About: Ever since I was born I have always had at least a dog and cat in my house and I couldn't imagine not having them! I wake up and see my animals and take care of what they need everytime I see them and show them all of the love! I do and will take care of each pet as if it is my own and always give so much love and care as needed.
“Thank you Faux for taking such great care of Rondo while we were away! Faux followed all of Rondo's needs and provided detailed information so I felt at ease. I will be booking again!”

About: Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile. Choosing care for your animal(s) can be a difficult decision. You want them to be in the very best hands while you're away. It's my goal to provide just that! My name is Ashley and I am an animal lover. My own pet sitter calls my house a little zoo. I have four cats, two frogs, and fish! I foster cats and kittens for two local rescues in my free time and get my puppy love through Rover. I am a nursing student and have a flexible schedule. I am located in the McCandless area, near North Park--a fantastic location for walking dogs! Whether you’re looking for someone to offer drop-in visits to check in on your animals while you’re away or would prefer that someone stay with them over night, don’t hesitate to reach out! I’d love to meet your furry (or non-furry!) family member(s) and be their best friend while you’re away. I am currently a nursing student and have a flexible schedule! I am available for drop-ins, walks, or home stays to provide company for your pet(s)! I am able to offer pet care in my client's homes. This enables me to maintain existing routines for your pet(s) in an environment they are already familiar with and comfortable in.
“Craig was ideal for our first time using Rover! He was on time and very attentive leading up to the booking which I appreciated to ease my nervousness. My girls seemed very at ease and happy with him in all the photos, definitely would recommend!”

“Jennifer is excellent! She arrives on schedule, communicates her ETA well in advance and takes such good care of my dog. She is reliable, caring and so attentive. My dog was excited to see her each time she came by for his walks. Thank you, Jennifer!”

About: As a compassionate animal enthusiast with over 25 years of experience, I am dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pets. Drawing from my diverse background as a mother, military veteran, and preschool teacher, I have built strong caregiving skills. In addition, in the past I have worked professionally as a veterinary technician for three years. Throughout my life, I have had the pleasure of owning various pets, including cats, dogs, chinchillas, hedgehogs, fish, pygmy goats, guinea pigs, turtles, and leopard geckos. Currently, I care for an English bulldog, a cat, and three guinea pigs. Having relocated to the Pittsburgh area in June 2024, I am excited to offer customized care solutions for your pet. As a preschool teacher with summers off, I am well-suited to provide your pets with the love, attention, and care they require, treating them with the same kindness I show my own pets. My availability during the school year is limited to nights, weekend, and holiday breaks. I am currently working as a preschool teacher. This gives me the whole summer off which allows me to be very flexible to care for your pets when you can't. I am committed to keeping your pet on the schedule you and your family want for them. All while keeping them safe and loving them.

Services include feeding, fresh water, walking and exercise, playtime, litter box cleaning, and companionship. I follow all care instructions closely, maintain pets’ routines, and monitor their health and behavior to ensure their safety and comfort while their owners are away.

I am happy to work with and continue training cues if needed! I am no professional but am dedicated to keeping these pups lifestyle as consistent and laid back as possible. My husband and I both contribute to dogs staying with us, whether it is daycare or boarding:) However, I do the drop ins and dog walking on my own for fun! About: I’ve been working at Camp Bow Wow for two years, but even before then, I was a huge dog lover. I love taking care of dogs of any age or breed, and working at Camp Bow Wow has only made me love it more. I’ve been dog sitting my aunt’s two dogs ever since she adopted them, and I also dog sit for a coworker and a close friend. I am a senior in high school, so I’m not available during the day on weekdays, but the summer will be very open for me. I’m going to RMU in the fall, so I won’t be far at all and I have my own car, so I’d be able to make it anywhere to care for dogs. I adore both dogs that love to cuddle and dogs that just want to play! When I’m not in school, I’m usually working, but I get off at the latest 8pm. If I’m house/dog sitting, I’d come straight from work. If your dog eats lunch, I would come straight from school (I get out for work release either 12:50 or 1:40 depending on the day) and I’d feed your dog before I go to work. Fridays are the days I’m the most available. I am free after 4:30/5pm and I feel that is perfect for if you are going out and need someone to watch your dog until you get back home. I am unable to have other dogs in my home, as I have two dogs that can be territorial, and I don’t want that to affect your dog. As a Camp Bow Wow employee, I’m required to be certified in pet first aid, so I have the ability to perform CPR on dogs. If your dog has any medical conditions or needs special care, I’d be happy to help them with that, whether it’s giving them their daily medications or helping them up the stairs. Working at a dog place, I see all sorts of accommodations, so I will help in whatever way your dog needs.

Mccandless dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emma has been wonderful over the past few months caring for our cannoli. She’s always reliable, caring, and great with our dog, and we truly appreciate the peace of mind she gives us each week. Today, she went above and beyond by helping feed him and give his medication while he’s been recovering, which meant so much to us. We’re very grateful for all the care and attention she’s shown him!
