“Our dog doesn't have a lot of experience with sitters, and Allison knew just how to patiently interact with her as she warmed up to her new friend. We're also going through a house move, so our pup and cats are going through lots of change. It feels good to know that Allison brings the experience we need as an animal lover.”

“This is the second time I booked with Ariana. She is responsible, shows on time, and listens carefully to the given instructions. I also was informed on how the walks went with Pipa, as she does not warm up easy when she meets new people in general. I will book with her again!”

“McKenzie is great! Confident even with my dog who can exhibit dog aggression and I can tell she really gets joy from spending time with Cully. About: I have been taking care of my own pets as well as my neighbors and friends pets since I was a kid. I have taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, and fish. I am beyond excited to meet and take care of new furry friends! I am currently a student in college with a variety of classes throughout the day, but I have plenty of time to play with and take care of your pets throughout the day and my late afternoons are very free. I always try to make animals feel safe and calm even in their own homes. They can get nervous when a new person is around and I promise to do everything in my power to make sure they have a fun time.

“Austen did a great job with our Tucker. Always on time and did above and beyond in walking him. Loved the rover card. Austen has a great attention to details and documented all they did. Sent us pictures of our buddy. Highly recommend!!!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have hands-on experience caring for pets all of kinds. I have a dog and two cats of my own, volunteer at the local shelter, and have fostered many kittens over the years. Working from home allows me to provide flexible and attentive care to your pets. Whether it's walking, bathing, feeding, training, or administering medication, separation anxiety. Your furry friends will be in loving hands with me! I offer FREE meet and greets to see if I would be a good fit for you and your pet(s)! **I don't have any recent reviews as I took a break from Rover to finish school out of town. I would love to get back into pet sitting as I have more free time now! I work remotely so I can be with your pets at all times of the day. If I am house sitting for you, occasionally I will leave for 1-2 hrs to go to the gym or getting something to eat. If your pet has separation anxiety, please let me know and I will stay with them the whole day. My family has always been pet oriented. I grew up with cats and dogs and know how to approach your pet safely if they are feeling shy. I've been walking dogs for 7+ years so you can be rest assured I will always come well equipped with supplies such as poop bags, leash connector (if you have multiple pups) water and a bowl.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for the past 5 years but my passion for them has been all my life! I’m certified in pet first aid/cpr. I have experience caring for peoples pets in many different environments including shelters, daycares, and walking or pet sitting visits! I’m comfortable with pretty much any animal as long as I get some insight from you prior to the visit! I’d love to meet you and your pets and see if I can provide a service for you! I’m currently between jobs trying to find a better fit for myself. So let me help you with any animal needs you require whether it be walking your pup or just checking in on a different pet in the house! I know how to safely use your pups gear whether that be a harness, head halter, etc. I’m also as stated before trained to read your pups body language through the visit to make sure they are enjoying themselves. As for kittys and other pets I’d love you as the owner to give me some pointers on what your pet likes and how I can positively interact with them :) (animals can be moody little critters!)

About: I have owned a dog my whole life, and I love hanging out with them. Dogs I've interacted with like me as much as I like giving them attention. My current work is flexible, so I can be with your dog whenever they need attention--any time of the day, any day of the week. I am always looking to offer the best experience to the dogs I work with, and I trust in owners to know and communicate what is best for their dog.

About: I've always love caring for animals, in fact I've pet sat on and off since I was a kid as my very first job. Plus I've always had pets of my own, or my family's, to take care of as well. My professional experience includes being a kennel tech & dog daycare worker. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. (In fact my own dog is also my multipurpose service dog.) In addition I have experience caring for cats (an assortment of breeds and ages), geese, chickens, snakes, rodents, fish, bats, squirrels, opossums, and foxes. Any exotic animals that need care are welcome also as I used to be a wildlife rehabilitator & volunteered at WalkingWildRescue .org (a fox rescue & wolf-dog sanctuary). *Note: I no longer take feline clients who need medication due to multiple negative experiences. Cats generally need someone they trust to administer meds, & do not take kindly to strangers (meeting once is not enough).* I charge what I do because: 1. I have to work around Rover's cut. 2. I'm willing to go the extra mile to make sure you don't need to worry about your family while you're gone! This is my only job & I love it, so I'm very dedicated & do take it seriously. My routine involves taking care of my own service dog, so it's easy for me to incorporate another! I'm very flexible, please just give me at least a day notice. While I am not currently able to host, I will treat your home with respect! In addition; Leon, who is my professionally trained service dog, is very friendly so can help provide some socialization for your pup if desired. *Important Note for Dog-Walk Clients*: Due to my disability I am unable to go on walks without my service dog--so in order for me to be the right provider for you, your pet must be dog friendly while at home/on walks. However if you are looking for an extended daytime stay, it isn't necessary that my service dog accompany me & I am very open!

About: I had the privilege of growing up with pets, and learned from a young age how unique and special each animal is. I have experience in positive-reinforcement training and de-escalation of overwhelmed pups. Getting to know each animal is my specialty, whether your pet needs calm cuddles, love from afar, or a good deal of exercise and play, I can give your pets the tailored care they deserve! Ad a remote worker, my schedule is wide open! In September, my classes at Reed College will start up again, but I will still have enough flexibility in my schedule to give your pets the care they deserve. Looking forward to meeting you and your family! With experience pet-sitting for friends, I understand the significance of letting someone into your home. I always make sure I understand your expectations very clearly and make sure to leave your home exactly as you left it. I am always happy to accommodate your comfort in any way I can!

“Tessa is a dedicated hard worker! She’s amazing with animals. Feeding, continuing training, staying on a schedule to reduce animals stress levels. She’s always brings out the animals cute quirks and doesn’t add additional stress to their environment. She’s safe when it comes to handling animals inside the house and outside. 10/10 would recommend for dog walking and pet sitting! My favorite part is her transparency of each animals behaviors. Animals can act different around new people and those who aren’t family. It’s always nice to have someone be honest with how their animals were acting during the service and to be given updates!”

Elijah V.
“Eli and his family have lived near us for many years. A recent high school graduate, Eli is a remarkably reliable and responsible young man. I have hired him to help with projects that I couldn't handle myself, and he did a fabulous job. He lives with and helps take care of a wonderful, large family dog, and does so with gentleness and care. I would not hesitate to hire him to care for any pets of ours, or our house.”

McLoughlin Industrial dog parents share their Rover experiences
New client soon to be regular here! Sequoia did an amazing job taking care of my dog during the heatwave. I appreciated her consideration in avoiding excessive heat exposure and her attention to detail in handling my leash reactive dog. Communication was great, photos are even better. Thanks so much Sequoia!

I really appreciate Ashley. She hung out with my pup during the heat wave and made sure he stayed hydrated. Most importantly, Ashley notified us when she noticed our pup wasn’t being himself and we got the care we needed to for him. She’s a great communicator and I would love to have her again.

My ex and I share custody of our dog - when I knew she was coming to stay for a long stretch and I had to go into work while she was here, I hired Skyler for two weeks of walking/drop-ins. My older lady & Skyler got on just fine - Skyler exhibited excellent communication, was on time for walks, and Annie really seemed to enjoy spending time with her. I would not hesitate to book Skyler again in the future.

This is the second time I booked with Ariana. She is responsible, shows on time, and listens carefully to the given instructions. I also was informed on how the walks went with Pipa, as she does not warm up easy when she meets new people in general. I will book with her again!

Jeri is so great with my dog! She is super attentive and caring and truly cares for my dog. She always makes sure my pup is well taken care of and is very proactive for eg refilling water bowls, turning the fan on when it’s too hot. She also leaves detailed notes on rover card on how the walk went and takes photos which is always appreciated esp when I’m missing my pup from afar!

Megan is the best. She has been one of our go tos the last couple months with dog walking and house sitting. She is quick to reply and does a great job communicating. She is so thoughtful and always goes above and beyond whether it is bringing in packages, taking out the trash or helping clean up puppy accidents. We so appreciate, Megan!
