Also have 2 cats in the home who don’t mind dogs as long your dog(s) won’t go after them. I’m home most of the day and your dog(s) would be able to play with Maple, nap on our couches and chill with our family until you get back! I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone. “In short, Taylor is excellent. My cat “Mouse” has some minor medical issues. He requires meds to be given with food, and has some related issues that need specific responses. I gave the basics of his needs in my profile, and then gave more details verbally to Taylor before she took care of him for a few days. During our conversation before care started, she was taking notes, then went over them with me to ensure her notes were accurate. During her time taking care of Mouse, she provided very detailed notes and pictures from her visits. It was clear that she followed my instructions explicitly. She mentioned some things that happened during her visits due to his medical issues, and noted how she responded. It was very comforting to know that she responded correctly, per my instructions, and kept me up to date on how he was doing. It’s clear that she cares about the animals that she takes care of, and knows how to earn their trust. She didn’t push or force herself on Mouse, she gently let him check her out and accept her presence before proceeding to interact more with him. When she interacted with him, she was very perceptive in learning what he likes and doesn’t like. Mouse clearly enjoyed his time with her. Finally, it’s a little scary letting someone you don’t know in to your life and house to take care of your pet. My daughter couldn’t visit as often as needed, and really wanted me to find other friends who could visit Mouse. That’s easier said than done, especially because I travel a lot. After seeing the visit notes and pictures that Taylor provided, Taylor won my daughter over. She could clearly see how well Taylor was taking care of Mouse, and said Taylor took better care of Mouse than she did. I can’t give higher praise than that. I’m looking forward to future trips with Taylor taking care of Mouse.”

I work M-F and have weekends off, getting off in the early afternoon, and will absolutely make time for your pet for their needs throughout the day to the best of my abilities! I’m available for sitting at owners’ homes, taking pets for walks, check-ins, etc. as needed, and I have my own reliable transportation to get it all done. I am very considerate of you and your pet’s comfort. I respect all owners’ property and value their trust, and strive to make you feel comfortable, secure, and respected. I will always leave your home as I found it or better after my time there. With safety in consideration, there are multiple parks near my own home to take dogs (or cats, if they like that!) to; I’m comfortable having pets in my car or we can walk if it’s close! I am incredibly flexible to all your needs, so we will stay home if you wish as well. I want the most stress-free and fun experience for pets and owners alike.
About: Hello, My name is Nikcole. I’ve been around animals my whole life, I was the little girl who always brought stray dogs home and talked my parents into letting us keep them. I currently own a 90lb Golden Retriever named StilestheGR and 2 cats Millie and Montana. I used to operate a dog rescue (the stray saver in me) for 5 years and am proud to say that our operation saved and rehomed over 500 dogs. I love all animals, I would say cats are on my intermediate list of knowledge and dogs are my specialty! My main focus on Rover is dog walking/hiking or even adventure outings but I also do drop-ins and house sitting. I do currently work full-time M-F and typically have early evenings and weekends available to my rover clients. I’m available M-F evenings and all day and night on weekends. I typically only need one day notice for bookings and 3 day notice for cancelations. My current capabilities are walking dogs and house sitting. I will following your instructions exactly as listed and provide updates as many times as you would like to give you peace of mind. I can also provide a list of personal references upon request.

Having raised a Golden Retriever puppy and a German Shepherd, I’m well-versed in puppy manners and the importance of a consistent routine. Also have 2 cats in the home who don’t mind dogs as long your dog(s) won’t go after them. I’m home most of the day and your dog(s) would be able to play with Maple, nap on our couches and chill with our family until you get back! I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone. My daily routine includes exercising my dog in our backyard daily so your dog can join in fetch or fun sniffing or doggy chase, or whatever they want! We have a large fenced backyard, and a sweet female dog to keep yours company. I’m home most of the day, so your pup won’t be left alone.
