“Cali usually is uncomfortable with new people and I always dread leaving her, but whatever Kirsten is doing it works. Cali is actually excited to go to daycare and that is a load off of me! Thank you, Kirsten and Rover!”

“This is the most welcoming and joyful home. One of the highlights is that my pup gets to play in secret paradise. You’ll understand if you book. I hope to reconnect with them soon. It’s so rare when the space and the family are absolute treasures.”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life -- both my own dogs and as the go-to sitter for friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. Across my extensive time caring for dogs, I have gained experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am particularly good with nervous or timid dogs, and I am very comfortable with dogs who have special medical needs. Last year I had to say goodbye to my own greatly beloved dog after two years of very intense cancer care. While I am not ready for a new dog of my own yet, I am eager to shower other people's dogs with affection and care. I have a very flexible schedule and am available for dog care most days. On days listed as available, I am able to spend almost all of the time at home with the dog(s). I do not currently have any other animals in the home, and your dog will receive my full attention! I have a wide variety of dog beds for them to try out and toys for them to play with.

“Don’t hesitate for a second. Arman knows dogs! My dog Rosie fell in love with Arman and we are forever changed by his kindness. Rosie spend Wednesdays with Arman and family for 15 weeks and became a more well-rounded confident dog after suffering abuse as a pup. We are so thankful to me you! ❤️ 🐕”

“Adrian was amazing! She was super flexible with my changing plans. I love that she gave a full update at the end of the stay so I knew he was in good hands! Totally recommend:)”

“Yantian is super kind and has really good and calm energy. Nezu is a bit shy and gets nervous in new environments, but Yantian was really attentive and accommodating to her needs and made her feel at ease. Definitely recommended!”

“Ashley took great care of Momoco. She was always responsive whenever I texted her. I am incredibly grateful that she treated my baby as if she were her own. I will definitely book with her again if I come to LA in the future!”

“Isaiah was great with our two dogs (husky and 1 year old akita/husky/german shepard mix.) We would definitely go back to him if we were going to be in San Diego again.”

“Eva (aka Susie) has watched my fur son for the past 4 years. There is no place Baby would rather be when I am away! I also am at complete ease knowing he is in her care. Susie is very conscientious about taking care of animals . She is loving, attentive, and extremely engaging with her own animals and her fur guests! If you need a comfortable, safe and reliable environment for your fur children, I would say look no further. Thank you for all the loving care Susie! ❤️ The BEST.”

About: Howdy! I've been on rover for a few years now. I briefly stopped in 2023 and then in 2024 I moved down to SD. Now that my pooch and I are settled in we are ready to dog sit again! Throughout my time with Rover I developed a number of regular folks that trusted their dogs with me and my pooch. I have one dog, Butler. He's 8 and is a loving and patient dalmatian. And as you can see in the photos uploaded he definitely enjoys the dog company 🐾 See below for my work schedule :) I work in the office two days a week and work from home the other 3. On the work days in the office I am gone the whole time so I ask that your pooch is well acclimated to being able to be left alone for that extended period of time I live in an apartment right now that has plenty of parks around it so to make sure the dogs get exercise we can either go on long walks at least twice a day or go to the nearby parks

“Emmy responded very promptly. Very warm and welcoming for Zuko. Sent pictures of Zuko happy during her stay with Emmy. Would recommend and rehire her services next time I’m in San Diego! Thank you Emmy.”

“Sydney was incredibly accommodating for a last minute request and Luna loved having another doggy to play with. Plenty of photo updates and Luna came home happy and tired. 10/10 would use Sydney again :)”

About: Hi! My name is Taylor and I live in the East Village. I just moved here and used to do Rover in Philadelphia. I also volunteered at no-kill shelters there and in college. At Penn State, I took animal science classes where I learned about animal behavior and proper pet care. I grew up with a wonderful English black Labrador retriever. While I am not a pet owner (yet), I am here to help you keep your pets healthy and happy. I'm looking forward to meeting them! I'm available for mid-day and evening walks since I work from home most of the time. I love spending time walking around the city and going to parks and I'd love to have some canine company! I’m available for drop in visits because of my fair flexible schedule. For drop-ins, I prefer it to be within walking distance since I dont have a car.
