About: We always had 2 dogs, my responsibility.As an adult I have had rescues and purebreds. I walk 4 to 5 miles a day and a dog makes it a learning experience. Fully retired. Snowbirds here through April 1. Have come to Sarasota last 13 years. Took the leap to be here Oct through April. We have a new puppy a Westie named Wallace who loves it here. I would provide walking services only since we are in an apartment downtown. Would prefer to work downtown area. There are so many parks and great locations to walk.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve been running a “private flight crew” for dogs in my apartment community for the last three years. Now that we’ve moved into a home with a yard, I’m able to expand my guest list and offer more First-Class stays. I specialize in creating a calm, boutique boarding experience with small groups, gentle structure, and tons of personal attention. My background is in real, in-home care for dogs of all personalities — seniors, shy pups, social butterflies, and everything in between — and I focus on safe introductions, cozy routines, and individualized care so every pup feels secure and completely at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — it’s part of my everyday “flight plan.” I work from home and stay hands-on throughout the day, so the pups enjoy consistent attention, yard time, play, treats, and snuggles. My husband, Riley, is also a co-pilot in our little operation, and for reasons unknown, every pup decides he’s their instant favorite — I’ve accepted it. Together we keep a calm, steady rhythm with morning potty breaks, midday activity, afternoon naps, and evening walks or yard zoomies. Because we only host a small number of dogs at a time, each pup gets the time, structure, and companionship they need to feel completely comfortable and cared for. When pups stay in our home, they live right alongside us — part of the household, never tucked away or left alone in a separate space. I tailor each dog’s care to match their routine and personality: slow introductions for shy pups, structured play for energetic guests, cozy rest areas for nappers, and plenty of enrichment throughout the day. I supervise all interactions to keep the environment peaceful and positive, and I follow your feeding, medication, and comfort instructions exactly as you share them. Riley is also involved in the day-to-day care (and yes, he somehow becomes everyone’s favorite within minutes). With only a small number of dogs at a time, we’re able to give each pup thoughtful, individualized attention and create a safe, familiar, truly home-like experience.

About: I have thoroughly enjoyed taking care of different dogs from a variety of breeds and ages for most of my life. Neighbors, friends, and family know that they can rely on me to care for their fur babies! I have also worked on a farm with a variety of different animals including puppies along with working for a dog walking company. I am a spiritual life coach in the process of expanding my business. I work from home and am my own boss which gives me a lot of flexibility in creating my schedule. I do have time slots when i'm working with clients but besides that I am able to be quite flexible based on your needs. I love to connect with the pets ahead of time to get to know their personality along with meeting the parents and seeing if i'm a good fit. I care for pets in my client’s home and learn what the pets’ essential needs are and what I should do when they demonstrate certain behaviors.

About: I've grown up with two dogs and constantly dog sit for friends and family and help with a dog shelter with fostering and adopting out their dogs. I have been helping adopt these dogs out to my community and have yet had a dog that was too hard for me to adopt out.
