About: I’ve cared for dogs consistently for neighbors since I was growing up, which gave me hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, and routines. Last summer, I also worked at Groomerie as a dog bather, where I learned how to safely handle dogs, read body language, keep pets calm, and make sure they felt comfortable during care. I’m also shadowing for OT and PT three days a week, but outside of those hours I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with pets. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so pet care is something I’m excited to make part of my weekly routine. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any house rules they have in place. I know consistency helps pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior, keep a clean and safe environment, and always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and food areas are secure.
