About: 10+ years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, sizes and ages have taught me that every dog really is one-of-a-kind, and I honor all of their unique personalities and needs. I do sincerely respect dogs, but I always have so much fun spending time with them! I’m a student, and I’m busy with class from 12:30-4 M-TH, so I have the most free time during mornings and evenings. I live in an apartment with my very gentle 8 year old poodle, who I’ve noticed is a comforting presence to nervous dogs. I live a very short walk away from a great dog park.

About: I worked at Premier Pet Supply for a year and a half, and LOVE dogs!! I am also very active and am used to walking my 50lb pitbull who knows how to pull😂 I am currently a full-time student who works a part-time job! I have a cat who I love and care for, as well as my mother’s dog and numerous family friends who I enjoy pet-sitting for. I am very active so walks are always fun, and I can watch pets overnight as needed! I am in an apartment right now, so dogs would transparently be difficult to board, but in a clients home I have historically done very well! I work 7 hour days 4 days a week currently, which can be adjusted as needed for clients and their pets comfort. I am also very good at following instruction and caring for animals- I used to work at a pet store!

“I don't like leaving my dogs with other people. They both have reactivity issues, and sometimes over-stimulation can cause them to fight with each other. When the dogs and I met Alicyn, I was flustered and it was hard for me to articulate how they are both extremely easy dogs yet they can have very serious fights. Alicyn took it all in stride, and she wasn't worried at all. During the actual drop-in, everything went smoothly! She is an amazing caretaker and the dogs must have understood that, because she said they were perfect and she wants to see them again! I'm super comfortable leaving them with her, whether it's a drop-in or an extended stay.”

About: I've been around dogs most of my life, while taking care of 3 of my own. I'm currently training my dog to build a stronger bond. I'm currently working full time and training my dog daily. I have availability on weekends and weekday evenings as needed. Let me know what you're looking for. I will work on building trust with your fur baby, allowing them time to adjust to a new person in their space. I need to know their likes, dislikes, and routine if they have one.

About: I love all animals and grew up with dogs, both rescues, one big one small. Although I don’t have a pet of my own now, Rover gives me the chance to give care and spend time with the furry friends that give us unconditional love. I’m currently working freelance so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule, and time to spend giving attention to your pets and whatever needs they have. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe in their own space. My first priority is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable with me.

“Hanan is a great dogsitter for Frankie! She checks in on her & makes sure she gets a chance to run around and play. She sends lots of pictures so we feel good to see that Frankie is having fun. Hanan brings special skills to the job because of her dog training knowledge. Our dog barks and barks at new people, but Hanan is good at navigating the challenge. I saw Frankie warm up pretty fast during the meet and greet. 🩷”

I currently own my own mental health practice and work from home doing virtual client visits. I have a flexible schedule that can accommodate your individual needs. I am able bodied and can travel to you for animal care. I require an in person meeting ahead of caregiving services to establish trust with both you and the animals and to ensure it is a good fit. If overnights are required, I will need access to Internet in order to work from the home.
