Stay-at-home with big backyard!
I’m a lifelong dog parent, young retiree, and GoodPup Certified Trainer specializing in positive reinforcement and canine behavior. Because my husband and I are retired with flexible schedules, pet care is our full focus — not something managed alongside meetings or a remote job. We're home most of the day, providing consistent supervision, calm structure, and truly individualized attention — especially for rescue, shy, or anxious dogs who need extra patience and understanding. We intentionally limit the number of dogs we host so each pup receives focused attention, engaging walks, enrichment activities, and plenty of downtime in a secure home with a fenced yard. You’ll receive thoughtful daily updates with videos and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. As fellow dog parents, we know how hard it can be to leave your pup in someone else’s care. We use Rover sitters for our own dogs, so we understand exactly what brings true peace of mind—clear communication, safety, and attentive care. While your dog is in our home, they become part of our family. As a GoodPup Certified Trainer (GCT), I understand how dogs think, learn, and communicate, and I incorporate that knowledge into every interaction. During your dog’s stay, I’m happy to reinforce basic manners, leash skills, and calm behaviors using reward-based, confidence-building techniques—so your pup not only has fun but continues learning in a supportive, low-pressure way. Our goal isn’t just to “watch” your dog. It’s to ensure they feel safe, understood, and truly loved while you’re away. Just as importantly, we want you to be able to relax and fully enjoy your time away, knowing your dog is receiving attentive, thoughtful care.

Robin was amazing taking care of our unusually terrified little pooch. It’s so hard finding care for shy dogs, and I give Robin two enthusiastic thumbs up for taking care of ours!

Maggie loves to stay with Robin and Rahn. She can be nervous and they do a great job making her feel comfortable. They are great with communication and sending photos and messages.
Our tiny trio, Sofee, Sylly & Sammy, stayed with Robin & Rahn for 9 days while we were on a cruise, and they did a wonderful job of keeping us updated with fun photos and videos. Robin & Rahn were very kind to us and accommodated us when we had a flight change, for which we are VERY GRATEFUL. Our furbabies were calm and happy when we arrived to pick them up and take them home, which made us happy. Our furbabies are seniors who need to take meds every day, and Robin & Rahn accommodated, giving them their meds and feeding them all their food. We are happy with the services provided and hope to hire them again in the future. 😊🐶🐶🐶♥️
Robin & Rahn are amazing! Our dog, Mookie, had the best time. We received tons of pics and videos throughout the weekend - plenty of walks, exploring and playing fetch! We couldn’t recommend them more ☺️

Harmonogram
My husband and I are young retirees with flexible schedules, which means pet care is the priority — not something we're squeezing in between meetings. Unlike sitters who work remotely during the day, we're able to provide consistent supervision and plenty of one-on-one attention. We're home the majority of the day, so they’ll never be left alone for long stretches and can settle into a calm, safe, and attentive environment.

I’ve spent my entire life around dogs—caring for my own from childhood through adulthood and lovingly looking after the dogs of friends and family. Many of the dogs in my life have been rescues, including my own, which has given me a deep appreciation for the fact that not every pup is naturally easygoing. Creating a sense of safety is always my top priority. Our home is calm and designed with comfort in mind. We have a large, securely fenced yard with real grass for safe play, room to run, and sunny spots perfect for relaxing. Inside, your dog will enjoy air conditioning during warm summer days and central heating (plus a cozy fireplace) for those cooler winter evenings.

If your pup is energetic, they will receive structured enrichment designed to channel their energy in healthy, positive ways. They’ll enjoy supervised play sessions, fetch and training games in our secure fenced yard, leashed walks up to and around Golden Hill Park, and stimulating neighborhood walks that keep both their bodies active and their minds engaged. Balanced rest breaks are built in to help them recharge between adventures. If your pup is senior or more relaxed, they will enjoy attentive, calm care tailored to their pace. They can bask in the sun in our secure fenced yard, take leisurely sniff-filled neighborhood strolls, and enjoy a car ride to Golden Hill Park. Plenty of cozy downtime ensures they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home.
