Hello! My name is Brooke. I work full time in health care but have also been working as a part time pet sitter for Rover for over 4 years now. Outside of Rover, I have pet sat for 10+ years and have a lot of experience with pets of all breeds/sizes and pets with specific individualized care and/or medical needs. I also have two kitty fur babies of my own, Potato and Charlotte. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets while you're away or in need of extra help! =) I pride myself on caring for your fur babies the same way that I care for my own. I always provide daily updates with multiple photos (unless you prefer not to receive them) and am quick to respond if you need anything or just want to check in. I am proficient and comfortable administering medications including insulin injections, oral medications, and breathing nebulizer/inhaler treatments for pets. Please message with any pet sitting requests or questions you may have. I am currently also accepting requests for Thanksgiving and Christmas week if you are planning on traveling for the holidays and need a petsitter while away.

Brooke was the best!! You can tell she really loves and knows about animals. We had to leave for over two weeks and im so happy we found her because it made me less anxious knowing my cats were being so well taken care of. They have special diets and Brooke adapted easily to their automatic food bowls and always made sure they ate before she left. Would definitely work with her again!
We’re always anxious leaving our senior dog with degenerative myopathy because it’s a a lot of work to care for her. With Brooke we were able to have a weekend knowing that our dog and cat were well cared for. She was on time and sent updates. Would rebook and recommend!

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am a resident physician completing my medical residency currently. My schedule varies week to week based on which service I am working. Drop in visits and dog walking requests during the week days are limited to early morning and evening times only (no midday visits available). That same availability applies to any weekend days that I am working or if I am off, then I am able to provide up to 3 visits (morning, afternoon, evening). Please reach out with any scheduling requests or questions.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for all animals the same way that I care for my own, with lots of attention and love =). I also try to keep all animals routines as consistent as I can while you are away so I aim to do feedings, walks, bathroom breaks, etc around the same schedule that they're used to when you're with them.
Pets
A typical day
I always love taking the dogs I petsit for on regular walks, short runs, or to dog parks to play with other dogs pending the owner's preferences and requests. If I am not taking them out to a park or a walk I make sure to spend a lot of time outdoors with them around the apartment/house and give lots of loving and pets during all visits. For cats, I love playing with them with their toys and giving them lots of love while I am visiting.
