About: I am a retired Probation Officer in Masachusetts, but animals are my true passion. I have cared for my friends and neighbors cats, dogs, and rabbits. I am willing to care for any animal with no breed restrictions. I have a Senior rescue cat who is the joy of my life, and the only reason I am not offering home care at this time as he is a very happy and loved only child. I am not sure how he would react to another pet in the home, and he is my first priority. :) I am recently retired, and I am available most days and evenings to care for your pets. I will send plenty of photos and always keep you updated on your pets during visits. I bought my senior cat two sets of stairs because I saw that he was struggling to get off the bed. I bought one set for him to get on the bed and one set to put beside his condo so he could just go straight over to it. He prefers to hang out on the stairs instead of his condo so he can spy on my neighbors. LOL I love animals, and I love to make them happy and to make their lives easier. I will treat any client's pet like my own and spoil them rotten!

About: What sets me apart is my extensive background as a veterinary technician. I started in animal shelters and later worked in veterinary practices, caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. That experience gives me confidence handling everything from energetic puppies who need structure and reinforcement, to senior pets requiring medication, patience, and gentle care. I’ve fostered more animals than I can count, which has given me a strong understanding of behavior, transitions, and how to make pets feel safe and secure in new environments. Although I’ve recently changed careers and returned to school, I deeply miss being around animals. My own pets have crossed the rainbow bridge, and caring for others’ fur babies truly fills that space in my heart. Pet sitting isn’t just a side job for me — it’s something I genuinely love. I live in a loving, multi-generational home where pets truly become part of the family. There is almost always someone around, which means plenty of supervised attention, affection, and companionship throughout the day. Dogs staying with us receive lots of love, playtime, and, of course, belly rubs. They are never left feeling alone and are spoiled in the very best way — with structure, safety, and tons of positive interaction. My goal is to provide a warm, home-like environment where your pet feels comfortable, secure, and genuinely cared for. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m currently a full-time student, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to plan my days around the pets in my care. I’m available most days and evenings, and I’m happy to accommodate overnight stays, drop-ins, or daytime care. If you need something specific, just reach out — I’m always willing to see if we can make it work! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. While I do not have a fenced-in yard, I have a large yard for leashed walks and supervised outdoor time. We also have a wonderful, quiet area right on my street that’s perfect for longer, structured walks. With my background as a veterinary technician, I’m very comfortable monitoring behavior, recognizing signs of stress or illness, and administering medications if needed. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I follow your routines closely to keep them feeling secure and at ease. While you’re away, your pet won’t just be “watched” — they’ll be cared for, exercised, and loved like part of the family. I truly aim to give them a safe, happy experience that feels like their own little vacation.

About: I've had dogs my entire life and all have lived healthy long lives. I've pet sat for friends and family. I think all pets should have the chance to stay in the comfort of home and be cared for while their owners are away. During my school year (September to June) I am available weekends and during school breaks. During the summer months I'm available daily. I look forward to discussing options with you. I treat all pets as if they're my own. I have a little boy who can't get enough puppy/dog time. I'd love for him to join me and learn more about pet care for when he gets his own dog. About: I am highly intuitive and attentive. I have worked with many different types of dogs big to small, and have volunteered for many years at shelters. My friends call me the animal whisperer. About: In my 30 years, I have always had at least one pet in my care. Growing up, I took care of dogs, goats, chickens, rabbits, degus and more. I have personal experience with "exotic" animals such as hamsters, rats, chinchillas, etc. I have a combined 7 years of experience with animal care in a professional setting, including work at a pet store, as an Animal Care technician for laboratory animals and as a receptionist and kennel/boarding assistant in a veterinary hospital. I am a true animal lover and I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy to care for your furry family. I am available several days a week for drop in visits for new and current clients. Drop ins include let outs, feedings, play time, medications, etc as needed. About: I have had dogs my entire life and they are so important to me; I have two dogs currently, one of whom is medically complex and requires several medications 3x a day to prevent seizures. I do everything I can to give my dogs the best life I can and am passionate about doing so for all of our furry friends! If I could adopt more dogs I would but my husband would divorce me! I’m therefore hoping Rover will help me make a difference for more dogs in the world while reassuring their human companions that they are in good hands! My current work schedule will allow me to have about 3.5 full days off of work every day which will allow me to spend some quality time with your fur baby and giving them the attention they deserve, whether that’s going on a walk or just giving some snuggles! About: I’ve worked as a vet tech for 10 years and have owned my own farm with dogs, cats , horses, llamas and alpacas for over 20 years. I am currently working part time and I’m also a real estate agent so my schedule is flexible ! I am willing to accommodate your schedule so it works for you. About: I have experience with dogs of all ages stages and styles! I grew up being a part of the training process with multiple dogs throughout my childhood and into adulthood. I have also owned several dogs of my own, all of which I trained and raised exclusively. I can manage medical care including CPR/1st aide, seizure control, wound and surgical aftercare, geriatric care as well as dogs with special needs and handicaps. With over 6 years of boarding kennel and daycare experience you can rest assured I am ready for any situation! I currently own my own dog care business, so I have loads of flexibility and can be available for all of your pet care needs. I live in a wonderful neighborhood that is very pet friendly and excellent for walks! I do not have a fenced in yard but it is safe, grassy and level. I do use long lines and or tie outs if necessary. I have two dogs of my own so our home is already dog proofed. We welcome pets in all rooms, on furniture or off! We use baby gates and crates as needed and always with a positive attitude.

About: I have dog training experience. I trained my own dog to be my service dog. He is 2 years old and loves everyone. I'm a fast walker if needed and will work on dog behavior when I visit if you need. My schedule is very open. I'm a retired police officer and meeting dogs helps with my recovery. I'm generally available any day with enough notice I can work on dog behavior if you need. My service dog comes with me so we can do play time and socialization. He walks well with other dogs.
