About: I’ve cared for dogs consistently for neighbors since I was growing up, which gave me hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, and routines. Last summer, I also worked at Groomerie as a dog bather, where I learned how to safely handle dogs, read body language, keep pets calm, and make sure they felt comfortable during care. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any house rules they have in place. I know consistency helps pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior, keep a clean and safe environment, and always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and food areas are secure. During walks, I stay alert to surroundings and make safety my main focus. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is happy and well cared for.
