I have owned and cared for dogs my whole life. I also know how important it is to be able to leave my pets with someone who is caring, kind, and safe. Pets are family but sometimes we need to leave them with sitter. I will care for the pups I care for as my own. I have a fenced yard where they can play. Arlington Park a few blocks away for walks.

Our 14 year old small terrier mix just spent 5 great days with Jewell. He is blind and mostly deaf so he's a special needs dog. Jewell welcomed him into her home, and he felt comfortable in his new surroundings the first day. We also appreciated the daily updates and photos.
Jewell was so responsive to my requests I felt as though she were a close friend! I highly recommend her and hope to use her again next winter!

Schedule
I am recently retired RN. I wake looking forward to care for my two small dogs and am available to open our home to another small dog. I keep my boarding to a single dog or will care for two from same home.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a complete fenced yard and will be able to crate dog if necessary. Constant care. Never leave them outside by themselves. My dogs are allowed on furniture and sleep with me. The visiting dog will be able to as well if ok with owner.
Pets
A typical day
I love to stimulate and comfort all the dogs in my care. Structure with a routine potty breaks and exercise. Also, meals at the same time are comforting to pets. Some like to chase balls, some like to relax in bed. Treats are allowed if allowed. Playing in the fenced yard and taking on walks to nearby park is daily activity if allowed, and, of course, unlimited cuddles.
