“I have two large dogs - Siberian husky and a German shepherd. Kimberly responded quickly to my request. She was prompt showing up for a meet and greet with my two girls. She took pictures during her stay at my house to show me how they were doing. Kimberly confirmed her appointment with me the day before the booking.”

“This was our second time using Jamie and things went very well just like the first time. We have her booked again for travel in November and January. She has been easy to work and communicate with, and the pups seem like all went well when we return home. We look forward to the consistency of the same person, so as we travel more frequently than we have in the past they feel safe and secure, and not stressed by a constant change of sitters.”

“Vanessa couldn’t be more wonderful for my Roscoe. Roscoe is a very timid, skittish miniature Aussie doodle, and he was warming up to her at the first meeting. I cannot say enough good things about Vanessa her professionalism the way she went through a checklist before I left on my trip, kept track of my flights and played and took care of Roscoe. I had plenty of pictures and videos to enjoy while I was away and was 100% assured that he was in good hands and enjoying his time even though mommy was away, I will use Vanessa for Roscoe every single time! Highly recommend.”

“Juliette was great! She took great care of my 3 dogs, and my house also looked great! She kept in touch with us while we were away and sent us updates every day! I hope to use her again in July.”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Since I was a teenager, I’ve provided dog-sitting services for friends and family, gaining valuable experience with everything from crate training to administering medication for pets with medical needs. I’ve cared for dogs with mobility challenges and understand the patience and compassion they require. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a senior dog needing extra support, I’m comfortable and confident in providing attentive care. As a retired teacher, I have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. Being retired gives me the flexibility to fully dedicate time each day to caring for pets—whether it’s going on walks, feeding, playing, or simply offering companionship. I truly enjoy building routines that help pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. For client home sitting, I’m happy to care for pets in the comfort of their own surroundings, with a preference for homes located throughout the greater Sarasota area, including the islands. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, loving environment alongside my own friendly golden retriever and two healthy, well-socialized cats, so visiting pets must be comfortable with other animals. My home features a fenced-in backyard, perfect for play and exercise, in a quiet family neighborhood in the heart of Sarasota. For client home sitting, I’m happy to care for pets in the comfort of their own surroundings, with a preference for homes located throughout the greater Sarasota area, including the islands.

About: I have hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, from my own 140-pound gentle giant to small pups and cats! I have been pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and neighbors around Sarasota for over 10 years. As an avid runner, I’m more than happy to keep up with high-energy dogs who need extra exercise and stimulation. After graduating with my Master’s degree in May of 2024, I began working remotely, which allows me the flexibility to dog walk and pet sit again. I’m excited to join Rover and look forward to caring for your furry friend! My job is fully remote with self-made hours, making my schedule extremely flexible to fit your pet care needs. Day or night, weekday or weekend - I’ve got you covered! When caring for pets in a client‘s home, I treat their space and routines with the utmost respect to help their pets feel safe and secure in the absence of their owner. I follow all instructions carefully and keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

“Ruth was amazing with our dog and cat. She was prompt and very communicative throughout the visit. Our dog required eye drops and medicine and she was able to administer them with no issues. She also cleaned up after the pets and ensured our sheets were clean and ready for us when we came back home on a late flight. Lastly, she even coaxed our very shy cat out from hiding! We appreciate her professionalism and taking such great care of our pets!”

“My impression is that dogs love being around Sam. Sam is very reliable, accommodating and responsible person. Also she has great understanding of pet’s needs and takes actions accordingly. And I truly miss working with animals and working on their behavior and basic training. About: I have taken care of and lived with pets most of my life, starting around age 10. At any given time, I lived with/cared for 2-4 pets, consisting of cats and dogs, both young and senior (including puppies). I am experienced in all kinds of care - from daily check ins (bathroom breaks, feeding, and playing) to overnight care! I love to be around pets and would love to help out with any pet care needs. I am a full-time college student, yet home for the summer and need a summer job. I will be free mostly every day of the summer. I have an online summer class, but that won't take much of my time at all, so I am very flexible. I can care for pets in any way you might need - I am experienced in all sorts of pet care, including walking (short and long), playing with toys, administering medicine, feeding, and litter box cleanup.

“Usually I travel with my German Shepard and Doxie but this past Christmas break I knew I wanted to travel without them but I was skeptical about leaving them with anyone else. I reached out to many people on Rover but after meeting Danielle I felt comfortable making the decision to having her stay at our home to house sit and watch both dogs. Needless to say, she did not disappoint. I received many updates and pics that let me actually enjoy my vacation instead of worrying or feeling guilty. I would highly recommend Danielle!”
