She evaluated Clancy's needs each time to determine walk or not (especially when very hot outside), or play instead and worked on commands and provided meal, treats and water. She always provided feedback on Clancy and activities included. We loved the pictures & video she provided with each visit. We'd definitely use Lauren again. Also note that Clancy is a puppy (7 months old & weighs 48+ lbs) with lots of energy and Lauren handled him expertly.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats as a sitter position since I was in middle school for my family. Scheduled feeding, bathroom breaks, medicine, and walks is nothing new for me! Bathing and basic grooming comes with the territory too, if you’d like. Having family and friends that work in animal care has given me the opportunity to have experience with all ages of pets as well as health knowledge. I’m patient with animals of various behavioral needs as well, and have even cared for fish and exotic pets. I’ve personally owned and care for dogs and cats have been a sitter on Rover since 2022. I have a full-time job with varied hours M-F and weekends off, and will absolutely make time for your pet! I’m available for boarding at owners’ homes, walks, check-ins, etc.! I have my own reliable transportation and often travel for work so could even try to work walks or check-ins into my workday. I am very considerate of you and your pet’s comfort. I respect all owners property and security and value them feeling comfortable and respected. There are multiple parks near my own home to take dogs (or cats, if they like that!) to; I’m comfortable having pets in my car or we can walk if it’s close! About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds ranging from Labradors to German Shorthairs and Mastiffs to Miniature American Shepherds. No matter the size, energy level, or special needs you can trust your pet to me. I personally have bred, whelped, and raised two litters of puppies. I am confident in assisting in any potty training of puppies as well. Additionally, having three dogs of my own I know how difficult it can be to leave your dogs in someone else's care. I am very engaged with you during anytime I'm with your dog so you know how they're doing. I work remote and my schedule is very flexible. For the most part I have the ability to set my own schedule. The biggest benefit to me would be to schedule your time with your pet in advance so that I'm able to block that time on my work schedule. I make sure that my pets and the pets that are entrusted into my care are comfortable and content. In order to achieve this I use a variety of tools and tricks such as calm exercise, interactive play, and enrichment activities. I give as much love and attention as they desire without overstimulating or stressing them out. I pay close attention to any indications of stress or other ailments and keep the owners aware of all potential challenges.
