I’m a lifelong dog parent, young retiree, and GoodPup Certified Trainer specializing in positive reinforcement and canine behavior. Because my husband and I are retired with flexible schedules, pet care is our full focus — not something managed alongside meetings or a remote job. We're home most of the day, providing consistent supervision, calm structure, and truly individualized attention — especially for rescue, shy, or anxious dogs who need extra patience and understanding. We intentionally limit the number of dogs we host so each pup receives focused attention, engaging walks, enrichment activities, and plenty of downtime in a secure home with a fenced yard. You’ll receive thoughtful daily updates with videos and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. As fellow dog parents, we know how hard it can be to leave your pup in someone else’s care. We use Rover sitters for our own dogs, so we understand exactly what brings true peace of mind—clear communication, safety, and attentive care. While your dog is in our home, they become part of our family. As a GoodPup Certified Trainer (GCT), I understand how dogs think, learn, and communicate, and I incorporate that knowledge into every interaction. During your dog’s stay, I’m happy to reinforce basic manners, leash skills, and calm behaviors using reward-based, confidence-building techniques—so your pup not only has fun but continues learning in a supportive, low-pressure way. Our goal isn’t just to “watch” your dog. It’s to ensure they feel safe, understood, and truly loved while you’re away. Just as importantly, we want you to be able to relax and fully enjoy your time away, knowing your dog is receiving attentive, thoughtful care.
