“Ashley is awesome! She came to my home and took care of my brand new puppy, who has quite a demanding schedule. I was a super anxious new puppy mom and she put me at ease, kept me updated, and was super flexible and accommodating. Basil loved her and I felt like he was in great hands. Absolutely recommend!”

“This was our second time booking with G’la, and once again, she absolutely knocked it out of the park! She took care of our dog Finn and cat Tuna while we were in Mexico for our wedding, and knowing they were with someone they already loved made all the difference. Our boys adore her! It’s clear they feel safe, spoiled, and totally at home in her care. She kept us updated with sweet photos and thoughtful check-ins, and we came home to two very happy pets (and a clean house!). G’la is trustworthy, kind, and just really gets animals. We wouldn’t leave Finn and Tuna with anyone else. Five stars, every time!”

“Awesome job! Kept in touch with text and photos and was available at the last minute to watch our pup. She made a point of making time to visit and meet him and us before the stay, and was incredibly warm during our meeting.”

“Qishu was amazing with our high energy dog and extremely communicative with us. We received lots of updates and pictures over all the days we were gone. We would unreservedly recommend Qishu to anyone!”

“Excellent service. Dane has great communication. He updates me everytime he comes and check on the pups. He takes cute pictures of them and spent time with each one, make sure they get all the attention they need. One of my dogs is reactive and difficult to handle, while most people turn him away, Dane makes sure he gets the care that he needs. I’m for sure will be a returning customer.”

“Dennis did an awesome job caring for our special needs dog who suffers from DM. Our dog needs the assistance of a wheelchair for mobility, and Dennis took on the challenge confidently- with patience and understanding. He sent plenty of pictures and updates, and followed our instructions perfectly. I highly recommend!”

“Melina is fantastic! She stayed with my 2 pups, Rudy and Rondo, for 4 days while I was on a business trip. I received multiple pictures and updates that put me at ease during my travels. I am an anxious traveler and I was very comfortable knowing she was taking such good care of my sweet dogs. I highly recommend her for walks, overnight stays and pet care overall. Thank you for everything. ❤️??”

“Victoria was very calm, collected and kind. She was flexible with our last minute needs and able to handle our very high energy doberman puppy with ease. Will be booking again - 10/10!”

“Ammy watched our dog at our apartment for a long weekend and we felt very at-ease while away. She comforted our nervous pup during the 4th of July fireworks, in which we were grateful. About: One of my first memories is of adopting a stray that we named Chiqule (Gum, in Spanish) because he decided to stick around. Ever since then I’ve picked up many of our four legged friends and made them family dogs. Many years since having my own pet, my love for our furry friends has yet to dwindle and I continue to pet-sit and house-sit just for the opportunity to hang in with a little fur ball. I have experience with a small senior dogs and dogs who have required medication, 3+ walks a day, or an extensive park visit. I’ve house-sat and makes sure to build my schedule around my four-legged, temporary bestie to ensure a stress-free time. I like to establish constant communication and updates with the pet-parent to make sure all is well. I regard play time highly but makes sure to only ruff-house and much as per-parent sees fit. Cuddles are optional but recommended. I my work hours are 8:30-5 but travel form Berkeley to Hayward so I can pop in within that 15 mile radius! My weekends are a lot more flexible. I make sure to follow a requested guideline and/or care checklist from pet-parents. I make sure to scope out the potential yard for any hazards and establish some trust with pets before going out on our first walk. If treats are allowed or provided, I will reward my furry friend when I see best on our initial walks to establish trust and respect. Play-time is important and can also be carried out as the pet-parent sees fit.

“Kerri was such a caring, communicative house and dog sitter. She was unfazed by Tibbie’s quirks and seemed to love him for him. Our house was tidy and taken care of when we arrived back home after a long weekend. Thanks so much Kerri!”
