“Victoria was amazing with our dog while we were gone. Our older dog unfortunately passes away a week before we left town and we couldn’t change our plans so we were so worried about our younger dog. Victoria gave her lots of love and attention and made sure she was kept occupied a lot so she didn’t get sad. She even brought her dogs over to play with her and brought them to our dog park. We couldn’t have been more grateful to her for taking such good care of our baby. We would recommend her 100%”

“Erin has been fantastic with our 2YO Lab. She cares a lot, she personalizes her service in every possible way to adapt to your family's needs. Our dog learnt new things and she received lots of cuddles. We trust her and we will hire her again of course !”

“Libah was wonderful! Great communication and I felt so comfortable with her in my home with my best friend marlee & her sister the cat! Will definitely be using Libah again in the future!”

“Ashlee was a wonderful dog/house sitter for my two dogs, Sherman and Maggie. She checked in everyday with updates and went above and beyond to ensure we came home to a clean house and happy pups after our trip. Highly recommend!”

“I lucked out finding Kim at the last minute. She was able to take care of the dog with a two day notice which was amazing. She kept me updated throughout the stay and even left me a note at the end that wrapped everything up so that I didn’t have any questions about how it went. I would most certainly recommend her but also book her again myself. I’ll already Recommended her to neighbors and friends.”

“We can highly recommend Jill after she stayed with our rambunctious terrier for six days! He loved her! She took him on long walks and gave him lots of love and attention. Jill was great at communicating with us and was so understanding when a problem came up on our end. She took great care of our home and left it spotless!”

About: I have had dogs for 11 years and have been volunteering weekly at my local humane society since March of 2025. My chihuahua is a senior and my other dog I have had since she was a puppy so I understand the difference of care dogs require at all stages of life. I'm currently working part time and in college full time so I am free on weekends to hang out with your adorable doggies! I am working on revamping my schedule so I can eventually be free during the week for your pets. We will be having lots of snuggle time and playtime in your home. If just relaxing inside, we may watch Bluey together. I will be taking pictures of your pets to later send to you of the fun we are having. I treat all dogs as if they were my child so they will be loved and cared for while you are gone.
About: Hi there! I’m an experience dog sitter. I’ve always had dogs growing up, I’ve worked for doggy daycares in the past now I mainly do referral dog sitting. I’m excited to meet your pets! I do not do pet sitting in my own home but I am more than happy to watch your pets in their home where they’re most comfortable.
About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and have two of my own. one I’ve cared for over five years. I’m very adaptable, dependable, and especially patient with senior pets. I gained a lot of experience helping care for my grandma’s senior dog, as well as two crazy pugs (so i can handle anything). Whether it’s dogs or cats, I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! “Kailea was amazing and sweet with our girls. She made sure to occupy their time with walks and snuggles. She had great communication and asked questions when needed. You can tell she has a big heart and cares. We will be asking her to watch the girls again.”

About: I've been pet sitting privately for over seven years and added energy healing (BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique) to my repertoire last year. You can read a few testimonials on my site and I'd be happy to share more of my glowing reviews or put you in touch with one of my regulars! Animals take to me very quickly, and I absolutely adore them! I have many regulars who reach out to me before anyone else because they feel complete peace of mind when I am with their pets. I know how important that is and love to provide that with an abundance of photos and updates. I have done BEST energy healing with several animals this year, curing digestive issues and easing separation anxiety as well as other emotional and physical issues. I specialize with past trauma! I signed up here with Rover a few years ago but due to a tech glitch, my profile was inactive. It is live now and I can't wait to take excellent care of your pets and home! I only do live-in work at this time because it is better for the animals. I'm a writer, life coach and energy healer and I mostly do that remotely, so I provide lots of time and companionship as well as love. I stick to whatever schedule and routines the animals are already used to, unless otherwise requested. I am very sensitive to animals' needs and catch on very quickly if anything isn't right with them.

About: I grew up on a farm and was always taking care of animals from a young age, whether they were my pets or the animals on the farm. I’m a Stage Manager for a local theater company so I usually work in the evening’s which means I can spend the morning and afternoon taking care of your pets. I can be available to take care of your pets at a moment’s notice. I unfortunately don’t have any pets right now but am more than willing to help accommodate your pets.
“Ruth was amazing with our dog and cat. She was prompt and very communicative throughout the visit. Our dog required eye drops and medicine and she was able to administer them with no issues. She also cleaned up after the pets and ensured our sheets were clean and ready for us when we came back home on a late flight. Lastly, she even coaxed our very shy cat out from hiding! We appreciate her professionalism and taking such great care of our pets!”

About: Hi, I’m Nick. I provide structured, dependable pet care built around routine, supervision, and clear communication. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds and personalities, from working dogs like Brittanys and English Labs to rare breeds like the Swedish Vallhound, as well as rescued strays and foster animals. I adjust care based on temperament, energy level, and age, ensuring each pet feels secure and engaged. This range of experience has taught me how to read behavior, manage different energy levels, and maintain a stable environment for dogs that thrive on structure as well as those who simply need consistency and patience. My goal is simple: treat every pet like family and give owners peace of mind knowing their companions are in good hands. Oh and lots of pictures :) Because I work from home, your pet is rarely left alone. I provide a stable, structured environment with consistent supervision throughout the day, ideal for dogs that thrive on routine and attentive care. Safety and structure come first in my home. I double check gates and entry points before every walk, use secure leashing practices, and maintain a controlled environment to prevent overstimulation. Whether caring for a senior cat or a high-energy retriever, I tailor each pet’s routine to match their age, temperament, and energy level to keep them safe, balanced, and comfortable.
About: I spent many years fostering dogs of every shape and size. I’ve owned horses, a pig, ferrets and Daisy a loving skunk. I’m athletic and have a calm, confident attitude with pets which puts them at ease. I currently own and operate Sentinel Pet Transport. I provide safe passage for your loving companions in a 4X4 ambulance. When I’m not transporting, I’m available for 24/7 pet care in your home…because that’s where your pet wants to be! I’m mindful of always following owner’s instructions when caring for their pets. I communicate clearly and always follow up with photos. Love is my priority.
“We needed a last-minute sitter for our two dogs in our home and Sam was able to help us out! Good communication throughout her stay and we received some pictures and updates. No issues at all!!! I will definitely use Sam again!!!”

“Usually I travel with my German Shepard and Doxie but this past Christmas break I knew I wanted to travel without them but I was skeptical about leaving them with anyone else. I reached out to many people on Rover but after meeting Danielle I felt comfortable making the decision to having her stay at our home to house sit and watch both dogs. Needless to say, she did not disappoint. I received many updates and pics that let me actually enjoy my vacation instead of worrying or feeling guilty. I would highly recommend Danielle!”

Southside Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
Nick stayed in our house to watch our mini dachshund while we were away for 5 days. This was the first time we had left her like this and with a stranger so we were nervous. Nick was a great communicator, sent tons of photos, and followed directions well. We came home to a happy pup!

We are so grateful to have found Stephanie. Our sweet poodle Justice came home the day before from surgery and we were nervous to leave her with a stranger. However Stephanie's calm presence and obviously love for animals came through and Justice was very open to her. Stephanie communicated with us while we were away as well as shared photos. I look forward to having Stephanie come again or Justice going to her home.

We had a last minute need for a sitter and our usual sitter was not available. I am always nervous about using a new sitter, but Jill’s profile seemed like she could be a good fit. She came for a meet and greet that day, and after meeting her in person I felt comfortable with her sitting for us. Jill spent the weekend with our dog and did a great job. She followed our instructions perfectly, making sure our dog was safe, fed, and well cared for while we were gone. We received photo updates and she was quick to respond to our texts. Our house was in perfect condition when we arrived home. She’s a trustworthy, calm, and responsible person who I don’t hesitate to recommend. We will book with Jill again!

There isn’t enough room to express how amazing Nicole is! She went above and beyond to make sure this dog mama felt secure with leaving her animals! Pictures every day along with amazing communication. She even left holiday cards with pictures of our babies. Nicole is the only person I want to watch my “kids” from here out. My only concern is my animals might start to love her more than my husband and I.

Sophia did a terrific job dog sitting our very active terrier in our home for 6 days. She was loving towards him and sent us daily reports and cute photos. She also picked up our mail and newspapers and left our house neat and clean. We can highly recommend Sophia!

Danielle was super helpful watching our pups and senior cat for us at the last minute. She is super communicative sending pictures and keeping us updated on how things were going at home. We had a great trip thanks to Danielle. We knew they were in great hands. We will definitely have her pet sit for us again. We can’t wait to have her help us out again soon
