About: I'm a lifelong dog lover and have been the go-to sitter for family, friends and neighbors for nearly two decades. I work fully remote from my downtown San Diego home, so I'm here all day. I only take one client's dog at a time so that means your pup gets my full attention. My own 7-year-old mini schnauzer and 18-year-old cat are very social and welcoming to visiting dogs. Daily life here includes at least three 20–30 minute walks near the waterfront, enrichment puzzles, and optional trips to the dog park behind our condo if your pup enjoys it. I have a stroller for hot days to protect paws, and on rainy days we focus on short potty breaks and indoor play. Looking forward to giving your dog a blissfully entertained, well-loved stay while you're away! References are available on request.. I work full time from home and am available for daycare and overnight boarding seven days a week. I can be flexible on drop-off and pick-up times. Crate time is brief (30–45 minutes at most, for when I’m running errands) and I keep a Ring camera on while I'm out. Overnights are in a sanitized guest crate. Livewell Animal Hospital is on the first floor of my building, with two more vets within 5–7 minutes if there's ever a need for medical attention.

About: Located in Sherman Heights near East Village and Golden Hill, perfect for long walks and fresh air. I recently lost my 8-year-old lab/pitty mix and am hoping to continue engaging with dogs while dealing with the loss. I have also fostered rescue dogs, am experienced with highly energetic dogs, and injured or disabled dogs. I've always loved animals and thought this would be a fantastic way to earn additional money and do something I love. Eager to provide a place of love and attention for dogs temporarily separated from their owners. It's stressful enough to be away from your pet without worrying if a kennel will provide them enough attention and engagement. I can't wait to meet you and your pet! I work from home full time so can give your dog all the love and attention they need. My schedule is pretty flexible and I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. I prefer to take dogs out at least twice daily for walks, including one longer scent walk where we let their nose lead the way. I live close to downtown San Diego and can easily walk to East Village or Gaslamp which is are extremely dog friendly areas. I have a small fenced-in yard and can easily crate your dog if necessary. I have experience administering oral medications if necessary and always keep a well stocked pet first aid kit in my home and car. If caring for your pet in your home, I can adapt easily to their routine and will meet your pet at their comfort level.

Krista was absolutely wonderful! She is so kind, welcoming, and attentive. Romeo took to her easily, and I felt comfortable knowing he was in such caring hands. She paid close attention to all of my requests and the little details about Romeo as he is an older dog, followed his schedule, and kept me updated throughout his stay with frequent communication and pictures. I also loved that her dog, Doug, was so sweet, and the two of them became buddies! 🐾🤍 I especially appreciate Krista’s flexibility and willingness to accommodate my last minute boarding needs. Excellent! Helped me understand the personality of the other dogs that would be boarding with . Chau provided lots of photos and she had a wonderful positive attitude. My dog walked up to her place, wagging his tail. Many walks were provided and wonderful indoor and outdoor sunshine space. Dog and human approved.
Gaby truly loves what she does. From our first meeting / meet and greet, I saw how much effort she puts into making pups feel comfortable in her home (and in turn, helping their humans feel safe leaving their dogs in her care!). “Auntie” Gaby made the entire experience seamless, and my pup was safe + well cared for during her stay. I hope to utilize Gaby again in the future.
We had Melissa watch our two dogs over a weekend. She is fantastic, our dogs loved her, she communicated well, sent frequent updates and we just had full trust that our pups were in great hands with her! They came back very calm and relaxed which is always a positive sign for us.
Bridgette was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of Mookie and made sure he had the best weekend! She sent us so many pictures and updates throughout his stay. It was so clear that he was having the best time and getting lots of love and attention ☺️🐶 We couldn’t recommend Bridgette enough and would absolutely book with her again!
It was our first time using Maria for dog sitting/ boarding. Of course, we were nervous since its the first time with someone new. Maria made us feel soo comfortable right from the start. She was so communicative and provided us with multiple updates and tons of photos throughout the stay! She even had to help give medication to one of our dogs , and was able to handle it , no problem. She was also super flexible with drop off/ pick up so that was much appreciated. We will absolutely be using Maria for our pet sitting needs in the future and would highly recommend her !! Thanks again Maria!!!!
There are no words to describe just how incredible Marissa is. We booked her very last minute as our planned pet care fell through. She was responsive and flexible right off the bat. While on vacation some other plans changed and Marissa was available and helped us coordinate pick up of Moxie and her stuff from our apartment. Due to the changes our girl was a little confused and anxious but after a day with Marissa she was back to herself. We appreciated the updates and photos from them daily. We truly got the sense that Moxie was hanging out with her new best friend. She was cared for and was in great spirits when we got back home. Marissa saved our vacation and took amazing care of our fur baby. Would recommend and will be happy to book her in the future!
