About: I’m an animal lover who has owned various small and big dogs, eg Yorkies, Labs, etc., for most of my life. I’ve also owned a few indoor only cats over the years. I work from home (M-F) 95% of the time unless I’m traveling for work/holiday, which is about twice a year. I’m also available for most of the major holiday seasons. I have a home, with a large fenced in yard. I have one 13 yrs., 24lb, Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix named Thumper. He’s very docile and gets along with most dogs, especially dogs his size. Since I work from home, he can use a friend or two to spice things up for him before I take everyone out for daily morning and evening walks around the neighborhood. All dogs are welcome to cuddle on the sofas and beds. My home is clean and tidy with lots of comfortable dog beds and backyard space for zoomies! There’s also a large toy box full of fun toys for your pet to take home one souvenir at their first Dogcation or Dayplay adventure. Check out my guest photos! Daily pictures/videos for the owners and each pet receives their own report card on their stay. I can offer 1:1 time with your fur baby. I’m very organized and flexible for any last minute changes to drop-off/pickup times.

About: I've taken care of numerous pets over the years, mostly medium to large size dogs, but also cats and smaller dogs. I will follow your exact instructions for your pet(s). I currently work at home as a tax preparer. I have been traveling back and forth from Ga to FL for the past year because my Mom is in assisted living in FL and I want to be here as much as possible for her. I am staying at her house in Melbourne when I am in FL. I'm usually in FL for 4 - 8 weeks at a time, then back to GA for a month and then back to FL. I have plenty of free time to take care of pets when I am in Melbourne. I live by myself in FL with no pets. I am never away from the house more than 2 or 3 hours when I'm pet sitting so your furbabies get lots of attention. There is a park nearby where I can walk your pet on a regular basis. I also go outside on a regular basis and bring the dogs with me for a stroll around the yard.

Additional experience with high-energy dogs, like herding and working breeds. Open availability throughout the weekend with lesser flexibility on weekdays for boarding and daycare. Contact me if weekdays are needed, and I'm sure we can agree on something that works! Dog Walking: I ensure your dog’s safety by walking routes on quiet streets in the area. Depending on trails and parks near you, I’m open to walking/ playing with your pup in different environments besides neighborhood streets, like taking a trip to the dog park if one is within walking distance! Confirmation of this is required beforehand to ensure the safety of your dog when coming in contact with other pets. Additionally, I do not bring any other people or animals with me. Day Care: Although I live in an apartment complex, I have a large dog park and many safe routes for walks. Your dog will receive ample exercise in addition to socialization and play with my own pup!
