We were able to relax and not worry about our Junie at all, even knowing that she usually hates being away from us. “Samantha did a great job taking care of my dog, who was adopted during COVID. She was never able to stayed together with another dog before, and I haven’t sent her away before for more than half a day. PomPom stayed at a commercial dog care place for half a day before, and she was miserable there. But Samantha did something magic. I was kept updated by pictures and videos from Samantha, and was so happy to see that my shy anti-social girl appeared to be very happy with Samantha. Definitely recommend Samantha and I’m sending my dog back soon when our family is out for 1 week vacation.”
“Chris was a wonderful sitter. With Chris, you also get Jia, his girlfriend, as a bonus second sitter who loves dogs. Bentley made immediate friends upon the preliminary meet and greet. The couple has no pets currently, so they were able to give Bentley loads of personal attention and play time. Chris lives near Washington Park, so Bentley had plenty of grassy area to run around and meet other dogs. Chris and Jia worked with our high energy, young pyredoodle, so Bentley would respond to commands more readily. We highly recommend booking with Chris.”

She sent multiple pictures and updates every day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind, it was clear they were truly spending quality time together. They even did activities like yoga and went on multiple car rides, which I loved seeing. When I came to pick Paddy up after a few days, she didn’t even want to leave Lydia, which says everything about how well she was cared for and how much attention and affection she received. I would highly recommend Lydia to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. I will absolutely book with her again!
Absolutely Outstanding Pet Care! Highly, highly recommend! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Amanda! She watched Stitch and Lavi for an entire weekend, and we came home to two happy, well-cared-for pups who clearly had the time of their lives. Amanda went above and beyond in every way. She sent regular updates and photos throughout the weekend, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that Stitch and Lavi weren’t just being “watched” – they were genuinely loved and entertained. They came home tired in the best way possible, which tells me Amanda made sure they got plenty of playtime and attention. What felt the best to us, was how comfortable both pups seemed with her. Stitch can be a bit particular about new people, but Amanda won him over immediately. And Lavi, who has endless energy, clearly found a kindred spirit! Amanda’s natural way with animals and her genuine care and affection made all the difference. Amanda followed all of our instructions perfectly while also using her own excellent judgment when needed and also reached out if she had any questions for us. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and truly gifted with pets. If you’re looking for someone to care for your furry family members, look no further. Amanda is an absolute gem, and we’ll definitely be calling her again for future pet-sitting needs.
Christopher was absolutely amazing with Trevor! Trevor is super curious and can be a bit intense at times, but Christopher didn’t feel the need to use any of the calming supplies we sent, and said that Trevor did well! He was extremely kind, especially when we got held up a bit in traffic, and we look forward to booking with him again!
This was our boxer Peanut’s second time staying with Shantalee and it was again wonderful. She is attentive, sends tons of photos and drops in with notes just to let you know your pup is doing okay. She lives in a great apartment in an easy area to get to, not congested for good walks with dogs, only 5 minutes off the interstate. We drive out of our way (over an hour) when visiting family in the area just to make sure Peanut gets time with Shantalee!!
John was amazing! Super responsive, even to a last-minute/ day-of booking! He took wonderful care of our lil Roxy, and sent lots of updates and photos throughout the days, which we so appreciated :) She’s 15 years old and can sometimes be a little skiddish, but she took right to him and he made her feel right at home. He’s a great dog sitter and was very kind and caring, will definitely be booking with him again!
She was so accommodating of my dogs needs and personality. She made sure he was fed on time, walked, and ready for pick up. She responds quick to all messages, and was able to fit me in last minute. She made sure to send cute videos of him and kept me updated on their day. I would highly recommend her as a great sitter. I’m definitely going to ask her to watch my dog again! :)
Emily was so fantastic with my rotti, Kenna. She is a rescue who has been with me for 5 years, but had a few homes before, and never been away from me overnight, so I was a little nervous about leaving her. Emily was very reassuring and they got along at the initial meet and greet and I could see that Emily has a very calm demeanor that is great for an anxious doggo. While I was away she sent me daily updates with lots of pictures and let me know how my girl was doing which I definitely appreciated. I would definitely recommend Emily and trust her to watch my pup in the future.
