“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. After a precious sitter canceled on me 5 hours before my flight for the holidays, I reached out to Suzanne frantic and hopeful with her great reviews that she would be open to watching my pup over the holiday! She was very responsive and too the time to speak with me before agreeing to meet me and Nelo to determine compatibility. During the intake she walked me through where Nelo would be playing and staying. She asked all the right questions to ensure she understood any needs he may have. After meeting and Nelo instantly becoming comfortable she agreed to watch him and we were able to catch our flight out. During the stay I received daily video updates. Nelo arrived home well taken care of and sad to leave all the fun friends he had made. I’m so happy to have met Suzanne and I look forward to having her sit Nelo again. I would 100% recommend!”

We host up to 3 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. About: Dogs have been in my life since I was a kid, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of looking after dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs: • Gator, my grandma’s goofy orange lab, who loved carrying giant rocks and playing in the water. • A shar-pei with big “Stanley-from-The-Office” energy, who needed daily walks and, later in life, extra care with meals and medication. • My parents’ pitbull, who I raised from the puppy stage and helped train—my most challenging and rewarding experience! I prefer to meet pet before hand. If it’s a dog I avoid other dogs on walks and even if encouraged or recommended, I do not take them to the dog park. About: Gentle (or jumpy!) giants are my specialty. I’ve spent the last 15 years sharing my life with Bullmastiffs, Dogues de Bordeaux and Cane Corsos from puppyhood to passing. Medium dogs are great but the big boys and girls are my heart. All ages welcome. My home is 100% set up for dog life. I’m retired from my full-time career but still work very part-time as a CrossFit coach, and also workout daily. Mornings I’m at the gym but home between classes and all afternoon. What comes with your pet visit: 1 on 1 attention full of love and care. 30 minutes or more of playtime at the dog park at least once per stay 15-20 min. walks (at least 3 times a day). Meals will be served morning and evening Positive reinforcement is a must! Please note that it is a MUST that your dog is neutered/spayed to prevent any accidents.
