“I can not say enough great things about Libah. She made my trip so much better because I had no worries about leaving her with my boy Journey. She provided daily pictures and messages. Some days there were multiple communications. She was absoluty great. I would without a doubt, would without hesitation use her again. Trust me if you are looking for a sitter, she is the one you should go to!!”

“Erin watched our two dogs for over a week. She did a great job with communicating daily and sending cute pics and videos. Highly recommend Erin! We already have her booked for next trip.”

“I'm pretty sure Henry didn't miss me at all which is exactly what I hoped for. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in leaving my dog for the first time since I got him. Sky gave me daily updates (messages, pics and videos). Henry looked like he enjoyed every minute of the pet sit. Sky absolutely took great care of my little man. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: We always had 2 dogs, my responsibility. As an adult I have had rescues and purebreds. I walk 4 to 5 miles a day and a dog makes it a learning experience. Fully retired. Snowbirds here through April 1. Have come to Sarasota last 13 years. Took the leap to be here Oct through April. We have a new puppy a Westie named Wallace who loves it here. I would provide walking services only since we are in an apartment downtown. Would prefer to work downtown area. There are so many parks and great locations to walk.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats before. But my favorite experience was when I took care of a pregnant cat and got to see her kittens grow up. I’m a Sarasota native and a full time student at the State College of Florida. Growing up surrounded by a variety of animals- dogs, cats, horses, tortoises, and more- I’ve developed a deep love and understanding of pets. I offer reliable, loving care tailored to each animal’s needs, ensuring they receive the exercise, attention, and affection they deserve. I will care for your pets by walking them at their own pace and making sure they have plenty of water during the walk. I will also make sure that your pets follow the rules you have for your house during visits and make sure they are having fun.
“Devynn did an amazing job watching Darcy! I was so happy she was available again to take care of Darcy. It gave me such peace of mind knowing Darcy was so loved while I was away. I got so many cute pictures and updates! She also was very mindful of my home and left everything spotless. Thank you for doing such a great job watching her!”

“We can highly recommend Jill after she stayed with our rambunctious terrier for six days! He loved her! She took him on long walks and gave him lots of love and attention. Jill was great at communicating with us and was so understanding when a problem came up on our end. She took great care of our home and left it spotless!”

“Victoria did a wonderful job. We called her last minute for an overnight get away NYE. We did a meet and greet and Bailee took to her immediately. He is a service dog to me and we were skeptical knowing this would be the first time leaving him. She sent us pictures, was very personable and affectionate to Bailee. I would definitely recommend Victoria for your pet sitting needs. I know if we ever need someone, she will be the first one we call. Thank you again Victoria for treating Bailee like your own!!”

“I lucked out finding Kim at the last minute. She was able to take care of the dog with a two day notice which was amazing. She kept me updated throughout the stay and even left me a note at the end that wrapped everything up so that I didn’t have any questions about how it went. I would most certainly recommend her but also book her again myself. I’ll already Recommended her to neighbors and friends.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of every size and personality, from high-energy puppies to slow and steady seniors, so I understand how to adapt to each dog’s unique needs. I have a calm, patient energy that helps dogs feel safe and comfortable, and I love building real connections with every pup I meet. Whether it’s long walks, basic training reinforcement, or gentle care for older dogs, I treat each one like they’re my own. Caring for dogs is one of my favorite parts of the day. I make time every morning and evening for walks and playtime, and I’m flexible enough to fit in drop-ins or longer walks throughout the week. Whether it’s getting outside for some fresh air or giving extra cuddles after a walk, spending time with dogs keeps my days fun and fulfilling. When I’m in a client’s home, I always treat it with the same respect and care I would my own. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by sticking to their normal routines—feeding times, walks, play, and any special instructions. I pay close attention to their behavior and needs, give lots of love and attention, and keep the space tidy before I leave. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease while you’re away.
About: I've been pet sitting privately for over seven years and added energy healing (BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique) to my repertoire last year. You can read a few testimonials on my site and I'd be happy to share more of my glowing reviews or put you in touch with one of my regulars! Animals take to me very quickly, and I absolutely adore them! I have many regulars who reach out to me before anyone else because they feel complete peace of mind when I am with their pets. I know how important that is and love to provide that with an abundance of photos and updates. I have done BEST energy healing with several animals this year, curing digestive issues and easing separation anxiety as well as other emotional and physical issues. I specialize with past trauma! I signed up here with Rover a few years ago but due to a tech glitch, my profile was inactive. It is live now and I can't wait to take excellent care of your pets and home! I only do live-in work at this time because it is better for the animals. I'm a writer, life coach and energy healer and I mostly do that remotely, so I provide lots of time and companionship as well as love. I stick to whatever schedule and routines the animals are already used to, unless otherwise requested. I am very sensitive to animals' needs and catch on very quickly if anything isn't right with them.

About: I've grown up around animals since I was a baby. I started taking care of animals around age nine, so I definitely know a thing or two. There have been weeks/months when my family was out of town, so I took care of them during that period. I always have a blast taking care of animals, so much so that I seriously considered going to veterinary school. I fully take care of my cat, Marshella, and have been doing so for a while now. So I always scoop her litter, feed her, and, of course, play with her every day. I also provide her with some outdoor time. In my home, I will offer everything I offer to my cat, Marshella, including a litterbox, food, a filtered water fountain, playtime, and outdoor time, if requested by the owner, of course, along with anything else the owner requests.
About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve been running a “private flight crew” for dogs in my apartment community for the last three years. Now that we’ve moved into a home with a yard, I’m able to expand my guest list and offer more First-Class stays. I specialize in creating a calm, boutique boarding experience with small groups, gentle structure, and tons of personal attention. My background is in real, in-home care for dogs of all personalities — seniors, shy pups, social butterflies, and everything in between — and I focus on safe introductions, cozy routines, and individualized care so every pup feels secure and completely at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — it’s part of my everyday “flight plan.” I work from home and stay hands-on throughout the day, so the pups enjoy consistent attention, yard time, play, treats, and snuggles. My husband, Riley, is also a co-pilot in our little operation, and for reasons unknown, every pup decides he’s their instant favorite — I’ve accepted it. Together we keep a calm, steady rhythm with morning potty breaks, midday activity, afternoon naps, and evening walks or yard zoomies. Because we only host a small number of dogs at a time, each pup gets the time, structure, and companionship they need to feel completely comfortable and cared for. When pups stay in our home, they live right alongside us — part of the household, never tucked away or left alone in a separate space. I tailor each dog’s care to match their routine and personality: slow introductions for shy pups, structured play for energetic guests, cozy rest areas for nappers, and plenty of enrichment throughout the day. I supervise all interactions to keep the environment peaceful and positive, and I follow your feeding, medication, and comfort instructions exactly as you share them. Riley is also involved in the day-to-day care (and yes, he somehow becomes everyone’s favorite within minutes). With only a small number of dogs at a time, we’re able to give each pup thoughtful, individualized attention and create a safe, familiar, truly home-like experience.
“Aimee is as amazing! We traveled out of the country for a week so we knew we wouldn’t be able to check in as much as we’d like but we had no worries! Daisy absolutely adored her, she went above & beyond. We can’t wait to have her dog sit again!”

“Seth was very attentive and communicated daily about the dogs with photos. He even applied ear antibiotics and cleaned Izzy's ears daily, as she got an ear infection just prior to him dog/house sitting.”

About: I have provided pet care services to dogs and cats of all ages and needs. From walking the neighbors dogs to watching their cats at night, I am ready for whatever care your animal needs. I am also equipped from the personal care of the dogs and cats my family and I rescued from baby to senior. I can’t wait to meet your pets and make them feel at home! I generally work 9-6 weekdays but my schedule fluctuates week to week and is flexible on weekends. I am happy to provide care before and after my work day. Let’s find a time! I will provide a safe environment in the home for the pets maintaining whatever feeding and bathroom schedule they are on. I love playing with animals and just keeping them company :).
About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give to every dog I look after. I take the time to truly get to know each dog—their personality, routines, comfort level, and little quirks—so they feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away. I believe dogs thrive when they feel understood, and I aim to create that sense of familiarity and calm from the very first visit. I’m especially attentive with puppies, offering gentle guidance, positive reinforcement, and consistency as they learn, and with senior dogs, who often need extra patience, slower pacing, and a bit more TLC. Whether we’re enjoying fresh air on a beach walk or having a quiet cuddle break, your dog’s comfort always comes first. I communicate often and care deeply—so you can feel at ease knowing your dog is not just cared for, but truly loved! Having a flexible work-from-home schedule allows me to seamlessly incorporate pet care into my day. I can be there for midday play breaks, extra snuggles, or quick potty trips, making sure pets feel attended to even during a busy week. This flexibility means I can respond to each pet’s energy and mood in real time, giving them the personalized attention and companionship they deserve. I provide care exclusively in your home, so pets can stay cozy and comfortable in their familiar environment. Safety and trust come first—I make sure doors and gates are secure, follow your routines to the letter, and keep a watchful eye on every tail wag or curious whisker. From playtime and snuggles to feeding, medications, and clean litter boxes, I adapt to each pet’s personality and energy. I also treat your home with care and respect, so everything stays as it should while your furry friends are happy and safe.

We can highly recommend Jill after she stayed with our rambunctious terrier for six days! He loved her! She took him on long walks and gave him lots of love and attention. Jill was great at communicating with us and was so understanding when a problem came up on our end. She took great care of our home and left it spotless!

There isn’t enough room to express how amazing Nicole is! She went above and beyond to make sure this dog mama felt secure with leaving her animals! Pictures every day along with amazing communication. She even left holiday cards with pictures of our babies. Nicole is the only person I want to watch my “kids” from here out. My only concern is my animals might start to love her more than my husband and I.

We were away for 10 days, and Stephanie stayed at our home to care for our dog, Lexington. She was thorough, reliable, and had excellent communication—sending daily photos and updates. Lexington was so happy and well cared for, and our home was in perfect condition when we returned. We can’t recommend Stephanie enough!

Erika was great for us and our cattle dog Freddy! From perfectly timed walks, pee breaks, feedings, etc...Plus she sent plenty of pics and updates which is so important to us when away. She was flexible and reliable. Freddy doesn't like many people but he loved Erika.

Sophia did a terrific job dog sitting our very active terrier in our home for 6 days. She was loving towards him and sent us daily reports and cute photos. She also picked up our mail and newspapers and left our house neat and clean. We can highly recommend Sophia!

Danielle was super helpful watching our pups and senior cat for us at the last minute. She is super communicative sending pictures and keeping us updated on how things were going at home. We had a great trip thanks to Danielle. We knew they were in great hands. We will definitely have her pet sit for us again. We can’t wait to have her help us out again soon
