“Lindsay and her family were so sweet and accommodating. They went out of their way to learn about my puppy and sent updates. They were there when I needed them. Thank you!”

“My pup, Frankie, always has the very best time at Maria and Tony’s house, and is extremely well taken care of while my family and I are out of town. If peace of mind and wonderful care for your beloved pets are important to you, I highly recommend contacting Maria!!”

“Cheryl is impossibly lovely. Our dog is a nervous boarder - he often struggles the first few days. But he didn't spend a single night in his crate while in Cheryl's care. She was super flexible with the start and end time of our stay and clearly gave our pupper a second home while we were away. We couldn't ask for a better experience.”

“Mary and her family were great! We had absolutely no worries leaving our dog with them for the weekend. Mary sent updates and pictures throughout the weekend, keeping us posted on how great it was going! Definitely going to rebook!”

“This was our puppy's first night away from home and I can't say enough about how reassuring it was to have him at Emily and Patrick's. He loved having another dog to play with. They had mountains of toys to entertain him as well. We got pictures and videos. And, more importantly, they kept him content despite his separation distress. We'll definitely come back to them when we need a dogsitter!”

“Meliisa and her family are amazing !!! They took such great care of Balto !! Balto became part of the family while he was there and enjoyed all the things he does at home :). Highly recommend Meliisa !!”

“Megan and her family were so welcoming to our two very energetic dogs. Our dogs were worn out as soon as we got in the car! We received lots of pictures and updates during our weekend away. So thankful to Megan and her family for taking good care of our pups!”

“Somdipa watched my Boston terrier, Dude, while I went on vacation for a week, and everything went great! I felt confident that he was well taken care of the whole time. Dude didn't want to leave, so I could tell he had a fun time. Would be very happy to have Somdipa watch Dude again in the future!”

“Megan and her family are delightful. I felt safe leaving nugget with them because since moment one she was charming, transparent and sweet. My best recommendation for the platform is to honestly confess that I will rebook if I ever need a sitter again. Nugget was so visibly happy”

“Stacey was very promt in her responses and accommodating to my shifting schedule! Our GS had a wonderful time running around with her mastiffes and returned healthy and happy to us! We would definitely let our doggo stay with her again!”

“We are so glad to have found Michelle and Sami. They treated our golden dog like family for our holiday weekend away. They also have 2 sons who were super helpful. The whole family took part in caring for our dog. My pup came back happy and tired from playing with their dogs ☺️”

“We were so comfortable leaving Chimay with Erin. I hope Bob didn’t hover too much at drop off, he is less experienced at that and can get protective. We hope all went well while she was there, it looked like she fit in from the pictures.”

About: Although we’re new to Rover, we’ve owned dogs our whole lives and understand that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, others just want someone nearby while they nap. Our family (including our two daughters) are all dog lovers, so visiting dogs become part of the family while they’re here. We’re happy to adjust to whatever helps your dog feel comfortable and stick to the routine they’re used to. I (Keith) work from home several days each week, so pet care fits naturally into my schedule. Morning walks, yard time, potty breaks, meals, and playtime are already part of my day with my own dog, so adding another four-legged friend feels pretty normal. My wife (Leigh) is home in the evenings and on the weekends so we both get to give our dog and visiting dogs a lot of attention and love. We keep our availability realistic so every dog gets the time and attention they deserve. We have a fully fenced backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks. Our own dog is friendly, but we don’t assume every dog wants an instant playmate, so introductions are always slow and supervised. If your dog needs their own space, that’s not a problem. We’ll follow your feeding schedule, medications, and any instructions you leave so their stay is as close to home as possible.

“Amy was great to work with and flexible about drop off and pick up when my flights were constantly changing. She kept me up to date with photos while we were away and Chimay seemed to be in good health and happy when I picked her up. I recommend Amy if your dog is good in groups. Looks like they have a blast playing with each other.”

“Sharon was wonderful with my fur kids. Great communication throughout their stay. I loved seeing all of the pictures while they were on their sleepover. She took great care of them.”
“Valerie was fantastic with communication and care of our dog Faith. Faith bonded with Valerie and her son right away and was her energetic self when she returned home. Everything went smoothly and I would certainly trust Valerie again with Faith.”
“Rocky very much enjoyed his stay. Loved playing with the other dogs. Got pictures and videos of him having a great time! Would definitely recommend Nick and Marissa for a safe environment. Will definitely use them again”

“Oh wow, booking a stay for our dog with Armida has officially set the bar incredibly high for what great dog care can and should look like! From before the booking even started, she wanted to know the interests and preferences of our pup, and planned around it all, including her own sleeping arrangements to ensure our pup was comfortable!! She pampered our pup so well, it felt that the dog was welcomed as a part of their family for the week! I cannot recommend Armida highly enough! One of the sweetest, kindest people I've ever met, too. We will forever be using Armida for our dog care needs for as long as she is available!!”

About: Reliable Dog Lover | Fenced Yard, Walks & Belly Rubs 🐾 As a lifelong dog lover, I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. Your furry friend will enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and, of course, lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I have a secure fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run, explore, and burn off energy. Whether your pup loves outdoor adventures, leisurely walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with a companion nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each dog’s unique needs and routine. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is having a great time. My goal is simple: provide a safe, fun, and stress-free experience for both you and your dog while you’re apart. What your dog can expect: * Secure fenced-in yard for supervised play * Daily walks and exercise * Plenty of belly rubs, cuddles, and attention * Reliable care and consistent routines * Regular photo and message updates * A safe, loving home environment I can’t wait to meet your best friend! 🐾🐕❤️ My husband and I are home MOST days of the week, allowing for lots of snuggles and playtime. We do work in an office two days a week. Our pup has free roam of the home while we are gone (8 hours max), but we have plenty of options for gating areas off if needed that still provide a comfortable environment for your pup! At night we are happy to have your dog be wherever they are most comfortable! We have a lovingly large and friendly 10 year old lab/pit mix named Maverick and two small children (toddler and grade school). MUST do meet and greet prior to drop off to ensure it’s a good fit.
“Maria and Tony took amazingly great care of both of our dogs! One of our dogs is elderly, and is blind and deaf, and they made him feel very much at home and we’re attentive to his needs. Our other dog can be a little bit salty and they showed her love and she immediately warmed up to them. Would absolutely use them again!”

“This was my dog's first day at dog day care and it was only for a couple hours just to try it out. But everything went very well. Chang updated me with pictures shortly after dropping my dog off to assure me he was doing well. When I picked him up he was happy to see me but also seemed like he would have followed Chang back to her house if she wanted him to. So that was very comforting to see that he liked her. I will be a repeat customer.”

“Millie stayed with Greg a few time days now. Some were full days some were half days! He was great about sending pics and taking care of Millie. They did 2 walks every time. He was very accommodating with my hours of need. I would highly recommend him.”

“Valerie and her son were absolutely incredible!! We made the request last minute and she was able to accommodate us which was so sweet. She’s great with communication and flexible as well. Most importantly, she kept in touch with us throughout the day, kept Wilson active and playful, and gave us a very detailed report at the end of the day. We are so lucky we found Valerie, would highly recommend!!”

“Melissa was amazing. Jake and I received an amazingly warm welcome when dropping off. My dog has anxiety issues and Melissa and her crew were wonderful. They took Jake on walks, took him to the park and he was so happy. Truly one of the best experiences Jake and I have had. So incredibly wonderful.”

I will request that you provide a crate for when I have to leave the home

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Jennifer and Devin were amazing to our 2 dogs. Not only were they incredibly considerate of our request (Christmas Day!) but were so great at communicating throughout the entire visit. It wouldn’t have been a better visit. Thank you so so so much.”

About: With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities, I provide a calm and structured environment where every animal feels secure and cared for. Your pet will be staying in our home's dedicated and separate room that has direct access to a half acre, surrounded by 6-foot privacy fencing, ideal for a safe play and exercise. I am a certified Yellow Dog Walker through Animal Friends and specialize in positive reinforcement, earning each dog’s trust through patience, consistency, and respect. Dogs from different households are introduced carefully and only if both owners approve. Every dog in my care follows a reliable routine built around their owner’s preferences. Feeding, playtime, cuddle breaks, and outdoor exercise are all kept on schedule, with regular potty breaks every few hours to maintain comfort and consistency. I am experienced in administering oral and topical medications, as well as muscular injections. In the rare event of an emergency, I act quickly and responsibly by providing first aid, contacting the owner immediately, and working with their veterinarian or PVSEC, which is 15 minutes away, if advanced care is needed. Boarding, overnight care, and in-home sitting are all available. Clients receive daily photo and video updates to stay connected and reassured. My family takes pride in maintaining a clean, attentive, and loving environment. Choosing our care means your pet is treated with the same responsibility, structure, and affection we give our own. Pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine, as I work from home full time boarding horses. I maintain a structured schedule that begins early in the morning with feeding, medication administration if needed, and outdoor time in the fenced yard. Throughout the day, I rotate between play sessions, walks, and quiet time to keep pets balanced and comfortable. Evening routines include another round of feeding, bathroom breaks, and wind-down time before bed. For boarding and overnight care, I remain on-site to ensure consistent supervision. I plan my workday and personal schedule around the animals’ needs so no pet is ever left waiting for attention or care. Every pet in my care is treated with the same level of safety and respect as my own. My home and facility are designed for secure, low-stress care, featuring a half-acre yard enclosed by a six-foot privacy fence where dogs can exercise freely under supervision. I never mix pets from different households unless both owners confirm compatibility. Feeding areas, bedding, and play equipment are cleaned and sanitized regularly. I monitor all pets closely for signs of stress, discomfort, or illness and respond immediately. In the rare event of an emergency, I apply first aid, contact the owner, and consult their veterinarian or PVSEC if advanced care is required. Trust is built through consistency, transparency, and communication, with daily photo or video updates provided to owners for peace of mind.
About: I’m the person that animals always seem to love and I feel the same in return. Whether you’re trusting me in your home or bringing your animal to mine, you can be assured that I’ll care for them with love, safety and responsibility foremost in mind. I’ve had animals my entire life as has my husband and my two boys have inherited our love for them as well. I’m currently a stay at home mom to 2 boys, ages 5 and 7, so I have plenty of time to make sure your animal is getting the care they need. We have a small home and a large yard on a quiet street. Your pup will enjoy at least 4-5 walks outside per day, I can adapt the length to your dog’s particular exercise needs. We have a crate, if your dog prefers, and I can have separate up/downstairs accommodations if needed but generally your pet will have free reign of my home and family.
About: I LOVE dogs!! Large, small, young, old, they are all special in their own way. I have two of my own, a three year old Lab/Husky mix and a six month old white Lab. I have also cared for my adult children’s dogs for years when they go away or need help. I am currently a stay at home dog mom :) with my two fur babies who I adore. A little about me, I was allergic to dogs until about five years ago when I started a new medicine that changed my life. It cleared up all my allergies and now I can’t get enough of dogs. My kids say I am making up for all the years I couldn’t be around them! My kids are now all adults and I absolutely love caring for dogs. I found it so hard to find people to take good care of mine when i go away, so I thought I would offer my services to help others. It is so frustrating being away on vacation trying to relax and have fun yet having to worry about how someone is caring for your animals. I treat all animals with love and affection, as if they were mine. A little bit about my home. I have a very comfortable home with over 3 acres for dogs to run around and play. I have a wireless fence so they are free to run as they wish. I can also put them on a leash or run, if you would prefer.I love to play fetch with them and go for walks. I also have a large crate, if wanted/needed and two large dog beds. I would love to watch your dog. Please send me a message with any questions!

Feel free to message me. ☺️ I understand every furry friend is different and I am adaptable to learn their routine! About: Dog walking & sitting was my very first job, and has always remained my favorite. I am a mom to a 2 year old Cavalier King Charles boy but have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including older ones who require medications. I only work very part-time and am looking to make dog walking more a part of my weekly life! They say a job should be what you love doing and I love taking care of doggos. I can make your dog's care a priority, dedicating time and focus on them. I am punctual and trustworthy, and offer clear and consistent communication. I understand how it feels to leave your dog's care in someone else's hands. Sometimes we just have to! I will show up to your home on time, taking your doggo for the exercise they need, and making sure they have ample bathroom and play time.
About: I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals and have experience with everything from dogs and cats to horses, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Professionally, I worked at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute, one of the nation’s leading veterinary hospitals, where I gained hands-on experience supporting animal health and recognizing changes in behavior, appetite, mobility, and overall wellness. I also helped train dogs through Wildcat Service Dogs, which taught me how to work with dogs of different temperaments, reinforce training, and build trust through consistency and positive interactions. In addition to my animal experience, my healthcare background has made me highly dependable, detail-oriented, and attentive to safety. Whether your pet needs a long walk, medication, extra exercise, specialized care, or simply companionship while you’re away, I tailor my approach to their individual needs. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. My schedule allows me the flexibility to provide reliable care throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays when available. Animal care is already part of my everyday life. I currently care for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and other animals, so maintaining feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication administration, and daily enrichment is second nature to me. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I make every effort to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, medical needs, and any special instructions before care begins. Pets staying with me enjoy access to 30 fully fenced acres in Gibsonia, providing plenty of room for exercise, enrichment, sniffing, and play in a secure environment. All outdoor time is supervised, and activities are tailored to each dog’s energy level, age, and comfort. With experience in veterinary medicine, service dog training, and caring for a wide variety of animals, I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring for signs of illness or distress, and handling pets with unique behavioral or medical needs. I provide frequent updates and photos so owners can enjoy peace of mind while they’re away.
“Shaina was a great help while I was away on vacation. I had peace of mind knowing she was there to handle daily walks. She kept me updated daily and I know Munch looked forward to his walks with her too! Thanks Shaina!”

I always believe I’m leaving someone’s home better than I’ve come into it, whether that’s doing the last dish in the sink or having fresh flowers for when you return home. I treat your home with respect and your pet(s) as family. I double-check that doors are locked and happy to care for plants while I’m there.
About: I grew up with two dogs in Florida, so I have experience with walking, feeding, and taking care of them. If my friends need a dog sitter, I am always around to help them out. My current family dog has resource guarding, so I have experience with dogs that have behavioral issues as well. I miss having a dog of my own in Pittsburgh, so I would love to help out with yours! My schedule is flexible. I can guarantee that I am free Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays to meet your needs. I am usually available on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well. I am able to help out in your home to care for your dogs. I am able to follow any instructions that you give me. I am a very detail oriented and conscientious person, so you can rely on me to take care of your pet (walking, feeding, exercise, water). I am happy to communicate with you throughout the visit as well!
“Jennifer & Edward immediately hit it off at the meet & greet. Edward is on a recurring walk schedule & Jennifer has been very flexible with our schedules. Her reports on his walks are great!”

About: Hi, I am an avid animal lover and used to volunteer at animal friends. I dog and turtle sit for a family friend when their away and I also used to cat sit for a lady with several cats and watch my friends cats when she's away. When I pet sit, I'd go and give the animals clean water, play with them, give them food, for cats change their litters, for turtles let them walk around outside their cage for enrichment for dogs I either let them out in the backyard or take them on walks. I am a firm believer in staying and giving as much of my attention to all animals for as long as possible and treating them as if they were my own pets. Pay rate is flexible. My availability is very flexible. Hope to hear from you soon!
“Kate has been wonderful with walking my boy. She communicates well, is reliable, flexible and all around a good person. Unfortunately we are moving, I can only hope our next walker is as caring & good.”

“Lindsay and her family were so sweet and accommodating. They went out of their way to learn about my puppy and sent updates. They were there when I needed them. Thank you!”

“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“Mike watched our golden doodle puppy during our wedding weekend, and he was awesome! Incredibly accommodating and flexible with timing and he took such good care of our Evie. Would very highly recommend!”

“Adrienne is absolutely amazing. She definitely knows how to handle your precious furry family members and gives full attention to parent and fur-kid. The daily pictures of activities kept me entertained but also confident in quality of care. I will be coming back for sure...”

“Jennifer and Devin were amazing! We came from Orlando for vacation and they were very communicative before and during the stay. They made me feel very safe that Akiro was going to be in good hands while we went out. Akiro was feeling a little sick from the stress of traveling and she reassured me that they can still watch him. Their pup Batman was so so sweet and was such a good friend to Akiro. He was showing him all the good spots to lay on the couch. They also provided me with many pictures to make sure we knew he was having a good time.”
