspen while I was out of state. My dog got along perfectly with theirs and she’s pretty picky. I would highly recommend this sitter for anyone looking for a reliable place to keep their dog while away!!”

“Tavia was awesome watching my two little Italian greyhounds!! She was responsive and sent lots of photos! I will absolutely be using her in the future. Highly recommend!!”

“Andrea and her pup, Ruger, came through when we had an unexpected trip come up. She took care of our dog-girl with no issues at all. Would definitely use her again!”

“Noelle was great to work with. She put our minds at ease about having our dog stay with her for two nights while we had to be out of town. She sent us updates including photos of playtimes, of hiking, and of the naps in between. We especially like her large fenced-in yard. We would book with her again.”

“Teresa is wonderful! She was happy to offer a meet n greet at her home. She gave my pups lots of walks and love. She has a wonderful yard and plenty of space. I can tell my dog was so well taken care of when I got back and it is so appreciated!”

“Nicole was great to my pup, took her out for two walks a day, hiked with her and played with her in the yard. She sent updates daily with pictures. It’s clear that she really loves and understands dogs and I felt very comfortable leaving Lela with her.”

“Memo was WONDERFUL! I have a two year old border collie who is extremely high energy. Memo really took the time, and went the extra mile to WEAR. HIM. OUT. She was very sweet with our dog, and took care of him as if he were her own. Memo seemed very intuitive to our dogs needs, and adjusted things so he would be more comfortable. Memo was very commutative, and gave wonderful pupdates! Our dog had a freaking blast, and I'm extremely grateful we booked with Memo. 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“Leah was fantastic with my dog. They were attentive, reliable, and followed all care instructions perfectly. She took my dog out on lots of hikes to stay active. Communication was excellent throughout with lots of photo updates. She even got my dog a small stuffed animal as a holiday present. Would book again.”
“Carmen was so great with Sadie! She was so good at keeping me updated on how she was doing and sent photos to show me what they were up to. She took her out on adventures to exercise her. Her dog was very friendly and got along great with mine. Would highly recommend!”

“Dani is sweet! My Soka loves visiting her. She gets plenty of exercise in walks and lots of nurturing snuggle time. Dani is great with communication and flexibility. Will continue to use when possible”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Frenchtown
My first week living in Montana I had a last minute trip pop up that I wasn’t able to bring my pup Moa on - Ive had her for 6 months now and she’s never been boarded or stayed the night with anyone but me yet so I was stressing… I tried searching all over for a doggy daycares that could take Moa, and after seeing everywhere was booked, I very last minute turned to Rover to see if anyone would respond late the night before my 3 day trip. Sarah was so quick to respond saying she’d be happy to help and was extremely helpful, attentive and even sent me photos of her great open land and cozy house/ dogs of her own! Moa was warmly greeted by Sarah and her dogs along with her husband and super sweet daughter… and the rest is history! Sarah sent the most adorable, informative updates every day with photos and videos that put me SO at ease knowing she was having a blast and was safe and happy!! It was the highlight of my days getting the message notification from Sarah to see what Moa was up to that day. Moa loved playing with Sarah’s sweet & playful pups as well :) Moa was Sarah’s new little buddy by the end and even showed Sarah love to say goodbye before Moa got back in my car to go home. Sarah was a total blessing for me in such a pinch and I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
