My dog, Leroy, is a six year old large breed dog. I've been patiently and carefully training him to be my adventurer since he was five weeks old! We hike regularly, backpack occasionally, and paddleboard every chance we can. In addition to safely training my own dog, as a kid I worked on training my parents dogs. At ten years old, I taught my family's dogs basic commands, good leash etiquette, and essentials like catching frisbees! I understand the importance of making sure dogs are active and stimulated, so I'm often trying to come up with new ways to keep my own dog on his toes. This often means walking and hiking in new places, but also different food puzzles for teaching commands and to keep him thinking. While I do not currently have a cat, I have professionally worked with cats! This work included cleaning large rooms with up to 15 cats doing and doing enrichment activities to ensure that cats were well socialized.  My dog, Leroy, is my pride and joy. It's no exaggeration to say my world revolves around him. As your pet sitter, I'll do what I can to make sure your friends feel as loved as my Leroy does.
