About: I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and four years of hands-on experience working in both a veterinary clinic and a dog kennel/daycare. I’m currently a first-year veterinary student at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, continuing to build my knowledge and skills in animal health and behavior. In addition to pet sitting, I care for an elderly family member, which allows for a lot of flexibility. I’m happy to come to your home, where your pet is most comfortable and their routine stays as normal as possible. My goal is to earn your cat or dog’s trust so they see my visits as something to look forward to while they’re missing their favorite people. With cats, I let them set the pace. I wait for them to approach, sniff me, and decide when they’re ready to say hello. Dogs are usually much more social, but I still like to get down to their level and let them get to know me before we jump into playtime or a walk. Trust is everything—both for your pets and for you. If your pup needs exercise, I’m more than happy to help make sure they’re happily tired and content by the time you get home. These days, I walk my neighbor’s dog, Chloe, every morning. They’re an older couple, so I do it simply to help out, and Chloe now waits for me by the door each day. It’s one of the sweetest parts of my routine. Availability: I am actively at work three days a week Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from the hours of approximately 11-4 pm. The rest of the week I work from home. Walking Services: I am an avid hiker and runner. I typically use my days off to hike and I would be delighted to integrate your dog into my routine if you live near trails. House stays: When I stay in the clients home, I try to keep to the schedule that is already known to minimize stress to the pet. Dog daycare: At my own home, I have a fenced in area where the dogs can run and play. There are neighborhood dogs that can come and play if your pet enjoys socializing.

About me: I have had pets my entire life and am well-acquainted with the needs of various animals. In addition to my childhood pets, I have taken care of animals for friends and family for about 10 years now. I have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, lizards, and birds and understand the importance of finding someone you trust to care for your pet. It is no stress on me to live with your pet for a week, come by for a walk, or drop in and visit throughout the day. I can work around my schedule any day of the week to ensure your pet gets the care they deserve. I can easily leash and crate any animal who requires it. Your pet will get food and love every day (obviously!) If needed, I will take your pet for walks regularly and take pride in my ability to keep a space clean, including cleaning up after a pet in the yard or in public. All doors and windows will stay locked and will be checked before I leave the residence, all lights will be turned off when not in use, and I don't run washing machines, dryers, or dishwashers when I am away.

About: I have experience working with many different animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and even cattle. I love spending time with animals and currently working as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic. I have lots of experience pet sitting and dog walking and also have experience working around livestock so no dog is too big! Walking your dog will be of great enjoyment for both myself and your pet and I will work to create a bond between me and your pet so that we both make the most of our time. I can’t wait to work with you and your fur baby! I go to school full time, so pet sitting and dog walking is something I do on the side, so I can spend more time with animals! If possible I like to meet dogs for the first time with their owner around to lower their stress and slightly away from their home if possible (particularly if they are known to be protective of their homes).
