Every morning I feed my animals by 730am and in the evenings by 500pm. I currently work part time and do not start my shifts before 930am. When feeding the animals, I spend time with them. My cat - I pet him after he finishes and brush him. With my dogs - I play frisbee and in the yard with them. We also go on at least 2 walks each day for exercise with the dogs. My cat is trained to be on a leash as well and goes for walks 1 time a week. For the dogs, we have a fenced in backyard and extra room in the house to play. We have toys and frisbees as well. At my clients house, I play with the animals in the back yard or house depending on area. Taking care to brush, water, and feed them. Giving the animals the attention they deserve and need while their family is gone. I stay attentive to their needs, moods, and energy levels to engage with them properly.

We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I also watch my family member’s dogs at my home and they do excellent with her. Each pet is unique in their quirks and what makes this gig especially fun in figuring out what is it. Hire me to give your pet the care they deserve. I currently only work a part time job for 2 days out the week from 11-4pm. However my partner works full time at home and is my helper in this! We have the same values about pets and will ensure amazing care. Big living room area with tons of space to be in and rooms. Closed doors for alone time but most importantly front door with access to street closed off.

For a long time, my daily routine centered on my elderly dog, his meals, his medications, his slow morning walks. Since he passed, I've had a lot of time, energy, and love that used to be his and nowhere to put it. My cats at home are sweet but pretty independent. Honestly, they prefer some space from me, and they're perfectly happy when I'm out caring for someone else's pet. I'm home most of the day, my schedule is genuinely open, and pet care isn't something I'm squeezing in around my life. t's where I want to spend the time. I can do midday drop-ins, multiple visits a day, last-minute requests, and weekday walks without it cutting into anything else. Honestly, I'd rather be outside than in. When I'm caring for your pet at your home, expect long walks, park trips, and as much fresh air and exercise as your dog has the legs for. I'm a big believer in tiring a pup out the good way. Real movement, sniff time, and play, rather than letting them snooze on the couch all afternoon. I even make sure senior pups get their sniff time in by making a 20 minute walk around the block last a couple hours with plenty of breaks and water! For cats, I focus on play sessions, brushing, and one-on-one attention before topping off food and water. I do have an apartment if you ever need a place to drop your dog off, but I'll be upfront: I share it with cats, so it's only a fit for calm, cat-friendly pups. For everyone else, I'll happily come to you.

I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 6 years old. My schedule is very flexible. I can also assist in overnight sitting as well. I have a labradoodle that is friendly around other dogs. I’m open to any type of dog no matter the needs! I'm working at home so I’m pretty open. we can work something out because I’m very flexible. also if you want i can watch your dog over night. my labor doodle loves to play and wrestle so she can be annoying sometimes but she will get along just fine with other dogs that is not so much people because shes afraid of them.

About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.
