“Roy was awesome! He was flexible with pick up times and sent me a ton of photos during the stay. When I picked up my pup, he didn’t want to leave which was a great sign! Would definitely rebook :)”

About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.
“Zelda LOVED Anita. I was waiting outside when Anita walked up after walking Zelda. After showing how much she missed me (it's was her first time at any doggy daycare), she literally hopped into Anita's arms when we were leaving to be picked up to say goodbye. I'm so glad to have found her.”

“Tony and his dog Millie were great! My anxious pup relaxed with him quickly and she had a lovely evening playing in the yard. Super safe yard and house, Tony seems very knowledgeable and experienced with all sorts of temperments. Definitely recommend!”

“We’ve booked Grisel several times and will continue to rebook! She has gone above and beyond to provide exemplary care for my Otter boy (lending him a doggy sweater when it’s cold outside and successfully flushing his eyes with his eye wash during allergy flare-ups). I can rest easy knowing that he is in her care.”

“I highly recommend Joel! My old girl was calm and happy after her day stay. Extremely considerate of Lola’s needs. She’s a picky pup and can be stressed by strangers, but not with Joel. Didn’t have to worry about her safety or well-being. A great help and huge relief.”
“love bringing my dog to deanna! he gets so much socialization and literally is overly excited everytime we pull up, he just runs in and forgets we ever existed lol. she always sends updates and pictures and i know he’s taken care of. highly recommend!!”

“Anna looked after Simba while I attended a concert, she kept me updated with lots of pictures about what Simba was up to - I didnt have to worry about him! She made sure that Simba had a fun time with lots of love and treats! If you're looking for someone that'll make your pooch feel at home and have some fun while you're away - Anna's the one to choose!!”

“Tanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. My dog is reactive and nervous around new dogs, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he would feel comfortable with her and her dog. We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!”

About: I love animals which includes pets! I come from a home that has two of the sweetest pitbulls. Moving out I of course got a cat, and she does well with dogs! I also watch my family member’s dogs at my home and they do excellent with her. Each pet is unique in their quirks and what makes this gig especially fun in figuring out what is it. Hire me to give your pet the care they deserve. I currently only work a part time job for 2 days out the week from 11-4pm. However my partner works full time at home and is my helper in this! We have the same values about pets and will ensure amazing care. Big living room area with tons of space to be in and rooms. Closed doors for alone time but most importantly front door with access to street closed off.
About: I have taken care of my own fur friends (cats and dogs) since time immemorial! I've had dogs both large and small, quiet and rowdy, and feel comfortable with caring for them all. From a young age, I helped to take care of all aspects of caring for the family's furry companions, and have done so for friends--both over the weekend and just checking in to make sure they have food, water, and companionship. I also adore cats! I've got one of my own, Cleo, who I adopted last year. I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and understand them very well. I have a gentle nature that I think animals respond well to, and can gauge an animal's personality to find ways to best approach and care for them. My cat Cleo requires pets first thing in the morning, so that is at the top of the to-do list. After this, I ensure that she has fresh, filtered water and enough food. I work from home, so she is near me lots and enjoys hourly rubs. I also ensure that she stays active and mentally stimulated with toys and our version of fetch (me just running back and forth). She gets groomed at least 3-4 times per week, emptied box daily, and I frequently monitor her food and water intake and other habits (e.g. self-grooming) cause I want to make sure she's with me for the long haul! I am a very attentive, loving human companion. First and foremost, I ensure my cat has her most basic needs: food, water, clean litter. My cat had some issues with not keeping food down, so I did some reading and got her elevated bowls. If Cleo could talk, she'd tell you that when she was having issues, I was right there comforting her. Luckily, Cleo does not have a habit of eating foreign objects, but I ensure that the floor is clear of any string or debris that she could choke on, or that may cause her sickness. When I have helped out friends, I ensure that I follow their directions exactly as they are written, and if anything is unclear, ensuring that I clarify or follow up. It means a lot that someone would entrust their fur family to me, so I would treat their cat or dog with the same love and attention that I give mine.
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life ever since I was a little kid—they’ve been my constant companions through everything. There’s just something magical about them: the way they greet you like you’ve been gone for years (even if it’s just five minutes), their unconditional love, and how they turn a simple walk into the highlight of the day. I absolutely love walking dogs, feeling that tug on the leash as they excitedly explore every scent, or just spending quiet time with them curled up nearby. They make the world feel less lonely; I never truly feel alone when dogs are around. Lately, I’ve been bringing my sister’s dog up from Fresno to stay with me for weeks at a time, and it’s been pure bliss—extra playtime, more cuddles, and that doubled-up dog joy. I’m at my happiest when I’m surrounded by them, whether it’s throwing a ball in the park, brushing their fur, or just watching them dream with those little leg twitches. Dogs have this incredible gift for bringing out the best in us and filling our days with genuine happiness. If you’ve got that same kind of love for them, you know exactly what I mean! 🐶❤️ Lately, I’ve been off work for a while, and I’m looking to fill my days with some real excitement. I’ve been bringing my sister’s dog up from Fresno to stay with me for weeks at a time, and it’s been pure bliss—extra playtime, more cuddles, and that doubled-up dog joy. But to amp things up even more, I’m thinking about diving deeper into dog-related adventures: volunteering at a local animal shelter (walking and playing with pups who need it most), trying out dog agility classes or hiking trails with furry friends, joining a dog meetup group for pack walks and play dates. I make my dog healthy foods to eat, I always wash her up after walks and play with her with her toys, we love to just chill on the couch and watch tv.
“Bari and Felix were great!! They sent us plenty of pictures and updates and our dog had a great time at their house, and even made a friend. We'd definitely have him stay with them again!”

“I found Marcie on Rover and she responded quickly on such short notice. I contacted her on a Friday and she was able to accommodate our pit bull Jada the next day. Marcie was courteous enough to provide photos of Jada while at the dog park. Jada looked like she enjoyed her time with Marcie. We look forward to using Marcie again in the future.”

“Kylie was the first person we chose to watch our puppy, Birdie, off rover and we are so happy with our decision. She's so sweet and updated us throughout the night on our pup which made us feel more at ease. We will hands down be contacting her again for future stays.”

“This was Mitzi’s first time staying with Matt, and it went really well. She was a little nervous at first, but Matt was patient and made her feel comfortable. He communicated regularly and sent photo updates, which I really appreciated. By the end of the stay, she seemed relaxed and happy. I’d definitely book with Matt again. Thanks for taking such great care of Mitzi!”

Kevin was amazing! He was very responsive and flexible with drop off and pick up times for my commute with work. It was my first time leaving my new dog with someone during the day and Gracie was happy to see him each day. He was great with taking photos and following care instructions. Will definitely book him again!

Katherine was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Vigo. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with all different kinds of dogs, which immediately put us at ease. We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. Katherine has an excellent system for thoughtfully and safely socializing dogs, and it was clear that Vigo felt comfortable with her and engaged right away. Our dog has A LOT of energy and loves to run and play, and he was genuinely happy and very content when we picked him up both days. We couldn’t have been happier with the care Vigo received. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone with dogs of any breed or temperament. We wish she lived closer to us for regular stays but will absolutely go back to her any time we’re in the area.

Caroline was very communicative and took great care of our dog, Millie. Millie takes a while to warm up to people and Caroline was happy to interact with Millie on her terms. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day which really eased our minds! I would book a service with Caroline again.

Kylie was the first person we chose to watch our puppy, Birdie, off rover and we are so happy with our decision. She's so sweet and updated us throughout the night on our pup which made us feel more at ease. We will hands down be contacting her again for future stays.
