About: My name is Ariel! I’m an attentive and responsible pet lover residing in Midtown Detroit. I am a registered nurse with an extremely flexible schedule. My partner and I currently have 2 cats. I have previously adopted and fostered dogs and have volunteer experience walking dogs in the shelter setting. I have years of experience caring for the pets of friends, family, and neighbors, and I am coming up on a year of experience using rover. I am allergic to cats, so I am only available for dog bookings. My schedule will be super flexible after 2/20/26 :) I am sadly living in a small apartment currently, but I’d be happy to care for dogs in a client’s home. I’m super type A and communicative. I love sending pictures throughout the day so you don’t need to worry about your pet while you’re away! I follow feeding schedules closely, provide walks and potty breaks as needed, give medications when needed, and crate pets if requested. My goal is always to keep each pet's routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I keep my calendar updated regularly and have open availability most days. For longer stays, 12–24 hours' notice is appreciated. On Monday and Wednesday evenings I have limited availability, but please communicate with me and we can make something work. I will go above and beyond to make sure you are stress free! My calendar is always up to date, so what you see is what's available, no surprises! I'm generally very flexible and love being able to say yes. For overnight stays or multi-day bookings, a little heads-up of 12–24 hours helps me make sure your pet gets my full attention. About: Hello! My name is Avery ..... I have had dogs all throughout my life and plan to keep it that way! As a kid I grew up with with two beagles, a chocolate lab, a pit bull, and most recently a rescue shar pei/ lab mix. I love seeing every animals personality shine through and spoiling them with love and attention. Each one of my dogs has loved the outdoors (almost as much as me) and had lives full of adventure and exercise. I have also lived with cats and love them (through my previous roommate). I love animals of all breeds and sizes and would love the chance to meet yours! I am a current student so my schedule is semi flexible at the moment. Currently unavailable/working Tuesday evenings (although i pick up other shifts when im able). I try my best to keep my calendar updated to reflect my availability, please reach out if you have any questions! About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for animals in my social circle. I've cared for pets across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I used to work as a volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and have experience with lots of different pets and situations. I currently live with a 3-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. Please reach out if there is anything in particular you want to discuss in advance! I am available for walks and drop-ins on most days between 8am - 4pm. My calendar reflects my availability during that timeframe. I can accommodate most sitting requests if your pet can be left alone for brief periods. (If you are looking for evening care on a day marked unavailable, please feel free to get in touch, as I am often available after 5pm on those days, but the app doesn’t allow the calendar to reflect this). When your pet is in my care I treat them like they are my own. I love getting to know their quirks and if you have any specific routines for them that I can help maintain while you’re away!

About: With 12 years of pet care experience and a house full of my own, I provide loving, responsible, and attentive care for your pet. Having had dogs, cats, even jellyfish, hamsters, bunnies and chickens of my own I understand the importance of finding attentive care for your pets. I currently care for my dog which I take on walks around noon and feed him accordingly twice a day as well as my jellyfish but they don’t join us on the walks unfortunately 🪼. I am currently on vacation from school and am available almost any day. Pets (dog or cat) are given attentive care, I tend to follow a consistent schedule when it comes to meals, walks and bedtimes which differ for every pet. As well as play time.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, my parents raised seeing eye dogs, and I helped with training and daily care from a young age. In my teens, I helped my mom run a small dog-boarding business out of our home, so I'm used to dogs with all kinds of temperaments and routines. Over the years, I've often been the go-to friend for dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding, whether that's a shy senior or a high-energy handful. I recently lost my own pup, and while l'm not ready for another full-time, I miss having a dog around and love being able to offer that care and attention to someone else's. I'm currently working on fixing up my very old duplex so I'm home, tinkering around most of the time, and my schedule is flexible. If you're worried about your pet being in a construction zone, not to worry! The living area is safe and segmented from anything that might be hazardous yet intriguing to your pet. I have a partially fenced yard, perfect for supervised play. Living in midtown means that there's plenty of interesting things to smell along walks. I can crate your dog if needed, and you're welcome to bring their own if that makes them most comfortable. I have quite a few house plants in my space, so please let me know if your pup is prone to chewing on them and I will move them out of the way for their visit.

About: I have had cats all my life and I foster animals. I had dog sat for friends when I was in high school. I grew up with many dogs around me and definitely know how to give them love! I work weekdays till three but have time in the mornings! I also work in an ice cream shop that’s schedule comes out weekly. I never work Monday nights, Sunday morning, and All day Saturday I don’t have a dog. I do have 2 cats I keep inside always. I would love any animal that I was looking after and know how tragic it would be if I lost mine so I would look out so hard for your animal!

About: I have been taking care of pets almost my whole life. I have watched as little as a kitten to as big as a 120lb dog. I don’t currently have a job so I am almost always available. Some weekends I might be away but very rarely. I will almost always make time to watch your pets I have a fenced in backyard for dogs. I like to spend as much time as possible with my pets. My pets are very friendly.

About: I grew up on a full swing farm outside of Port Huron, MI. We had border collies and Great Pyrenees and I spent many hours exploring and adventuring with them (teaching them to open doors and coral the cows and sheep!) I’m currently working as a freelance artist (pet portraits!) and yoga instructor, so my schedule is very flexible based on the needs of your pet. Whether at my home or yours I am an avid runner/walker and will take your pup for strolls around town. If they enjoy the dog park I’m also happy to incorporate some social hours in to the sitting!

About: My name is Kate and my love for animals is what prompted me to enter the world of pet care. I grew up in a home with dogs and guniea pigs and learned early on how to be responsible in caring for a pet. The Humane Society was close to my childhood home, I would walk there weekly to go in and visit all the different animals and dreamed of owning a bunch one day myself. Later on in my twenties I learned what it was like to have a cat and now am a self proclaimed, obsessed with all the things cat. Currently I have two cats, a spunky Bengal named Benny and a sophisticated tuxedo baby named Olive. My hobbies include weightlifting, walking, yoga, ceramics, listening to podcasts, reading, baking and traveling. I currently work full time Mon-Thurs, 4 days a week which allows me to have, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning or afternoons available for drop-in visits or walking your pet. I currently am not able to board any other animals in my home as I have two cats that prefer to be the only pets.
