“Kim is simply the best sitter we have found! Our Luna absolutely loves her and the communication is fantastic, with frequent texts and video. She also took great care of our home while we were away. We will be using her again without hesitation.”

“Helena was excellent with our two animals, Harley and Rocky. She took pictures of them and gave us updates while we were away. Harley is an anxious dog but warmed up to Helena very quickly. I highly recommend her to take care of your pets.”

“Delia was fabulous and truly went above and beyond for our fur babies (1 lab and 2 cats). She was flexible, responsive, and sent updates regularly. Most importantly, my dog, Macy absolutely loved spending time with her!! I could see all the love come through in the pictures that were sent during the week we were traveling. Thank you, Delia! We cannot wait to work with you again. ❤️”

“Devynn was wonderful. I was on a cruise and didn’t have service so she made sure to keep in contact with my mom until I could check in. Mumfy seemed so happy. She sent pictures every day. I will definitely use her again.”

“Libah was amazing! During our meet and greet, she asked questions and took notes to make sure Trix was given the best care. She made sure to use Trix’s routine to ensure her happiness. Libah was great with communication while I was gone. I never had to worry about what was happening at home.”

“Erin has been fantastic with our 2YO Lab. She cares a lot, she personalizes her service in every possible way to adapt to your family's needs. Our dog learnt new things and she received lots of cuddles. We trust her and we will hire her again of course !”

About: We always had 2 dogs, my responsibility. As an adult I have had rescues and purebreds. I walk 4 to 5 miles a day and a dog makes it a learning experience. Fully retired. Snowbirds here through April 1. Have come to Sarasota last 13 years. Took the leap to be here Oct through April. We have a new puppy a Westie named Wallace who loves it here. I would provide walking services only since we are in an apartment downtown. Would prefer to work downtown area. There are so many parks and great locations to walk.
About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve been running a “private flight crew” for dogs in my apartment community for the last three years. Now that we’ve moved into a home with a yard, I’m able to expand my guest list and offer more First-Class stays. I specialize in creating a calm, boutique boarding experience with small groups, gentle structure, and tons of personal attention. My background is in real, in-home care for dogs of all personalities — seniors, shy pups, social butterflies, and everything in between — and I focus on safe introductions, cozy routines, and individualized care so every pup feels secure and completely at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — it’s part of my everyday “flight plan.” I work from home and stay hands-on throughout the day, so the pups enjoy consistent attention, yard time, play, treats, and snuggles. My husband, Riley, is also a co-pilot in our little operation, and for reasons unknown, every pup decides he’s their instant favorite — I’ve accepted it. Together we keep a calm, steady rhythm with morning potty breaks, midday activity, afternoon naps, and evening walks or yard zoomies. Because we only host a small number of dogs at a time, each pup gets the time, structure, and companionship they need to feel completely comfortable and cared for. When pups stay in our home, they live right alongside us — part of the household, never tucked away or left alone in a separate space. I tailor each dog’s care to match their routine and personality: slow introductions for shy pups, structured play for energetic guests, cozy rest areas for nappers, and plenty of enrichment throughout the day. I supervise all interactions to keep the environment peaceful and positive, and I follow your feeding, medication, and comfort instructions exactly as you share them. Riley is also involved in the day-to-day care (and yes, he somehow becomes everyone’s favorite within minutes). With only a small number of dogs at a time, we’re able to give each pup thoughtful, individualized attention and create a safe, familiar, truly home-like experience.
“Monica was great with our 2 dogs! One of our dogs requires multiple medicines twice daily, and Monica was fully on top of it. As soon as we met her, we were confident she’d do a great job (very confident and calm demenor) with our dogs and allow us to focus on a fun trip which is exactly what happened. Our dogs instantly liked her too and I know they got as much loving while we were gone as they do when we are here. We also returned to a spotless house! Thank you so much for everything Monica - can’t wait to have you back!”

About: Our family gets joy out of taking care of other people's pets because we grew up with dogs and cats of all sizes. Wether it’s bathing, walking or playing your pet will enjoy every aspect we have to offer. Our schedule is very flexible and some days we even work from home. I am available for boarding during the week and in the evenings as there is always someone at my house to spend time with your fur baby. Although my yard is unfenced it is very big with plenty of space to throw a ball! I even have a large kennel at my house. I also have two children who would just love to help me take care of your pets seeing as we can't have any of our own.
“Ruth was amazing with our dog and cat. She was prompt and very communicative throughout the visit. Our dog required eye drops and medicine and she was able to administer them with no issues. She also cleaned up after the pets and ensured our sheets were clean and ready for us when we came back home on a late flight. Lastly, she even coaxed our very shy cat out from hiding! We appreciate her professionalism and taking such great care of our pets!”

“Christine was so good with our two boys (cat and dog), she made sure she gave them both love and attention and took Enzo for nice walks. We came home to a very clean house and are so pleased with her services we intend to use her again.”

About: I've been pet sitting privately for over seven years and added energy healing (BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique) to my repertoire last year. You can read a few testimonials on my site and I'd be happy to share more of my glowing reviews or put you in touch with one of my regulars! Animals take to me very quickly, and I absolutely adore them! I have many regulars who reach out to me before anyone else because they feel complete peace of mind when I am with their pets. I know how important that is and love to provide that with an abundance of photos and updates. I have done BEST energy healing with several animals this year, curing digestive issues and easing separation anxiety as well as other emotional and physical issues. I specialize with past trauma! I signed up here with Rover a few years ago but due to a tech glitch, my profile was inactive. It is live now and I can't wait to take excellent care of your pets and home! I only do live-in work at this time because it is better for the animals. I'm a writer, life coach and energy healer and I mostly do that remotely, so I provide lots of time and companionship as well as love. I stick to whatever schedule and routines the animals are already used to, unless otherwise requested. I am very sensitive to animals' needs and catch on very quickly if anything isn't right with them.
“Ashlee was a wonderful dog/house sitter for my two dogs, Sherman and Maggie. She checked in everyday with updates and went above and beyond to ensure we came home to a clean house and happy pups after our trip. Highly recommend!”

“Alex was absolutely incredible as a house & pet sitter. This was the first time we left our two boys alone for more than a few days and he made us feel so comfortable. Not only was he a great buddy for our outgoing cat, but he also managed to get our shy one out from under the furniture for cuddles. He was professional and friendly as well as super communicative. I would recommend Alex to anyone, but especially for those who are traveling for long periods of time.”

Cherokee Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Isabella did a great job looking after Lincoln(dog) and Oliver(cat) while we were away. They were well taken care of and she gave them a lot of attention. She sent lots of photos to reassure that they were doing just fine! My family and I are looking to have her take care of Lincoln and Oliver again really soon! Thank you Isabella! (:

We were away for 10 days, and Stephanie stayed at our home to care for our dog, Lexington. She was thorough, reliable, and had excellent communication—sending daily photos and updates. Lexington was so happy and well cared for, and our home was in perfect condition when we returned. We can’t recommend Stephanie enough!

Sophia did a terrific job dog sitting our very active terrier in our home for 6 days. She was loving towards him and sent us daily reports and cute photos. She also picked up our mail and newspapers and left our house neat and clean. We can highly recommend Sophia!

Nicole is Holly & Cole’s bestest buddy! It was our first time leaving our dog overnight with someone other than us and Nicole took all of the worries away. She’s trustworthy, great with our pets, and writes the sweetest updates while we’re away from our fur babies. Highly recommend 🐾

I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Danielle stayed overnight with our girl and was absolutely wonderful! Communication was great throughout the trip. I got regular updates and never had to worry. She went above and beyond taking care of our home and taking out the garbage for us. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing Juju was home and in good hands. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!

Danielle was super helpful watching our pups and senior cat for us at the last minute. She is super communicative sending pictures and keeping us updated on how things were going at home. We had a great trip thanks to Danielle. We knew they were in great hands. We will definitely have her pet sit for us again. We can’t wait to have her help us out again soon
