“Our pups get so excited when Mary Kay comes to watch them. It can be a drop in our overnight. They are so happy. We know that they are in amazing hands, and we don't need to worry about their care. They are already looking forward to the next time she comes to visit.”

“Callie took such good care of our two cats while we were camping this weekend. Both our kitties are on the shy side, but Callie won them over so quickly. This was the longest we’ve left our youngest cat (6 Mo), and he required antibiotics via syringe twice a day. Callie visited them two times each day, and was able to give our cat his medicine without any issues. She sent us updates and photos every visit. I highly recommend working with Callie!”

“Randi was incredible. Very responsive and professional. You can tell Randi absolutely loves what she does. 10/10 stars!!! Roxy will for sure be wanting Randi as a babysitter again!”

“Heather was awesome. She took such great care of Sam and went the extra mile to make sure that my home was taken care of, too. She’s super prompt and courteous, will definitely be reaching out to her for future trips. Thanks, Heather!”

“Jeannette provides great updates and so much peace of mind that our cat is in great hands. On top of taking great care of pets, she takes great pictures as well!”

“Katie was very easy to work with and communicative. She only needed a short tour to understand what is needed. I plan to rebook with her in the future.”

“Our cat loves having Erica stop by when we were on vacation. She sent us pictures of them hanging out outside and overall updates. When we came back everything was taken care of, litter scooped, plenty of food still and water refilled. We'll be booking her again the future!”

About: Hi! I’m Daniella — a dog lover and active walker based in downtown Detroit. I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, and I treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or quiet couch time, I will make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy. My work is flexible so I can give your dog plenty of attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and notes after each walk or visit. I live downtown and have a flexible work schedule so I am easily able to go on walks, runs, or be home whenever it’s planned for. I live in a spacious apartment near capitol park dog park and the river walk. I have a car so I'm happy to host here or go to you.
“Lukis was very kind and efficient with getting back to me. My situation was different I was in a state of urgency bc my pets were not being cared for properly while I was gone and booked her the night before and she came to help my babies I’m so appreciative and will be booking with them from now on.”

“Ariel was a great to work with. A strong communicator, animal lover and very punctual. I knew Frootie was getting great care and extra pets while I was away. I would highly recommend Ariel!”

“Joseph was extremely accommodating and helpful while we were abroad for a week and a half. He sent pictures, ran by the house to do me a favor, and made sure the cats were well taken care of. I definitely recommend.”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.
About: Hi there! I grew up with cats but l'm also a dog lover. I dog sit my friends’ corgi and husky sometimes so I decided to join this platform. I also love going to the dog park and think it's the happiest place on earth! I have worked remotely since 2020 and I love that dog walking is built in exercise. I also am more than happy to drop in and dog sit. I live in a secure, pet friendly apartment building with a fenced in track area for dogs. It’s conveniently located in midtown Detroit, Michigan with safe places to go for walks.
“Ashton took great care of my baby princess! I received consistent updates and photos allowing me to fully enjoy my trip without any worries. She was patient and friendly with my cat who is usually a bit hostile, making re-booking a no brainer. It’s very reassuring to find trustworthy pet care and I am so grateful for her services!”

About: I’m currently a student and working from from home and love dogs to my core. I have a 5 year old toy poodle named Mason. He’s so sweet & playful and he’s always looking for another puppy to play with. I have had experience with dogs my entire life, but in college I decided to get one of my own and I have no regrets yet! I will make sure your pet receives endless love and affection, long walks, loads of fun and trips to the dog park to mix and mingle. Safety of your pet is my priority so there’s no need to worry while they’re under my watch. I understand how stressful it can be to find someone you trust with your baby, so I will be sure to keep you updated throughout our day. I enjoy taking photos of my dog and nature so expect pictures updates as well. I am super flexible so for whatever you need, don’t hesitate to ask! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! I’m available for daily walks, drop in visits and boarding. I work from home so I have the time and flexibility to care for your pet and give them the attention they need throughout the day. I am very respectful of your space and your dog and their’s. Making sure only do what I am advised to and anything outside of that I’d check with the owner prior.
About: Take some time for yourself. I miss having a pup in my life, have cared for dogs all of my life, and will love your little bug like they were my own. Cuddles are endless! I am comfortable administering medications and dealing with special needs (as my last pup was very special :)). I am also pretty active so lots of attention, sniffs, squirrel chasing, and long walks will be a part of your pups time with me. Potty breaks are every 2 hours, with a last one right before bed. I will take care of your home and fur-baby like my own I'd love to help you out with your pet-sitting needs. I am happy to send pictures and videos of their stay, just let me know!!! I am currently working part time with a flexible schedule. I’m available for walks and check-ins throughout the day and will happily play with them and feed them as you need I have two cats at home who are not super socialized with dogs. I keep all animals separated with the guest having free range of most of my place.
Medical Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lukis was AMAZING! My girl cat, Gladys, really warmed up to Lukis in almost no time at all. She kept me up to date on everything and sent me great photos. I usually have so much anxiety around leaving my cats with a sitter, but not this time. I WILL be a repeat customer.

Erik is so great with my cat. He takes great care of her and goes above and beyond to look out for my entire household. My dog has been gone the last couple of drop ins, but I look forward to Erik taking care of her too. He is clearly a natural animal lover and will care for your pet as if it’s his own.

Breanna is absolutely amazing to work with. I could tell she cared about my cat, and was genuinely concerned with her wellbeing. Breanna was willing to step up and help when I needed her to do an extra drop in last minute. She gave me so much peace of mind on my vacation, and I will absolutely be using her again for my next trip. 11/10.

Naomi was diligent and attentive to our new cat who played a tough game of hide and seek each time she arrived to check on him. Instead of throwing her hands up and saying she couldn’t find him, she took the extra effort of searching (high and low) to make sure he was doing well. We can’t thank Naomi enough for putting our minds at ease while we were on vacation. Thank you, Naomi!

Had Jordan pop in to take care of my cat Mimi. Followed, her routine and was amazing with her. He did an incredible job sending update photos, and making sure she was comfortable. I cannot say enough about how happy both my partner and I were to have Jordan look after our kitty.
