“Tammy was absolutely amazing when she watched our dog, Juniper. She was compassionate, flexible, and communicated with us constantly while we were away, especially updating us with pictures of Juniper! She took care of Juniper as if she was her pet. During the meet & greet, Tammy asked us thorough questions to ensure that she was taking the absolute best care of Juniper. Our dog can be nervous around new people but immediately bonded with Tammy, which goes to show how truly sweet she was. We would highly recommend Tammy to absolutely anyone who was looking for a dog sitter. 10/10!!”

“Kadence is amazing! She stayed at my house with my 2 pups, one who is reactive and one who is old and sick, and took great care of them. She went above and beyond for my girls and I truly appreciate it!”

“Beatriz did a great job watching my dog while I was away for a short trip. She gathered lots of information from me beforehand, provided just the right amount of photos and updates, and gave my dog a lot of attention. I found her to be motivated, responsible, focused, and tidy. I will definitely request her for future trips.”

“I am very pleased to recommend Lauren as a house pet sitter. She provided excellent daily communication and shared delightful pet updates with photos, which truly put my mind at ease. Lauren was respectful of our home and followed all the pet care instructions we provided. Her sweet demeanor made her a joy to work with, and it's clear that our pets were well cared for during her stay. I highly recommend her for your house pet sitting needs!”

“We are very happy with Jacki. This was our second time booking Jacki to dog sit for our two dogs in our home. She loves dogs and treats our two furkids very well. Our beagle Mugsy loves that she let's him lay on her lap while watching TV and our older Shiba Inu Riley Jacki knows needs a little extra care and attention. We highly recommend her and will look to book with her again the next time we plan a trip that we can't take our fuekids with us.”

“Olivia is dependable, considerate and trust worthy…an animal lover who stayed in our home caring for our two dogs (and several plants). She stayed over a weekend and upon our return, we couldn’t even tell anyone was there, including the dogs. If you are looking for a responsible, personable and professional home and pet sitter, it will be difficult to find anyone as responsible and caring as her.”

About: I have had 3 dogs and 1 cat in my lifetime. I have been asked by multiple neighbors to watch their pets while their away. I love to take them outside for walks aswell as play with them. I am a high school student so time is very limited for me. I have available Monday and Tuesday after 4! Availability is also possible on weekends. I have a fenced yard at my house for safe play. I do not have any pets currently so there will be no possible tension between other pets.

About: I've had cats at home for my entire life while also getting very familiar with the neighborhood dogs! I've been taking care of my direct neighbors dog for the past 3 summers while she has been working, taking her out 2-3 times a day. I've worked with dog/house sitting for almost 7 years now and adore being able to ease worries while family is away. I am a college student home for the summer trying to pick up some extra work while back at home. My availability is very open and with notice I should be able to help! I am familiar in dealing with reactive dogs, in the house and on walks. I am comfortable walking almost any dog on leash, I don't mind being pulled a bit haha! I have no fear of barking or generally loud dogs either. As far as cats go I love to cuddle up on the couch or simply let them do their own thing, as cats usually do!

About: Donna and I started taking care of dogs when we lost our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Dutchin. We got her when she was 3 months old and she was our baby. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn't bring ourselves to get another dog, but wanted to still experience the joy that dogs bring to our lives. We decided to provide both care and a safe, loving home for other people's pets while their humans are away or otherwise unable to care for them short-term. This way, we can give you peace of mind in knowing your best friend is safe and happy, and we get to interact with all kinds of dogs, which gives us great joy! Your friend will get all the love and attention you give them; and, well, if we spoil them a bit too much, sorry (not sorry)! We are both retired, so we have plenty of time to care for your pets whether in our home or yours. We are available for walks, drop in visits and overnight boarding in our home. When boarding with us, your fur baby will never be alone as someone is always home. We have a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run and play off leash safely. Are your pets used to making themselves at home on the couch? Not a problem! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on ours. If you wish to make your pet a little more at home, you may bring your pet's bed, toys and/or crate.

“Peach was so incredibly wonderful to have stay with our animals. Her warm energy, her commitment and communication allowed us to enjoy our time away knowing our animals were in great hands. Our animals instantly bonded with Peach and truly had such a great time with her! She played with Lou (our cat) and walked Yucca (our dog). We will absolutely be booking with Peach again!”

“Janine stayed for a couple of nights at our home taking care of our old English sheepdog and she was fantastic! She sent us plenty of pictures and video and kept us in the loop about how he was doing. Our dog looked happy and it was apparent he was having plenty of fun. We've already booked her to housesit for our dog again. I couldn't recommend her enough!”

“Heather is great! This is the first time we have used the Rover app and we reached out to Heather because we were impressed by her reviews. She came out to meet us and our boys prior to booking, which was much appreciated. She checked in while we were away with texts and pictures. She spent quality time with the boys, and was often outside with them on out porch which we appreciated very much. She was respectful of our home and we came home to very happy pups! Thank you Heather!”

About: My name is Jeanne, I have been taking care of pets for over 20 years. I love them as my own. I believe in order to gain trust and respect with an animal is to trust and respect them as well! I am trained as a RN, and can provide special care for your special pet as needed. I'm currently working full time but am available to come to you on your schedule! I can adapt to your pet needs. I am available to stay at your home as needed for overnight visits. Whatever yours and your pets ' needs i can come to you. I have found success in going to the owners home, keeping your pet in familiar surroundings, keeping them happy!

About: Hi! My name is Juliana and I am a college student living in Boston this summer. I am a dog owner myself and have experience with dogs of all ages. I am comfortable meeting new dogs (or cats!) and taking care of them. I looking forward to the opportunity to walk or house sit for your pup! I am a student at Northeastern University and I just wrapped up a 6 month internship. Looking to stay busy the rest of the summer. I have a very flexible schedule and will be available during mornings, afternoons and evenings! I live in the city so can easily get to different homes. I can take them out on walks, feed them if needed, play with them, and offer them lots of attention.

About: I am a proud mother of three grown children as well as an elementary school teacher. I am innately nurturing and have considered my own pets, as well as those pets I have cared for as if they were family. I am also a homeowner and understand the importance of caring for both. As a teacher, my schedule provides more flexibility. I have a part time summer job in the mornings Mondays through Fridays, which allows me to care for your pets full time on the weekends, as well as Mondays through Friday from 1:00 pm. During the school year I am also available most weekends. I believe it's important for pets to maintain their normal daily routine, and will work on gaining an in-depth understanding of their schedules, needs, and habits before the scheduled pet sitting dates. Most importantly, your pet(s) is/are my focus while I am pet sitting.

About: You're going away, and the only one more anxious than your pup watching you pack a suitcase, is you, wondering who will take care of them with just as much love and care as you would. That would be me (and my husband and two dog obsessed toddlers)! There are people who like dogs, and then there are dog people. We're the latter! I’ve had dogs in my family my whole life, and cared for dogs through Rover and for friends for over 12 years. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and health needs, and feel comfortable providing medication. After taking a long Rover maternity leave, we're ready to welcome dogs back into our home. Pups coming into our care MUST be good with young kids (ours are 3.5 and 2) and fully house trained. My husband and I both work in schools, so weekdays we are typically home by 3/3:30pm. When the weather is nice, we try to spend as much time outside in the afternoon with our kids in our huge fenced in yard. During school vacation weeks and weekends, we are almost always home, or adventuring nearby to find walking trails, playgrounds, or other outdoor/dog friendly spaces. I always want to replicate what they’re familiar with while you’re away so that they are as comfortable as possible. This will look different for every dog, and we are flexible to that. Safety is a massive priority for our family, as it is just as important for us that your dog and we enjoy their stay. Dogs are never left unattended in our fenced in back yard - my husband or I will always be outside monitoring them. Baby gates separate the kitchen/dining area from the living room/play room area, and used when dogs are eating or if our kids/dog are getting overstimulated and could use a break. We never let the dog off leash if we take them to a public park or walking trail. We do not go to dog parks.

About: I have had a dog in my household since before I can remember… it was always up to me to train them because for some reason animals like to listen to me! I have taken care of neighbors dogs and family members dogs before and I am very trusted in my community. I love all animals no matter how long it takes for them to warm up to me❤️ I babysit for one family and the schedule is extremely flexible…. I am able to care for my own dog at home comfortably and im able to have him do a doggy play date in my back yard at least twice a week. Everyday my dog and I play fetch, swim, or relax outside! My dog lives a very comfortable life, as he has a HUGE backyard to go crazy in! He is a beagle so he needs to sniff a lot and there is plenty of him to do so. In my clients home, I will make sure their animal is comfortable and active as possible, no matter the space provided! There is always something to do with an animal to keep the busy and enriched!

Grace E.
“I have known Grace since she was 14 years old and she's always been extremely responsible. When I adopted my dog Summer 3 1/2 years ago, she and Grace quickly bonded, and it's no wonder - Grace adores animals and is just a lovely human in general. Over the past 2 years she has cared for Summer during stretches of time when she was home from college and I was in need of a better situation for Summer while I was teaching further from home. Grace is fantastic with Summer - she would not only take her for potty breaks but also give her sniff time and walks depending on weather and my pup's needs. When Grace cares for her, I know she will be safe, tired and happy! They adore each other and I know that with Grace, Summer's well-being and safety is paramount. She takes care of my girl as if she were her own dog, and that is worth ten times what I pay her! Do not hesitate to hire Grace to care for your pets - you'll be grateful you found this gem of person and pet-lover! ~ Chris D.”
