About: 🐾 I’m absolutely obsessed with cats—and honestly, that’s the biggest reason I’m here. Rover isn’t just a side thing for me… I genuinely love spending time with cats and getting to know all their unique personalities. At home, I care for three cats of my own, so I understand everything from playtime energy to quiet, independent moods. I’m also known locally as a stray cat feeder and caretaker, and I always keep cat food in my car—because you truly never know when a hungry kitty might need help. Caring for animals isn’t something I “turn on”—it’s just part of who I am every day. While cats are my specialty, I’ve recently been spending more time around dogs as well and have become increasingly comfortable and confident with them. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to different temperaments, whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. When you trust me with your pet, you’re getting someone who is: ✔️ Reliable & responsive ✔️ Gentle, patient, and detail-oriented ✔️ Experienced with multiple-cat households ✔️ Truly passionate about animal care I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own—with love, respect, and close attention to their needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’ve got it covered. I’m also very flexible and able to travel, so feel free to reach out with whatever you need—I’m happy to make it work!! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

“Debbie was AMAZING! She will definitely be my go-to sitter from now on. She was so kind accommodating my last-minute request and answered all of my questions. Im usually so anal about who I leave my dogs with and schedule meet-and-greets well I’m advance, but something popped up last minute and she was She has a HUGE beautiful fenced in yard that my dogs went crazy for. Her two sweet chihuahuas were great company. Could not recommend more.”

“Maggie was the perfect sitter for our pup. She was communicative, sending videos of our dog and reassuring us that everything was going great while we were gone. Our dog came back better behaved than we left her!!!”

About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats for my entire life. After losing my beloved shihtzu 6 years ago I decided I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. I foster pets, dogsit/housesit board and walk dogs and I have a flexible schedule. I love dogs of all sizes but I only have space in my own home for dogs under 20lbs. I am available to do home checks and midday walks. I am available for overnights or weekends stays. I will of course follow your rules for whether pets are allowed on the furniture but as far as I am concerned, your pets are family and in my home they can go anywhere that I can go! If you’re looking for someone calm, dependable and responsible, look no further! I have a flexible schedule and can be available for midday walks, dinner, enrichment, and overnights. I love field trips and fun adventures with your pup and can also just hang out if they need companionship. I do not have any pets of my own so that I can dedicate my time to pet sitting and fostering. This enables me to host small pets in my home or to stay with pets for extended periods such as vacations.

“Samantha is awesome. She stayed with my cat Azi for a whole week, and sent very regular updates and photos. She communicated quickly when needed - I could trust that I could reach her if I needed to, and that she would reach out to me if anything came up. Most importantly, I could tell that Azi was calm and happy with her, which gave me so much peace of mind! He was chill (not too desperate for affection) when I got home, and the house was clean and tidy. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.”

“Hannah was absolutely wonderful with my three cats while I was away. Even my shy cats were responsive to her care and they were all happy to play with her. I got pictures every day and could see that they were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend/rebook Hannah!”

“Alicia did a wonderful job watching and feeding all of our kitty’s. She is very responsive and does a lot for our babies. Appreciate her every time we go away!”

“Linda did a great job taking care of our cats. She communicated the throughout the time with updates and pics. Kitties were happy and seemed well cared for. Would definitely be happy to have Linda next time we have to be away!! Thanks Linda.”

“Debra is fantastic! We have requested her services multiple times and each time she has treated our cats with love, care, and professionalism. She has a way of creating such a special bond with them. She sends the cutest pictures and goes above and beyond. Whenever we are out of town there’s never a question of who we want to watch our cats — it’s Debra! Thank you Debra, you’re the best! Our cats think so, too!”

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. I occasionally have weekdays open as my work schedule allows and I will have Fridays available for part of the summer. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

I understand that every cat has their own personality and needs. I also have experience administering medication and providing extra care when needed. Feel free to reach out with any special requests!
“Sophia did an amazing job watching my 2 dogs! She sent detailed updates, lots of photos, and went above and beyond to make sure they felt comfortable while I was gone for 10 days. She maintained a high level of communication and I never had to worry. I highly recommend her for taking care of any pet you need!”

“Nicole went above and beyond for our two cats while we were out of town for almost 2 weeks, including staying extra time to try and find our super shy cat, and helping us rig up a camera to watch her eat to make sure she was doing well. She also brought in our mail and a couple packages while we were gone which was a huge help. Both cats were well cared for, even though one never made an appearance!!”

“Jaanice was awesome with Chai. From the moment Chai walked in the door she was comfortable and made herself at home. Jannice updated me through pictures and messages. Would definitely book with her again! 🤍”

“Was great with our 2 cats. Feed, them both, and gave medicine to our Lucky. Spent time petting and playing with them. Arrived on time, and sent pictures of our precious babies. We will hire again. The cats each gave her 2 paws up. :)”

“I had a great experience with Laney! I was away for two weeks, and she took excellent care of my cats. She sent me pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I live and breathe dogs — training, sports, and overall enjoyment are my passion. Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

“Kateri is amazing! I needed to come into town at the last minute for a court appearance, and she was able to cheerfully meet me and my dog in front of the courthouse and take him on a fantastic outing. She had a plan to take him on a nature walk, which was far better than anything I could’ve imagined for him. He came back nicely, tuckered out and snoozed in the back of the car the whole drive home.”

“We have used Sheronda two times within the last couple of months. We have nothing but praise for her and her family as well as the care she has given to our Elly. She was also understanding when we had a medical emergency on our most recent trip. We love how many updates and pictures we get. You won't get a better dog sitter anywhere. We look forward to using her service again.”

“Maggie was the perfect sitter for our pup. She was communicative, sending videos of our dog and reassuring us that everything was going great while we were gone. Our dog came back better behaved than we left her!!!”

“Samantha and her partner were absolutely amazing. They are the best sitters I have met by far. I 10000/10 recommend. Samantha updated me throughout my dog's stay. I will definitely rebook.”

“Albert was great with our dog, Bowie. He accommodated a Meet & Greet beforehand and got to know our needs, as well as give us an introduction to him and his space. He was responsive throughout our dog's 2-night stay with him, and kept us updated with pictures and videos. We would definitely use him again!”

“Chelsea and Christopher were wonderful with our 2 pups. This is the first time we’ve had to leave our dogs outside of staying with family so I was nervous and hesitant. They calmed all my fears and took great care of our dogs— one of which also has some special needs. If we come back to upstate NY, we will definitely be booking with them again! Thank you!!”

“Kevinh was a phenomenal dog sitter. He was available last minute to watch our small dog. He took Kona on several long walks, send many pictures and regular updates. Great communication. Kona was extremely comfy and cared for ! I would 100% recommend Kevinh!”

“Our two pups had the best time with Margaret. She sent daily updates and pictures so we knew about all of their daily activities and how they were doing. We felt very comfortable with the dogs being in her care. We would definitely recommend Margaret to others in need of a dog sitter.”
“Chrissy did an amazing job caring for our puppy Rosie. She sent updates and pictures of Rosie playing with toys, doing zoomies in her house and generally being her spirited, lively self in Chrissy’s home. Chrissy’s fenced backyard was a bonus. She was so kind, thorough and responsible, we felt very comfortable leaving our sweet Rosie with Chrissy. Highly recommend!!”

“Cong was very sweet, she had three other dogs that were very happy when we arrived with Becky. Her yard is perfect for the dogs to run around in a fenced area. Her neighborhood was super quiet, and the road dead ended at her house, which I thought was great for Becky to have a calm area to be in while we were away. She sent us a photos throughout the day. All in all it was a perfect spot for our beloved pooch.”
