“Justina was truly wonderful to work with this summer! She was very attentive & reliable to work with!”

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

“Marina took wonderful care of my pup while I was out skiing for the day. Was great with communication and kept me updated with photos. Thank you!”

“So happy to have Alina's help! She is great with the dogs, adept with the logistics of where I am staying, flexible in working with my changing needs (adding an extra dog), excellent at keeping track of the details, responds quickly, and provides cheerful updates with pics. She came to know/get the dogs very quickly. Highly recommend!”

“Jade was wonderful and sweet with Harper! Excellent communication before and during the hour-long walk! Harper clearly had an amazing time and was nice and tired when they got back. I will definitely use Jade again!”

“Grace is a very kind and caring Dog Walker who my puppy loves to see whenever she gets to go for a walk! Your dog would be lucky to get a chance to walk with Grace!”

“Alex was amazing for a last minute booking! I had never used Rover before but Alex made it easy and took Kimba on a fun walk, sent us picks and a map of his route. We will definitely ask Alex to walk Kimba again. She adores him!”

“Hired Shannon at the last minute and she was available and flexible for a meet & greet. I as well as my dog immediately fell in love with her.”

“Last minute and easy to communicate with! Thank you!”

“Mackenzie was great! On time and flexible with schedule. I would use her again.”

“Clare was amazing. She took our pup out on a cold day and brought him a coat to keep him warm. She gave him a nice long walk and brought him back happy and tired. So glad we found her!”

About: Hi, I’m Mia U.—Founder and CEO of a private healing arts practice that I’ve run for over 20 years. I’m also a lifelong dog lover, K9 massage therapist, and nature enthusiast based in West Vail. I’ve lived with and cared for dogs for over 40 years, and I bring deep empathy, calm, and intuitive care to every animal I meet. Because I manage my own schedule, I’m available for your pet three times a day—morning, midday, and evening—ensuring they get at least three hours of outdoor care and enrichment daily. Whether we’re walking by the creek, hiking, playing outside, or just enjoying some quiet sun on the deck, your pet will feel safe, grounded, and nurtured. I specialize in working with senior dogs, sensitive animals, and pets who benefit from a calm, steady environment. My background in bodywork and holistic wellness gives me a unique ability to tune into each animal’s physical and emotional needs. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pet like family, with presence and purpose, I’d love to be their second home. I am able to provide at least 3 hours of outdoor care every am, midday, and pm. and lots of love and snuggles at home inside. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, safety, trust, and calm are my top priorities. I create a grounded environment where animals feel secure, relaxed, and loved—especially when they’re adjusting to a new space or missing their person. At my home in West Vail, your pet will have a quiet, peaceful space with no other animals—just me and them. I maintain a structured but gentle routine, with three outdoor sessions daily, supervised downtime, and enrichment based on your pet’s needs. I never leave pets unattended outside, and I only use leashes, collars, and routines that you’ve approved. I also maintain a clean, toxin-free home environment. When I’m staying at your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I follow your routines closely—feeding, walking, and rest schedules—and send updates to keep you connected and reassured. I’m naturally observant and detail-oriented, so if something seems “off,” I’ll notice and communicate with you immediately. My background in healing arts and animal massage allows me to read subtle shifts in body language, energy, and stress levels. Your pet’s comfort and wellbeing are always my top priority.

“We were visiting from out of town and Jessi was available with short notice to walk Zeus. Zeus is diabetic and needs to be let out regularly and have his water refilled. We could count on Jessi. We even received the cutest pictures!”

About: I took care of 2 pugs who lived to be 16 and 18 years old, was a pool guy who had to learn how to befriend many dogs who were protective of the backyard pool. I love the spirit dogs have and would like nothing more than to meet your dog, walk, and play with him/her! I work 4 days per week at EagleVail golf course and could easily walk your dog before and after work! I also am available on days off to walk your dog and would really enjoy doing it! I abide by dog owners rules and give the dog/dogs plenty of outdoor play time and bathroom breaks! I would hope to bond with your dog so that he/she feels safe.

“Michael was amazing taking care of Buttercup! I got plenty of pictures and updates. I trust that she was very well taken care of. Thanks Michael”

“Tyler was great and made sure Charlie had a nice long walk while we were out for the day!”

“We traveled 2,000 miles to Vail for our son's wedding and met Nikohl who did a wonderful job looking after Steve for us, walking him, feeding him and being his companion. Highly recommended!!!”

About: Always had dogs and helped train them. Trained my own 11 y/o lab mix rescue. Work on Vail mtn in the winter doing medical and helping train avalanche dogs as a ski patroller. Been in the avalanche dog department for the past few years and have helped train a few of the newer pups on the hill. I feel like I'm uniquely prepared to handle any situation that comes up during walks as well as have some fun entertaining training games from work! I work four days a week building mtb trails and responding to medical emergencies in the summer but am available for walks all night after that and pet sitting in my days off. We own our home but don't have much of a yard. We live right next to a dog park if that is something your dog likes otherwise leashed walks and hikes.

“So helpful!! Couldn’t thank her enough. Took good care of Maria.”

About: I am self employed and work from home so have plenty of time to give attention to your pup. I have a 13 year old dog named Bruce. He enjoys slower walks and hikes but I’m happy to do longer walks or runs with your younger dog. Bruce gets along with all dogs and I would prefer yours does too! I have plenty of time throughout the day to walk, play, etc with your dog. Just let me know what their activity level is, off leash guidelines, and any other quirks. My yard is on the Gore creek, not fenced in. My dog and other visiting dogs always play down by the creek. If your dog is not good off leash or you don’t want them near the creek, I will keep them on leash at all times.

ANDREW M.
“Andrew has watched our dog multiple times and she has always had a great time with him. He is caring and loving of her, keeps her entertained more than we do at home. He has multiple dogs himself so he knows how to handle pups and is comfortable around all fur babies. I would recommend Andrew to watch/walk anyone’s dogs.”

He is a natural with all animals but with dogs, he is magnetic. Elena B.
“Elena has watched my 13-year old dog Luka multiple times over the last few years. She is my first choice whenever she is available because I know that my dog will be treated like a member of the family. She regularly sends photos and updates while she is watching my dog, which I love because I can be confident that Luka is well cared for. She is an animal lover in the truest sense of the word- I love knowing that when I leave Luka with her, he will come home happy and content.”
